Sorry, couldn't think of anything witty against a background of constant whinging!

That's impressive TA, you must be knackered!

DH is back, DD handed straight over! He bought me some ice cream and flowers to make up for lack of food so is back in good books.

Just popping into say hi quickly. DD calmed down a bit now after the 3rd poo of the day. We and watched Newlyweds re-runs!

Would love a meet up with alcohol but I would make a complete tit out of myself. I like to think I am bit of a Beyonce when I have been drinking, plus I talk loads!

Derlor hope things are better for you now.

Thanks for the piccie TA - can you see that the tops of DD's ears curl down slightly?!

LOL bumper...at you being Beyonce!

the way the C&W confessions are coming out, it'll be a meet up at the local line dancing club

Am off to bed as feeling very shitty all of a sudden, all achey and fluey.

I've promised DS we'll do something tomorrow so need to gather some strength for that. DH will forgive the mess in the house if I've done quality parenting with the lad!

G'night

sputnik · 30/08/2007 22:03

Great minds Daisy (me and Mystic Red Ranger that is)

bumperlicious · 30/08/2007 22:05

Hope you feel better daisy - sod DH and the house, he doesn't realise what it's like to have the DC's all the time.

DH is going to get a taste tomorrow as I have to go into work for a while. Bet the little minx is all sweetness and light for her daddy - grr!

night all, will try to drop in again soon x

bumperlicious · 30/08/2007 22:18

Don't you just love trashy tv?! I hardly ever watched it before DD but now I seem to spend my life watching endless location, location, location and friends re-runs!

Hi all. I am making the fatal mistake of starting a post before I've fully caught up. So I'll apologise now...

Trace, don't ever think you can't offload on here. I don't comment much for fear of saying the wrong thing. My sister went thru hell with her DD who was extremely prem and was in hosp ages and I never knew what to say to her either. Daisy was right with her earlier comment. Lots of love.

ha daisy - marriage certificate! I believe ours in incorrectly dated (ie, no year on registrars signature) but no-one ever gets around to sorting it out.

Bugger centreparcs. Penrith is on my wishlist for when DH goes back to work. If only I didn't have this travelling problem.

Right, am going to post this so far...

riabutterflew · 30/08/2007 22:26

I am probably here by myself but I don't care.

Andiem - I come back from shopping with pies and beer! That is why I have a fat arse..

glad about the flat bumper.

riabutterflew · 30/08/2007 22:47

bollocks, wish I'd waited with that last post.

As we now have some moneyy we have been fitting six weeks worth of fun into the last few days. The only trouble with that is DH wants to go "now" and doesn;t seem to realise that if beds aren't made and washing up not done it is still there for ME to do when we get back and I'm knackered. I hate going out and leaving a mess but can only cope with the sound of the engine for so long. (I was brought up by my mum...)

Happy birthday JMB

I iron most things. My MIL irons socks and towels - I am not that bad.

bumper. My MW in the early days described normal poo as mustard with cottage cheese in it {WTF} but maybe thats not what you normally get with your LO? Mine little poppet pooped today and it went all over my jeans and the sofa. What exactly are nappies for?

ebay = iron on labels daisy!
Re neglectful mummy - we left DS3 in the car tonight, having thought that the other had brought him in. I feel REALLY BAD. It's moments like that that condense my PND.

C&W - what about Conway Twitty? (Who? He is on a C&W compliation my Dad has. I LOVE Dolly!)

Kirsty & Phil were my favourite with DS2 as a baby. I watch it now too but love Trinny & Suzanna but sky have buggered up pur pckage and I can't get lifestyle. Will get DH on to it tomorrow.

Hope evreyone and their DHs feel better tomrrow.

Off to get pizza out of oven and drink more wine.

Will try to be here early enough to be involved tomorrow, bt DH wants to go to Mother Shiptons Cave...

BTW, went to the hairdressers todat. Got rid of the fat-old-hag haircut. It is not quite Sandra Bullock/Amanda Tapping - slightly Liza Tarbuck if anything (never mind, similar sense of humour..). DH keeps "looking at me". Oh hell..

loonylovegood · 30/08/2007 22:54

YES!! I just beat dp at Scrabulous!! Wicked!!

Ria, sounds like your sexy new do is gonna get you some action tonight! Have fun !

Off to bed with me, night all who are still up xxx

trendaverter · 31/08/2007 08:46

I am feeling veerryyy sleeeepy
DH drove over to see me last night, he left at 5am. I am tired!

Charlie999 · 31/08/2007 08:49

Been awake all night then TA?

trendaverter · 31/08/2007 08:54

Sort of... teething baby!
Sadly not a fun night of passion!
(Passion? What's passion? I only know vomit and calpol)

trendaverter · 31/08/2007 08:57

How are you today Charlie?

Charlie999 · 31/08/2007 08:59

Ahh poor you...and DS! I'm knackered this morning as well...think DD may be having a growth spurt as she was up at 1.30am (v unusual for her)

Must go and get some brekkie...sitting her reading all the really sad threads on MN...makes me feel very lucky for what I have

Charlie999 · 31/08/2007 08:59

oops x-post!

Charlie999 · 31/08/2007 09:00

when are you going home TA? Has DH finished the decorating yet?

daisyandbabybootoo · 31/08/2007 09:03

Morning you two.

I feel like shite this morning...temperature, aching all over, throat like sandpaper, that annoying am i aren't I going to sneeze feeling and acidic tast in my mouth....nice

I just want to crawl back in bed and sleep, but alas No...have a demanding 5 year old and a grumpy baby. I think DD has what I've got as well and she's been really fussy at the breast this morning and isn't feeding well at all.

Bleargh

trendaverter · 31/08/2007 09:03

I am going home on Sunday, he's still got loads to do poor sod. Was nice to see him yesterday though.

andiem · 31/08/2007 09:03

I agree TA what is passion. Lo only woke once last night so I woke up to large milky wet patch in the bed yeuk sort of puts a damper on passion somewhat when you smell like a dairy

Charlie how are u I am all tidied this morning so feel happy

trendaverter · 31/08/2007 09:05

Aw poor you Daisy

Charlie999 · 31/08/2007 09:08

Oh Daisy - sounds like you're coming down with something....quiet day with DVDs for DS? At least DH will be home later and can take over....have you got something you can take?

TA - by the time you get home it may all be done! God I hate decorating! We done the hall stairs and landing when I was 6 months pg. Thought it was a good idea at the time - done the nursery at the same time!

Andiem...I'm about to start my tidying...have made up bottles but dishwasher needs emptying. I have nothing to do today except housework and MN {grin]....oh and look after DD of course

loonylovegood · 31/08/2007 09:09

Oh dear daisy, not tonsilitis is it? It sounds just like it, you poor thing, I very much sympathise with you!
