AARRGGHH! I'm still here.

Not going to make the meet-up, am tired and just not feeling chirpy and sociable if I'm being honest.

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 12:18

wher are texere...bradford?

god my nipples hurt! now i've got the thrush sorted out dd is feeding much better, but her suck has got back to full strength and my poor nips are taking a serious battering again. her positioning is bad as well. i get her latched on nicely but as soon as i try to relax into the feed, she thrashes around till she's where she wants to be, but its not right and it hurts. doesn't matter how many times i re-latch, she does it every time.

does this ever get any easier.

i'm still waiting for my moment of serenity..

...and thinking of giving up.

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 12:23

just googled texere......i used to work around the corner from them about 9 years ago.....[dufus emoticon]

i think if i bought more yarn DH would divorce me!! i'm not allowed any more till i actually finish a project!

he's just miffed cos he spent £60 on guernset wool so i could knit him a traditional east coast fishing guernsey, but it was on four needles and i couldn't get the hang of it. i'm thinking it would be lovely wool for wraps, but is dark blue!

annobal · 29/08/2007 13:12

i know what you mean, foxy. I'm feeling much the same way. i think ds3 is having another growth spurt as he wants to feed constantly hence i have none

oh, and our rats are back

we're moving

foxybrown · 29/08/2007 13:24

OH NO! Thats awful Annobal. Are the coucil helping get rid of them?

I think we've spent the holiday doing so much so the kids enjoy it, we are exhausted!

We've had a lovely 6 weeks though.

annobal · 29/08/2007 13:48

I've left it with the agent and mentioned the words 'health and safety' and 'new baby' so hopefully that should make them do something quickly.

Think that is our problem today too Foxy - we're all just knackered. I've finally got DS3 to sleep so he will give me a little break from feeding. That and DS1's face looking like he's been dragged along behind a car . Don't think I'd be very good company at Horniman's today.

foxybrown · 29/08/2007 13:50

you should come over here! we can be miserable together and start on the cooking sherry!

but i bet just getting in the car seems like a massive effort for you as it does for me!

annobal · 29/08/2007 13:54

LOL Foxy - I'm going to the drs this afternoon for 6 week check which is just down the road and seems like such a HUGE effort. Here's a large G&T

foxybrown · 29/08/2007 13:57

oh, thats just something else i need to do.

FFS, now I have to be Elastagirl.

LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

annobal · 29/08/2007 14:01

She is pretty cool! Way cooler than Jessie (who I have been all morning)

Oh bugger - now ds2 has wandered off with an orange - just another thing I'll have to clear up!!

foxybrown · 29/08/2007 14:11

Tell me you didn't actually do anything to be Jessie? Cos me being Elastagirl involves me saying "Will you GO AWAY and find Dash and Mr Incredible then?" in a very cranky manner.
God, I'm a grumpy cow today.

Have been on here all morning too. With crap daytime TV on.

faylisa · 29/08/2007 16:17

Just caught up on the thread - sorry for the people who wanted to come but didn't make it this time - I'm sure we'll meet up again soon and hopefully you can come then.

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 16:18

i've joined the lifestyle thread as well dg.....i will stalk you if you waver from it and hopefully you'll do likewise!

i've barely moved from the sofa today....dd has been cluster feeding all day....so i need to do something.

i sit in the middle of the sofa usually and i'm becoming aware that my arse is expanding sideways to meet the arms...and tis a long sofa!!

glad you had a nice day faylisa

Charlie999 · 29/08/2007 16:19

Holly what stations in the south west area could you get to easily? What about swindon or bristol? You, ta and me could do a mini meet up (and Seansgirl if she could make it that far).

daisyandbabybootoo · 29/08/2007 17:17

lol bumper, or should i say anne nonimous! I think i "ignored" your friend request (thought you were just some random stranger or facebook moderator or something when i saw others had added you as a friend!!)...didn't realise it was you, but do you realise that your e-mail address is available for all to see! That's how i twigged who are. You need to click on the drop down menu and only make it visible to your friends!

bumperlicious · 29/08/2007 17:21
