April 2007 - As 6 months has passed, a time to reflect on just how lucky we are

It's easy to forget just how lucky we are to have beautiful healthy children

Our thoughts are with Vio and her family

And I'm sure we're all thinking of those that have been absent lately, and hoping that they know they can return to us if they need us at any time, no questions asked

PINIONS, SMOLE, MUMINA..., NUTTY, OCTO, (AND ANYONE ELSE I'VE MISSED)...........

sorry, feeling soppy

I'll have to give up pureeing soon, Rachel eats it all by the bucket load. No time for faffing about with ice cube size!

Here is a tip, when I'm out and about, I only take white food-saves mess and stains.

Ive now got the emails, thanks. I'm waiting to get details of funeral company, and hopefully will arrange for flowers to be on the car when it arrives at the house.

elkiedee · 12/09/2007 22:30

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 22:33

AngeG · 12/09/2007 22:41

Meant to say lovely photo of you and your children MMK

mmk · 12/09/2007 22:42

Oh dear, at least I'm famous for a bit.

I finally ventured out of the study, having been here all night, to scenes of horror. The cat is laying in Dhs side of the bed in a rather sexy looking pose. Dh has fallen asleep amidst all the mess in the lounge, and the breakfast table is not laid. Oh dear, such signs of neglect.

mmk · 12/09/2007 22:50

off to bed now, nighty night. Will update you in the morning

so glad to see you all again

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 22:50

you have a breakfast table
and it gets laid

can tell you're of a slightly different generation to me

Lol at the Pillock! Laying the breakfast table () for me involves sweeping aside the yoghurt pots from tea the night before!!

Elkie - it was advertised on the website, I noticed it a few weeks ago, but the apply by date was end of june! And now it's not there! I'm assuming they thought they had someone but have been let down so stuck letters in all children's book bags in hope of getting someone quickly that way. Might check job centre sight now though as they may have contacted job centre.

mmk · 12/09/2007 23:12

ar yes Pillock, we eat at the table. Before babies it used to be breakfast in bed, but now, DH and Ds have to leave the house at 8.20 so we all eat together first. Of course Rachel just sits there blowing bubbles with her puree! eek!

mmk · 12/09/2007 23:14

ob we sweep aside the yog pots, and always remove the bogeys or whatever is lurking on the table, first. If the cat has slept on the table, we try to get his fur out of the cornflake box too!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 12/09/2007 23:14

we would eat at the table, if breakfast ever happened.
M takes it to Nursery, as does J, and I eat in the car
bad I know, but i'm sooooo dis-organised

mmk you should have my email address
T is up again - zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

elkiedee · 12/09/2007 23:29

LOL at mmk's cat! We eat in the evening at our table and dp lays it. We will have to start having breakfast there again at some point when D isn't just having milk. It gets cleared but we have one big downstairs room with a poky kitchen, so if it's a mess I can't really avoid seeing it.

This post just provoked me into moving lots of clutter from our dining table though mostly sadly just into other places in the room.

Peshatlast · 13/09/2007 00:09

Lol elkie sounds like dps cleaning - its just relocation of mess! Drives me mad!!

Have just finished application form to return first thing tomorrow when i turned to back page and saw references section - bugger!! How could i forget i need refs?! Now have to ring head office of previous company as they no longer have an office in town so god knows who there can give me a ref and will have to ring college and see if a tutor from 8/9 years ago can remember me from a course i didnt even finish!! Wish me luck!

Right off to bed now Im shattered and fairly peed off that i stayed up late to finish the form and now find there was no need - typical!

geordiemacminx · 13/09/2007 07:46

mmk I have emailed you, if you could confirm you get it that would be great

maveta · 13/09/2007 07:55

I´m shattered, not had a chance to catch up. N went to sleep at 8.30pm, woke at 12am to feed and didn´t go back to sleep until 3am!! Then woke at 7am, dh got up with him after I´d fed him and now, 9am, I´ve just put him down again. This is AWFUL - it seems to be going from bad to worse. I honestly don´t know why he´s waking so much. He wasn´t crying or in pain, just awake. No dirty/ wet nappy, not too hot, not too cold etc etc.

I´m SO TIRED.
