faylisa · 30/08/2007 19:35

ow, you lot are talkative today - haven't been on for 24 hours nd there's too many posts to catch up on, so sorry if i've missed anything major.....

v jealous of jamantha's night out - i'd love to get pissed - i'd start with a huge gin and tonic

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 19:37

I feel it when I go out!

I need to put my heels on and kick them up

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 19:38

in a nice beer garden on a lovely warm evening to start, Faylisa.

Or a champagne cocktail in a nice bar (with comfy seats) and some interesting 'people watching'.

faylisa · 30/08/2007 19:40

mmmm champagne cocktails, in fact any kind of cocktails...... and then maybe a dance?

NattyThomasandEllen · 30/08/2007 19:41

im happy with a bottle on a bench.. but thats just me

NattyThomasandEllen · 30/08/2007 19:42

faylisa · 30/08/2007 19:44

once i'm pissed anything goes (still talking dancing!)

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 19:47

LOL! i dance like an aunty at a wedding - but will happily do so on a table, especially if tequila is involved!

faylisa · 30/08/2007 19:49

tequila! now you are talking......

faylisa · 30/08/2007 19:51

by the way i'm not an alchy... honest

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 19:51

Oh dear, oh dear, I fear another meet-up may be on the cards ...

NattyThomasandEllen · 30/08/2007 19:53

hey foxy it would be an adults meetup.. totally diff.. more of a pissup. LMAO!

faylisa · 30/08/2007 19:57

Surely you're not suggesting leaving DPs with lo's and drinking lots...? I'm in!

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 20:01

I'd get drunk, make a tit of myself and never be able to show my face on here again!

NattyThomasandEllen · 30/08/2007 20:03

well.. technically u dont show ur face n e way.

besides im always the one who is most embarrising dont worry i will out-tit you!

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 20:04

That sounds like a challenge Natty!

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 20:10

I'm off now, nite all!

BTW, proud mummy moment, lo laughed for the first time yesterday! Big chuckle at her brother in the bath yesterday. Awwww!

trendaverter · 30/08/2007 20:13

Bumper sometimes DS has poo like that depending on what formula he has had - it doesn't mean anything for him, but as your LO is BF maybe you have eaten something different? or could be poorly belly, would explain the screaming.

I have a nice pic of your DD I will send it to you (when I remember!)

Glad the photos were liked!

I am KNACKERED
Just cooked a dinner party, my back and feet are killing me, been cooking since 3pm

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 20:33

bumper, poorly tum in BF LO usually is very mucousy.....not sure about white bits? If you mean grainy then that's normal.

Where is Derlor when you need her.

I'm being a neglectful mummy again tonight, and managed to fool DS into thinking I'm being alpha mummy . He wanted a story but LO was fretting for over an hour and i'm done in, so I managed to convince him that it would be a really special treat to have an audio book instead, so he's quite happily listening to Charlie and the Chocolate factory...shame on me.

I meanwhile. should be running round doing all the chores that I didn't do during the day...ie folding of the laundry, but instead I'm here, enjoying a nice long gin and tonic

I am about to sew labels into school clothes though

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 20:34

are you having a dinner party tonight TA?

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 20:36

oh how I hate sewing labels on Daisy! Have to buy the trousers first though. Attempting shoes again tomorrow, but bribing with Pizza Hut lunch so hope it will be a success.

Of course, Clarks will have sold out of all their sizes by then, no doubt.

Why am I still here? I have nothing of interest to say. Aaaarrrggghhh!

derlor · 30/08/2007 20:56

hello, anyone around????

foxybrown · 30/08/2007 20:56

I am, but shouldn't be!

How are you doing?

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 20:57

foxy, you'll have no option but to get the ones with toys under the insole as that's all they'll have left!

i actually had a moan at the shop assistant about expecting more from Clarks...no-nonsense quality shoes rather than gimmicky cheap plastic tat ....

You know you're getting old when.....
