Bugger, can't keep up. Glad you had a good meet.
DH wants to do married talking stuff (he has been to the pub) tonight so can't even sit here posting to myself.
We are discussing depression - yipee. BTW he thinks you lot are responsible for keeping me on an even keel this time so thanks!

Will try to be here and on FB tomorrow,.

hi all, thank you for all your good wishers, i really do think they work! so not read all messages but with chloe still in hospital we are just popping home now and again.

i didnt put full thread up as i didnt not want every one to think i was pushing it on you alls, that way putting link up you had a choich if you wanted to read it.

sputnik thank you for the e mail,
daisy again thank you for asking if i need any thing , shame my family and mil dont help us out.

dh is off work hes so worried crying all the time, i think he may be on verve of a nevous break down, to top it off we now have money worrys with him not working.

anyway chloe had eeg probes put on yesterday for 24 hours taken of today, she only had a few staires while on it (upto now) so hopping its picking them up to find out whats happing with her, she is having sezures every day now some just little , but still very worring.

sorry about moaning but i need to get it all of my chest as can not realy chat to dh, hes having such an hard time

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 08:57

morning trace, I'm glad Chloe is a little better.

Please do not feel you are moaning or that we don't want to hear how thing are. We are here for you to moan at and to give you some virtual hugs. I'm sure i speak for everyone when I say that Chloe's story has touched all of us and we all just wish there was something we could say or do to take this all away and make things better for her.

I can imagine the strain that this is putting on your family, and feel for your poor DH. It's difficult for men I think as they don't relate to each other in the same way as women, and definately don't chat/find support from their friends as much....and if he's a real hard yorkshireman...well . Just give each other lots of hugs, and try to keep talking.

Keep us posted.

hugs....J xx

Derlor??????

And Happy Birthday to JustBeMe "happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you...."

Charlie999 · 30/08/2007 09:09

Morning

Trace - {{{{hugs}}}}. Sounds very difficult with DH and money etc without the worry of DD....hopefully if you can get some answers, it will help sort out the other issues.....when do you get results of yesterday's tests?

Is DS back today Daisy? Hope your increased dose of ADs kick in soon and you start feeling better.

God I'm knackered...spoke too soon about DD sleeping through....

Happy birthday JBM

bumperlicious · 30/08/2007 09:13

Thanks for the tips daisy, I think I am going to invest in some of those Silverette cups and see if they help.

Derlor - everything ok?Ria, glad your DH thinks your MN obsession is constructive - if only the rest of us can convince our husbands so...

Trace, just to reiterate what daisy said, come on here anytime and let us know how you are doing and just get it off your chest. We are all thinking of you xxxx

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 09:38

thanks charlie.....DS came back just before bedtime last night, tired and grumpy, but happy after a good day out.

Need to phone and speak to consultant regarding increasing dose of ADs. Must do that today.

got a huge list of to-dos today, which include getting to the PO to pick up passport forms for the DCs. We're off to Belgium in only 7 weeks so need to get them sent off. DS was registered with my surname at birth, but we want the passport in DHs name...which means finding our marriage certificate (which i have a funny feeling went the way of the bin )

I have visions of me sitting at the passport office in Liverpool for hours trying to sort this out. Don't even know where my passport is.

organisation isn't exactly my strong point!!

andiem · 30/08/2007 09:41

Dear Trace please feel you can off load to us at anythime. We are here for you to moan at and help if we can. Sorry your dh is so sad at the mo I think men find it harder as they don't talk about what they are feeling and then it all comes to a head.

Please look after yourself thnking of you and your family [hugs]

andiem · 30/08/2007 09:43

Daisy I need to get a passport for lo too will be fun getting the ephoto
I must go and have a shower lo only woke once in the night longest ever sleep maybe meeting all the others who sleep through yesterday gave him some sleep vibes

Charlie999 · 30/08/2007 09:58

in the bin ?? Sounds like you're going to have a bit of running around to do Daisy!

Are you going to Belgium by train? I went to Brussels for my 1st wedding anniversary and it was fab. We went on Eurostar and got to Brussels quicker than I can get to London by train

Charlie999 · 30/08/2007 09:59

You can get passport forms off the net - partially fill them in, then the passport office print them off and send them to you....well you could a couple of years ago anyway....

andiem · 30/08/2007 10:03

we are going to the brussels xmas markets on eurostar. I have never been on it and ds is really excited. Sounds good charlie what did you do in brussels? Probably not child focused activities

andiem · 30/08/2007 10:04

or maybe child conceiving activities

Charlie999 · 30/08/2007 10:08

No Andiem....not child related . We only had a few days so done all the touristy stuff and lots of shopping and eating . Trying to remember where we went...will have to get my book out..

We stayed in a 5* hotel (Conrad) which was FAB (even if we did look like a couple of pikeys compared to the rest of the clientele there)....Hotel Babylon reminds me of there....

Xmas markets sound good!

Jamantha · 30/08/2007 10:08

word of warning - we went to brussels and planned our big sightseeing and museum day for monday. guess what day everything closes?

Charlie999 · 30/08/2007 10:09

well.... practicing the conceiving bit

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 10:10

no, we're driving. We're off to a centreparc near the belgian/dutch border in the october hols.....inlcuding the overnight ferry, it's still cheaper than a week at a UK centreparcs .
one week in lake district=£1400
one week in Belgium 1000euros including bike hire for the week for three of us, ferry £350!!!

we're going from hull to rotterdam, and will only have three hours driving in total.

Can't wait and looking forward to the overnight ferry. It makes it a bit more of an adventure for DS!!

Charlie999 · 30/08/2007 10:12

Oh wow - sounds great ...well except the boat bit (I don't do boats so travel by le shuttle or eurostar)

£1400 for CentreParcs - that is taking the piss!!

trendaverter · 30/08/2007 10:15

I have added the pics from yesterday to the June mummies group

daisyandbabybootoo · 30/08/2007 11:05

isn't it charlie...the week before and the week after it's only about £700....and schools wonder why parents take their kids out of school to go away

sputnik · 30/08/2007 11:09

Wow, what a lot to catch up on...
Glad your meet up went well, looking forward to the pics. If anyone ever does a meet up in Bristol I could make it from my folks house, but I won't be over til xmas when everyone will probably be busy. I usually get to the UK 2 or 3 times a year though so it's a (remote) possibility for the future.

I can't blame you Holly for not being able to face the trip, I got the train yesterday with Baby Sputnik and had to lug the car seat and chassis up and down stairs in the heat, no fun at all. Then he pooed through his vest and onto my skirt. He had a change of clothes but i didn't. Anyway I don't think I could've faced it with DD is tow too.

We were then mad enough to go to Ikea, we have decided to put laminate (I know, I know) over our horrible tiled floor and they're doing 30% off. Anyway it was late at night, horribly hot and sweaty, DCs in the car initially sleeping then woke up and bawled. After dragging 300kg of laminate flooring down to the car park and doing my back in dH discovered he'd got about 1/3 too much and had to take it back up again. They refunded him for the full price instead of the discounted one, so we now have enough to buy some bookshelves - that cheered me up!

Anyway, I am a wreck today.

sputnik · 30/08/2007 11:29

Just checking out the pics, looks like you all had a great time, and a lovely place. I would give a lot to be in a lush green english garden right now (but i know it's only like that cos it's been raining solid for the past 3 months).

Daisy, sorry to hear the bf still isn't going too well, have you tried feeding in other positions, lying down, rugby hold etc?
