Hey - if you want a laugh - have a look on my facebook page!

Just put some more up of lo - looking cool, and some very cringeworthy pic of us doing the sling photoshoot!??

Lol MHC.....i think my DH must be from the same planet as yours. He got home when I was at baby massage and has done the washing up, and my lovely shiny sink is full of bits of tomato and herbs . He said, I couldn't do as grand a job as you, so I've left the sink for you.....nice.

DKMA...fabulous darlink....they look the harmony hairspray adverts...."is she or isn't she?"

I made it to baby massage....full marks to me for getting out of the house . It was really nice and the women were all very friendly, and I've been invited along to the first parents group on Monday. It's meant to be for first time mums, but as DS is in school my HV said to come along.

I'm feeling a little bit better about things, mainly because DH is home and off doing the school run. They aren't back yet so looks like they have gone to the PO for a toy for DS (his promised reward if he got a gold star for his behaviour this week).

DD is now completely zonked out after her massage. I'm going to try the strokes on DS tonight!

sputnik · 28/09/2007 15:51

I am relieved Daisy, you could now visit me without having to turn the bog roll round

Right, off to the doctors again, as DD still has really stinky catarrh after 10 days of abs, and will get DS checked too while Ii'm at it.

trendaverter · 28/09/2007 15:52

My 'D'H leaves stuff in the sink too... it must be something in the chromosomes...

love the pics DKMA! And your lo is HUGE!

i only got 2

Old Err
Lord Re

think i'll stick to derlor!

well it's been a nail biting day today here in casa derlor.
Got a phone call at about 2pm from Mr Derlor saying he had just fallen off his bike at about the 67 mile mark. he had been speeding, full pelt (typical man) down a steep hill, when he lost control and flew over his handlebars landing on his head in a ditch! (bike is F*ed) Thank God he had a helmet on!!! anyway - he was lying still waiting for an ambulance at the time of the call as he had pain in his neck and was therefore paniking the race officials.

derlor · 28/09/2007 19:25

that annoying thread is really funny Daisy - i've just added mine - off to read it some more....

foxybrown · 28/09/2007 19:55

Ouch for Mr D! hope he is ok.

Boxy frown. apt, as I am fed up.

Its dark.
its wet.
I fucking hate school mums.
I need a duvet day.

trendaverter · 28/09/2007 20:01

trendaverter · 28/09/2007 20:02

faylisa · 28/09/2007 20:03

SOunds painful for Mr Derlor - is his pride terribly damaged as well

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 28/09/2007 20:08

yeowch Mr Delor!!!!
Bet he's got a few grazes!!

derlor · 28/09/2007 20:17

yeah, i think Mr derlor will be looking for MAJOR sympathy when he arrives home tomorrow evening!!
TA - i LOVE your anagram name

DaisyABandyBoobToo · 28/09/2007 20:29

I like Tart Reverend TA...

ouchity ouch for Mr Derlor. Is he fit for work, or are you going to have him lying around the house groaning for a few days...

I escaped to the shops for an hour earlier...it is so nice not having to rush around, deflecting tantrums as I go. I bumped into one of the mums I met ages ago at the baby cafe. We swapped a few e-mails a while ago as she was trying to organise an NCT coffee morning, but it ended up being in the afternoon which was no use to me cos of the school run. Anyway, she said to call her and we could have a coffee sometime. Of course I'm doing that "did she really mean it or was she just being polite" thing, but DH pointed out that she wouldn't have offered if she didn't mean it.

Feeling much chirpier now (DH being home helps a lot), but he has to work tomorrow....to do a print pass for the latest product launch . He spoke to his boss though, who said he can take Monday off instead . So, I think we are going to leave babyboo with the GPs and go out for lunch, just the two of us.....which will be lovely.

He's gone to the shop to get me chocolate...nice man!

DaisyABandyBoobToo · 28/09/2007 20:42

derlor, how are you feeling?

faylisa · 28/09/2007 20:50

Just heard that one of my BFs has had a baby boy - she was induced and went through the whole of labour with no pain relief - hooray for her!

derlor · 28/09/2007 20:52

oh Daisy you should definately call her - i totally agree with your DH
your monday sounds lovely, glad your mood has lifted, it's crap when you feel so low huh.
I'm feeling totally normal again thankfully, stood on scales this morning and had lost 4lbs!!! - probably put it all back on again already though
we'll need another new thread again soon i notice.

faylisa · 28/09/2007 20:53

Daisy - a nice lunch out with just DH sounds wonderful, have a lovely time

We are going out tomorrow night to celebrate DH's "big" birthday with some friends. DD is staying the night with my parents and DH's aunt is having DS - Instead of looking fwd to it, I'm panicking because I have nothing nice to wear that fits me and I don't want to look all fat and frumpy beside my non-Mum friends. I know they won't care but I do

derlor · 28/09/2007 20:54

oh he'll be fit to work i think - he's on nightshift from sunday, he's NEVER had a day off work in his life!!!!
