April 2007 - As 6 months has passed, a time to reflect on just how lucky we are

It's easy to forget just how lucky we are to have beautiful healthy children

Our thoughts are with Vio and her family

And I'm sure we're all thinking of those that have been absent lately, and hoping that they know they can return to us if they need us at any time, no questions asked

PINIONS, SMOLE, MUMINA..., NUTTY, OCTO, (AND ANYONE ELSE I'VE MISSED)...........

sorry, feeling soppy

CD, the Sheep Centre?

Sexonlegs · 12/09/2007 12:25

Hi Octo, ood to see you.

And Yvie. S is a sweetheart!

Back again from school, and one of the girls in B's class was sick at school today. Please send keep away sick vibes as I don't do sick!!!

CD, did you have a contract with the shop?

StealthPolarBear · 12/09/2007 12:45

DH looks like he's been in a fight - he has an infected swollen eye (we think caused by T poking him in the eye the other day) and a cracked rib from football a couple of weeks ago.
Apparently the doctor prescribed lots of sofa rest and rugby watching

Sexonlegs · 12/09/2007 12:46

I like the sound of your dh's Doctor - I could do with the same prescription!!

mammyjo · 12/09/2007 13:42

Obviously a doctor of the male variety SPB! My dh has that prescription now, especially as the world cup is on!! He doesnt have a cracked rib and swollen eye as an excuse though! Shouldnt moan, he has been fab lately.

Elkie, how is your MIL getting along? Hope your dh is managing to split himself. Must be very difficult for you all just now xxx

Welcome back octo and yvie! Good to see you both

What about last night? Nothing as far as I'm aware.

octoandflash · 12/09/2007 14:26

Hi Maveta

Right off for cup of tea and then back to school ...

StealthPolarBear · 12/09/2007 14:29

Hey octo what happened last night?
Incredibly nosy!!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 14:29

last night - some of us have got very annoyed with the way the mccann threads go, there are some posters who speculate wildly, making horrid accusations. i've been keeping away on the whole.

it was decided that we'd have a sort-of boycott, and start loads of 'in the news' threads about random stuff

this thread explains it better

OP posts:
PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 14:32

at least, that's what i presume octo was talking about! active convos was taken over by threads such as -
In the news - George Michael likes gentlemen

OP posts:
octoandflash · 12/09/2007 14:34

I wasn't on last night so have no idea - am on current mcann thread as it raises some quite interesting questions about parenting and hasn't gone down the horrible route - havne't posted on one before or read them tbh.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 14:36

oops, meant oooggs!

OP posts:
octoandflash · 12/09/2007 14:37

and am not meant to be here but doing meaningful yummy mummy things and being domestic goddess - but the washing is done, the house is tidy, the tea is sorted and ernie is asleep...

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 14:46

i'm starting threads about spiders

OP posts:
octoandflash · 12/09/2007 14:50

You pillock

octoandflash · 12/09/2007 14:58

You weren't joking

Home breaker

octoandflash · 12/09/2007 15:06

Right thats my hit for the week - am mn'ed up and raring to go! Have had some mcann insight, advised on birth, spouted drivel and offended Pillock by calling her a pillock

Take care everyone xxx

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 15:12

I never joke about spiders
