Just posting before I catch up to say ECA got Izzy and Jake's passports back today...I only sent them off last Thursday

eca · 09/08/2007 20:48

wowee Ange, that's good news. Hopefully wont have to do a mad dash to the passport office then. Are you going anywhere nice??

normabutty · 09/08/2007 20:56

Evening all, dh still not back from cinema but i managed to get tea etc.

JoMa, I've thought about the xmas meet up but once I've firgured in trains and somewhere to stay it's just too pricey unless dh decides we could go to his parents around it to swap xmas pressies iyswim.

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:03

Katy - Hope you and T are ok?

Emmy - Glad Mortgage was sorted out ok. Yeah to MIL helping out with DDs.

Luce - Glad your Aunt is feeling better.

FF - So glad that it went ok today. Hope you and Ernie are feeling better soon. As others have said i'm sure bf will come back. Don't beat yourself up about it, you've been through a very stressful time.

Oooggs - well done for sticking to your guns about ds1 bed time routine.

JoMa - Hope it goes ok with your sister staying. Fantastic that you've managed to come to an arrangement with your boss about the nursery fees.

We've had fab weather today. Went to a small farm this morning, then soft play this afternoon and then out for a meal at a pub on the sea front this evening. It's been a really lovely day.

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:06

Eca - Not going anywhere til October then to Spain for 11 days. The inlaws live out there so we are renting an apartment on their complex. Portugal sounds lovely.

Nutty - Well done for sorting yourself tea and Erin out. I always dread evenings when Dh isn't here.

Sexonlegs · 09/08/2007 21:13

Hi ladies

Katy, hope you and T are ok. Hopefully it will go as quickly as it came iyswim.

FF, really glad the funeral went well, and you have closure. Sorry tho to hear that you an Ernie are still poorly.

Eca, hope you get the passport sorted. As long as you don't get someone with sausage fingers typing the address leabel, you should be fine!!!

JoMa, I am delighted that your job is going so well. Long may it continue.

Ange, your day sounds great fun. Was it Manor Farm?

Elkie, your holiday sounds fabulous!

Luce, terrible news about your aunt. Hope she is ok.

Not much going on here. For the first time ever, K didn't settle tonight after I put her down, so ended up giving her a bit more milk and put a drop of Calpol in with it [naughty mummy]! I am now stressing that we may have a crap night - I HATE BEING SUCH A WORRIER!!!

Hope everyone else is ok. xx

Sexonlegs · 09/08/2007 21:14

Sausage fingers - I can talk!!

happimummy · 09/08/2007 21:18

ok, thought I'd try a bit of a name change for a while!

It's eca BTW

ps. checked for mn person happymummy and they have never posted , so should be safe!!

happimummy · 09/08/2007 21:20

sol, surely the calpol will make for a good night Fingers crossed

bumble75 · 09/08/2007 21:21

Evening all,

Katy hope you and T are feeling better soon, is pants to be sick

FF - am glad today went well, it really helps to be able to say a lovely goodbye. Hope your back and Ernie's ears are better soon

SOL - hope your leg is better soon

Luce - am glad your Aunt is doing ok

JoMa - that's great news about your job!

Norma - well done on doing tea, etc by yourself!

Elkie - your holiday sounds fab, I would be but am spending Dec in Australia so probably shouldn't be!

Hi to everyone else!

Very sore bottom this morning after landing on it in my stair fall - ouch! Good news - my pre-pregnant jeans do up, bad news - I can't breathe when they are done up and have massive muffin top . So went and bought same pair of jeans (£10 in New Look - bargain) in one size up and can breathe and have much smaller muffin top cunningly hidden by two smock-ish tops (£6 each - more bargains).

We are going away tomorrow to stay with friends in Burton on Trent. Haven't thought about packing yet... just going to throw everything in car and hope for the best!

oooggs · 09/08/2007 21:22

I feel sick..........

just eaten half a tub of Cadbury Dairy Milk icecream with caramel

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:30

Hi SOl No it was Staunton Country Park...haven't been to manor farm for ages, I always forget about it. Hope K sleeps ok tonight.

Good name change Eca/happimummy.

bumble - hope bottom is better soon. Hope you have a good time with your friends.

Oooggs - Pmsl, just the sort of thing I do, then wonder why I don't lose any weight

happimummy · 09/08/2007 21:33

hey bumble - lol at jeans saga!

oooggs - mmmm.... icecream....

bumble75 · 09/08/2007 21:35

Thanks Ange, I am also prone to ice cream binges so bottom has ample padding and am sure will recover soon!

No ice cream here but wine and no dh to fight with for remote control...

Sweet dreams all
xx

geordiemacminx · 09/08/2007 21:39

Hey ladies.

Hugs to all the poorly ones.

Pleased the funeral went ok ff.

Anyone watching britains youngest brides??? ROFL!!!!

Oh anyone who hasnt seen looks like misdee's husband may be getting a heart tonight!! fingers crossed!!!

Sexonlegs · 09/08/2007 21:41

Bumble, pmsl at the jeans scenario. Very descriptive!

Ooogs, not surprised you feel sick!!

Eca, love the new name. I am hoping the Calpol does the trick. Normally K finds her thumb or fingers and drops off on her own. I wonder if she was just hot and bothered.

Ange, where is Staunton Country Park then. I have never heard of it.

elkiedee · 09/08/2007 21:43

JoMa, I'm relieved and pleased to see you back with some good news about the job and the nursery fees. That's a shame about Justin's parents but they should be able to understand that you need to take good care of your older son as well.

Eca, I also got D's passport back within 8 working days of handing in the application. I did use Check and Send as they then use Special Delivery and because there are so many things to check, plus I really can't guess whether my photos are ok on my own.

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:44

Hi GMM - Thanks fantastic news for Misdee's DH. Fingers crossed here as well.

SOL - It is out Havant/Waterlooville way. My parents live out that way and mum has a season ticket for J so only has to pay £5.50 for me. J loves looking at the animals. They had baby rabbits and piglets today...almost made me broody again.

On that subject...I haven't had any bleeding since my smear 5 weeks ago...do you think it's cos I'm bf or should I do a test? Don't think I'm pg, but a little concerned.

Sexonlegs · 09/08/2007 21:46

I used Check and Send as well, and they didn't pick up on the fact that the person who I chose as the counter signature was not suitable - they are an administrator, and it needs to be a professional. Do you think that is something they should have picked up on?

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:46

Happimummy - Elkie just reminded me I also used check and send.

Sexonlegs · 09/08/2007 21:47

Oh blimey Ange!! Do a test - we need some excitement.

GMM, thanks for the news re Misdees dh. Fingers crossed.

geordiemacminx · 09/08/2007 21:48

Ange, I had first period at 6 weeks, and didnt have another one til this week, so 13 weeks.. Although I have to admit I was a bit paranoid

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:48

SOl - I would have thought they should have picked up on it. Although they told me they couldn't guarantee the photos would be accepted.

AngeG · 09/08/2007 21:49

Thanks GMM you've made me feel a bit better. Did you do a test?

Sexonlegs · 09/08/2007 21:52

They said they couldn't guarantee the photos also, which is fair enough. I had to re-submit the application with a new counter signature. I didn't send it Check and Send second time around!!
