Creating a thread for graduates of the October pregnancy thread. Hoping to see some familiar names, but also welcome new ones who want to chat about how their newborns are getting on.
Thought I’d tag a few other people who might want to come over. Feel free to tag others - no offence if I missed people; I have baby brain!

I hear you on those anxieties @Frizzy1986. I’m generally ok all day keeping busy. Then, when I’m up at night feeding ds I get all upset about the what if’s.

Great that ds is eating better @Dee123456. We started weaning a few days ago and it’s going so well. It’s lovely to see them enjoying new things.

I hope everyone is ok. I feel a bit sad that all my lovely 1:1 baby time has gone. My husband is working from home & the other 2 kids are out of school. I just miss the quiet snuggles. Not a massive deal in the big scheme of things, and , of course, the most important thing is that we are all healthy, but my maternity bubble has well and truly burst.

@Dee123456 @cattaxi that's good that things are going well with weaning. Ds really doesn't care. He basically plays and throws it to the dog. Yet another thing for me to worry about at this time. I'm getting through it by eating a lot which is not good.

cattaxi · 29/03/2020 22:16

Ahhh don’t worry @frizzy1986 - they are still very little yet. Ds1 sounds very much like your ds. It took him a good while to get the hang of it. And I bet the dog loves it!
I am also a stress eater. I’ve been doing loads of long & fast walks with the carrier to try to shift some weight. No chance of anything more than a snails pace now ds1 is off school & must stop to look at everything 😬

Hey hope everyone is doing well and staying safe Smile.

Looking for some advice from anyone bottle feeding, my ds was doing well and only getting up once during the night but has now started getting up some nights every 2 hours again Confused it's so exhausting especially with having to do homeschooling with my other ds. He is having solids at 7:30am,12pm and 5pm. I have kept him on stage 1 milk, has anyone changed to follow on milk and did they see a difference? My hv told me there was no point in changing but u can't always believe what they say Smile.

Hey @SC0508 this popped up on my threads and I thought I’d say hi
How are you getting on?
Can’t offer any milk help, sorry. Still bf’ing here. Is he getting up from hunger, or something else maybe? Ds has had a few unsettled nights that look like teething.
I hope you and the rest of the October crew are well?
What bonkers times our babies were born into! It’s hard to believe how much the world has changed in a few months.
Ds is doing great. Loving having everyone home for lockdown. Spends all day laughing at his big bro. We stared food at 5.5 months and he appears to have found his calling! I’m struggling to keep up with his appetite.
Currently trying to go from 3 to 2 naps, which is a bit of a struggle.
I hope you get your nights sorted x
