she was maybe having a slow morning?

right off to find those cheap bumgenius...

oh, and i started THIS THREAD

trendaverter · 25/09/2007 12:44

have a look at www.usednappies.co.uk in the interim though until ebay gets their act together. Some cheap stuff to be had!

BTW if anyone wants any US nappies but can't get them shipped here please let me know, I am going out there in November, you can get them delivered to my sisters and I'll pick them up.

Not too many though I still have luggage weight restrictions ;-)

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 12:55

did you get DSs passport sorted yet TA?

we made an appointment in the end...cost £80 for each one though

trendaverter · 25/09/2007 13:01

I rang the account handler and she was very sympathetic. Our problem is we haven't known anyone here for 2 years that's not related to us so no-one will provide the countersignature.

When we did find someone (who we are related to, my BIL but my sister never changed her name so we thought we could get away with it) we were still declined as he is VAT exempt

DH has a colleague that will lie for us though so trying again tomorrow....

loonylovegood · 25/09/2007 13:16

Hahahaha, I'm pissing myself laughing!! I have a cold, but my dp is just like this!!

hi ta, glad it wasn't too bad. we were thinking of you. was S gratifyingly pleased to see you?

good luck mhc. no-cook food is always worth enduring bad people! hope you manage to enjoy yourself too.

HV coming tomorrow and will weigh baggins too so i won't have to go to clinic. yippee!

i am VERY bored.

BadZelda · 25/09/2007 13:41

Hi TA - glad it wasn't too traumatic. I'd like to take the whole family away for a decent trip before I have to go back to work in Jan...so will have to try and get DD's passport sorted...it's a right pain! I have an irish pp so not used to UK passport office...rules are different I think? Anyway, am about to find out!

Jamantha · 25/09/2007 14:04

hi. Had a RL friend round this morning with her DD And just been wasting time playing this Strange, but fun I thought

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 14:21

LOL Jamantha...that's a bit addictive.

I love all those build up type games. I've got Zoo Tycoon which is great fun...and we used to have sim city many many years ago!

Jamantha · 25/09/2007 14:26

I know. I put LO in her cot so I could use the loo. She is still laying happily watching her mobile animals and I am hoping she will continue that way, or even better go to sleep, so I can play a bit more! Bad mummy, bad mummy...

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 14:42

My little man didn't find lurve this time around , but at least I didn't kill him

Jamantha · 25/09/2007 14:44

I love the way they put the baby's waste in the environmental incinerator (if you've built it, otherwise it gets dumped by the river)

sputnik · 25/09/2007 14:48

I seriously cannot afford to have anything to do with that game. I am a former sim city addict. I am going to turn the computer off now
Bye

trendaverter · 25/09/2007 14:49

GP won't sign it!
Our new one hasn't known us for long enough and our old one won't do it as we are no longer registered at that practice. Hence my problem.

Anyway we have a corrupt friend who will help ;-)

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 14:52

i could help at a push TA as i have professional qualifications....would be a bit norty though

sputnik · 25/09/2007 14:59

Isn't it totally archaic though in this day and age?
I mean is that professional meant to vouch for your good behaviour or something.

daisyandbabybootoo · 25/09/2007 15:02

thery are a law unto themselves....when dh went to the office yesterday he had to take 2 forms of ID.....abd a passport wasn't acceptable!!!! [incredulous]

riabutterflew · 25/09/2007 15:07

we don't have passports at all

trendaverter · 25/09/2007 15:13

I agree

Just because someone has prescribed me thrush cream means they are the best person to decide wether or not my child can travel

trendaverter · 25/09/2007 15:14

Oh and Thanks Daisy
Hopefully we won't need it but a last resort is a wonderful thing to have, we were running out of options!

riabutterflew · 25/09/2007 15:21

just seen this -

secret santa?

Jamantha · 25/09/2007 15:27

???

riabutterflew · 25/09/2007 15:35

DH will not be applying!

surely the poor man should get paid more than that for dealing with all those nasty kids!
