Sorry, couldn't think of anything witty against a background of constant whinging!

Hello all - back via the park / playground and the supermarket...exciting lives. Nice to meet you all and put some more names to faces - though I did get rather confused about who was who...

bumperlicious · 29/08/2007 17:26

We should have had namebadges BZ! It's one thing remembering everyone's MN names and histories then learning all your RL ones, and your DCs!

Bless your DH for coming along and taking care of Ella, he seems really nice and chilled.

I loved your bike, what was the attachment called? Was it expensive and did you have both DDs in it?

ikwym bumper...it's too bloody time consuming and annoying. i just click randomly and i can never get back to where i've been before!

BadZelda · 29/08/2007 17:31

Yes - namebadges would have been cool.

BadZelda · 29/08/2007 17:39

www.flickr.com/photos/silverfox09/1096905554/ is a picture of it - it's basically a tricycle with a big box on the front that can carry 100kg.

BadZelda · 29/08/2007 17:41

Bitg too big for me to ride though. I could get a fancier one for about two grand that I could ride...but I'm not as obsessed with bikes as DH ;)

Jamantha · 29/08/2007 18:18

bumper - if you're doing a mini meet up in swindon i could certainly make that if i'd be welcome, and could probably do bristol too (or bath if that's any good for others?)

loonylovegood · 29/08/2007 18:20

Glad everyone had a good time, I'm really sad I couldn't come, but it would have just been too much.

I can prob get to Bristol for a meet up bumper, my godmother lives there, so I can stay with her anytime. Maybe we should arrange something soon.

trendaverter · 29/08/2007 18:45

No worries Holly!
If I had to deal with what you did I would have said no too!
Did you have a nice time at the shops?

Hi everyone lo just gone down and ds playing in the garden.

Lovely to meet up today can't wait to see the pics

ds enjoyed walking with beasts but tbh was a bit of a rip off as cost 7 squid and we were round in 5 mins you could watch lots of videos but at his age they need soemthing a bit more hands on never mind he enjoyed it

Daisy hope your house is sparkling

trendaverter · 29/08/2007 19:21

I didn't take too many I'm afraid - Charlie did you get many?

bumperlicious · 29/08/2007 19:32

jamantha that would be great. i didn't realise you were close by, TA & i have already met in swindon & plan to do so again. So, who could do Bristol?

OP posts:
Jamantha · 29/08/2007 19:40

Yes I can definitely get to Bristol without any bother (I'm in Oxfordshire)

foxybrown · 29/08/2007 19:41

Good to hear everyone had a lovely meet up. Am I didn't make it, but it would have been too much today. Needed a day off, not that I got one (am feeling sorry for myself, obviously).

I'll be at the next one for sure though!

andiem · 29/08/2007 19:43

aahh foxy we missed you but I know what you mean about having a day off sometimes I just need to veg on the sofa with lo and let ds do his own thing. Mind you I don't have 4

Charlie999 · 29/08/2007 19:47

Didn't get many I'm afraid - 3 actually - I'll go and put them on FB now in the June Group - next time - everyone will have to pose! Hopefully yours are a bit better TA!

BadZelda · 29/08/2007 20:03

I'm sad you couldn't come too Holly - would have loved to have met you.

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 20:27

my house, sparkling....you;re having a larf aren't you?

babyboo is having a growth spurt and i've been trapped on the sofa all day!!!!!!

she has fed every 1.5 hours for 30-40 mins each time and only catnapped in between. my poor nips look like they've been rubbed with sandpaper, and i haven't felt so hungry....ever.

she's sleeping now, but i'm worried that as soon as i put her down she'll wake up again and want more.

annobal · 29/08/2007 20:34

Daisy, DS has been the same today. However he's now fast asleep (DH had to wake me up as I'd fallen asleep for an hour feeding him).

Glad you all had a great meet up. we couldn't make it. 6 week check was a bit of a waste of time - did have a good gossip with the doctor though (and she checked DS1's face and said that it shouldn't scar).

Foxy, being Jessie generally consists of me yelling 'yeehaw' and 'go find woody'. DS3 is bullseye - luckily bullseye doesn't do anything . You feeling any better?

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 20:37

aaaaarrrrrrggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhh....she just fed for 30 mins, slept for 15 and is awake again and cramming her fist in her gob and making those little hehehe noises that mean she's starving.

she's also had four poos today so it seems it's going in one end and out of the other!

annobal · 29/08/2007 20:40

DH has brought me home an iced bun - YUM

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 21:34

Where did everybody go????

finally dd is asleep.....and i'm wrung out.

MH nurse thinks i need to up my dose of ADs.

but she gave me some useful tips for dealing with DSs behaviour and working on his anger issues.
