It's easy to forget just how lucky we are to have beautiful healthy children

Our thoughts are with Vio and her family

And I'm sure we're all thinking of those that have been absent lately, and hoping that they know they can return to us if they need us at any time, no questions asked

PINIONS, SMOLE, MUMINA..., NUTTY, OCTO, (AND ANYONE ELSE I'VE MISSED)...........

sorry, feeling soppy

LOL. My mum's like that too!

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/09/2007 21:42

joe was in bed
has taken to waking about now wanting milk, but isn't willing to wait around for let down, just whines and keeps taking head off, so viscious circle and let down doesn't happen

was that "now fed" or "not fed"?
Was dreading confessing to my mum that I'd taken CBS (CuteButStinky) out in the pushchair without the footmuff - she took the news quite calmly

StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2007 21:47

I thought you were going to bed Pillock!
Night SOL

AngeG · 13/09/2007 21:48

Don't think you need to worry Maveta, maybe as you say try different variables to see if it makes any difference

Sorry J is being a pain Ellie!

Also thinking of Vio and her family tomorrow.

stealth
I got your donation thank you.
I laughed about the nappy bin smell, we have that too. Maybe some of that treasured poopie has gone astray? Hopefully, if it has, our cat will eat it.

We'll have a think about what to do with any extra funds. If appropriate, there is a lady in NZealand who uses photos of babies to do a sketch of them, this helps if photos are not capable of bringing happy memories.

oh, oh aren't I the housewifey with the mostest- I just pureed sweet potato, carrots, corgettes, and parnips, all for that most precious of precious bottoms...

and..I even remembered to give DH loving cuddles and kisses, he was ecstatic at having so much attention.

I liked the idea of donating to the charity, plan to do that myself

OP posts:
mmk · 13/09/2007 21:52

sol don't seem to have it yet

StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2007 21:52

at the cat eating poo - I have a lot to learn
I thought we were donating the rest to DEBRA? Don't really have a problem either way, just wondered whether that was still an option?

mmk · 13/09/2007 21:57

yes, let's go with Debra, as originally suggested.

SOL sorry, my mistake, have received your donation

mmk · 13/09/2007 22:00

DebRA is the national charity working on behalf of people in the UK with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

Hey ladies, just a quick one before I turn in for the night, I am picking Vios family up from the hospice and taking them to the crem, the hospice is about an hour from here, so need to be away by 6, to get there for 7 to get back here for 9 for the service.

If I get chance I will mention to Vio about the rest of the money - my thoughts would be either Debra, or Robin House which is the hospice that they have been staying at.

She recieved the flowers this afternoon, and is very touched that you have all been so kind.

Night night

xxx

mmk · 13/09/2007 22:18

I'd like to suggest a moses basket for Robin House, it is so important for families to lay baby in something nice for photos.

PillockOfTheCommunity · 13/09/2007 22:20

night GMM, will be thinking of you and WO tomorrow too

OP posts:
mmk · 13/09/2007 22:21

Goerdie, our thoughts are with you all tomorrow.

Some believe that babies and children go to a garden when they leave us here. They get mended there, and spend time resting there, so they can still be with their mums if needed. Their mums don't always know the baby is with them, but they are. Then, when all is mended and done, off they go on their way.

If such a garden exists, our Jared will wait for James there, and show him the way.

weeonion · 13/09/2007 22:42

good evening folks.
As geordie has said - we are all getting ready for the morning. gmm has an earlier start than myself however.

i think your kind words and thoughts mean alot to vio at this time. she is being so strong at the moment, as she has been from jimjim was born. i know alot of you will be thinking of her in the morning as well.

i have to say that i know there has been some negativity on mumsnet in the recent past but the past couple of days have shown how much support and kindness there also is.
xoxo

mmk · 13/09/2007 22:45

so I guess you have all headed off to beddy byes? see you in the morning, and hope the sleep fairy visits all the babies tonight...

StealthPolarBear · 13/09/2007 22:47

good night
going to bed myself in a minute xx

mmk · 13/09/2007 22:52

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep
I am a thousand winds that blow
I am the diamond glints on snow
I am the sunlight on ripened grain
I am the gentle autumn rain.

When you awaken
in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds in circled flight
I am the soft stars that shine at night.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I did not die.
