My DD gets neck cheese too Derlor.

Hope your DH's ride goes well, and if he starts to find the 100 miles tough going, then tell him to think of my Dad. Last year he cycled 100 miles in one day (took him well over 12 hours) to raise money for a children's hospice (he organised it all himself, it wasn't an official event). "So?" your DH may say. Now I don't know your DH, but my guess is he's not 72 like my Dad was at the time?

riabutterflew · 26/09/2007 21:16

wow at your daD j. AND GOOD LUCK TO YOUR DH DERLOR.

Routine is like this atm... (skip if you just frankly don't give a toss)
5.45 - get up, shower
6am wake up ds for breakfast, get him ready to go out
6.20 - get me ready to go out while DH showers
6.30 - I go to work, dh takes ds to childcare
7.30 at work
4.30 leave work
5.30 pick up ds from childcare
5.35 cook dinner
6.00 eat
6.20 do laundry, housework, get DS stuff ready for next day, get ebay stuff ready to post
8.30 - give ds final feed and play time and read a story
8.45 - ME time! woohoo

trendaverter · 26/09/2007 21:18

daisyandbabybootoo · 26/09/2007 21:18

No idea on price of cleaners I'm afraid.

I was trying to convince DH that we need to get someone in to do the ironing, but as I haven't actually ironed anything since my last marathon session pre DD......

DH irons his own shirts and DSs school shirt when required (he's usually in poloshirts)

This no ironing life is a revelation to me, I had NO IDEA it could be done. If I have anything that looks too creased, I just give it a whizz in the drier for 5 mins

Could use a cleaner, but no chance of that when I'm not working. If I do go back in April a cleaner will be a priority

daisyandbabybootoo · 26/09/2007 21:20

Jamantha, my FIL is a bit of a cyclist as well at 70. He does about 75 miles a week and swims about five miles. He has a better body than his 40 year old son

derlor · 26/09/2007 21:20

LOL jamantha - no my DH is NOT 72!! he's 32 so 100 miles should be a breeze for him!!!!! big well done to your dad though - very impressive.

trendaverter · 26/09/2007 21:21

night all... hope things improve for you bumper x

derlor · 26/09/2007 21:24

now now Dasiy don't go giving the eye to your FIL that's a whole big CAN OF WORMS!!!!!!!
Night TA or should i say SW??

riabutterflew · 26/09/2007 21:26

is this any help ta?

BTW you achieve more in a day than I sometimes do in a week

derlor · 26/09/2007 21:33

meant to say earlier my fenugreek capsules are working already (day 2) i feel comfortably full all day and DD is definately more satisfied - she just keeps looking up ant me whilst feeding and grinning - no more empty boobs in this house!!

Jamantha · 26/09/2007 21:36

Sounds good Derlor. I might have a peek in Holland & Barrett tomorrow and see if I can get any. We're trying to wean DD off her bedtime bottle by not increasing the volume of formula milk she gets as she grows, but if I can increase my supply a bit too that should help as well.

Anyway, I'm exhausted, so night all.

riabutterflew · 26/09/2007 21:50

charles burrell made traction engines (my secret passion) i wonder if they are related? it is a surname that crops up in my family history. I would be happy to find links with either (I am such a sleb-slave)

riabutterflew · 26/09/2007 21:52

yesterday's convo I know but that Verity woman sounds a nightmare. Holly's suggestion was too good for her.

Bumper, hope tomorrow is a better day for you.

derlor · 26/09/2007 21:53

sputnik · 26/09/2007 21:57

Wow I remember going to see the Burrel Collection not long after it first opened about a quarter of a century ago. It was great.
