All children are different, Luce - I know lots of little boys (and a couple of girls!) who were well over 3 before they mastered toilet training - Don't stress, don't make a big deal of it - it will happen - He won't still be in nappies going to school, I assure you! Perhaps just sick him back in nappies and wait til he says he is ready!!!? >

Hi bumble!

Hello all, welcome balletmum

Have just caught up...but can remember sod all.

Izzy had her 3rd lot of jabs yesterday and has been pretty unsettled today...doesn't seem to want to feed very much, bit worried we're going to have a long night

I've had a busy day at work today, only just got home...had to pick Jake up from pre-school at 3.30pm and then go back into work to finish off.

Hope everyone ok.

toilet vibes coming your way Luce - ds1 (dec 03) started in April when he was 2.4 - far too early, just now getting more than 1 dry day in a row - have had 6 in the last week . We were having 6 accidents a day just after dts were born

It is really hard not to be cross - take it from me

Hello

Norma, Captain Dippy, LuceWheel

Luce - Here there now take them at nursery/pre-school even if they are not potty trained.

normabutty · 07/08/2007 17:22

Hi Ange, sorry you've had a hard day at work.

Luce - good luck with the potty training.

normabutty · 07/08/2007 17:22

Any update on the nursery fees, JoMa?

Men......DH forgot to take tea out of the freezer. Have told him to buy some stir fry stuff on the way home.

CaptainDippy · 07/08/2007 17:26

I don't think nurserys are allowed to stipulate that any more, Luce - you should check up with them - My friend was having a lot of probs training her little boy & in the end, she just sent him to nursery in pants, even though he was mostly having accidents and not going to the toilet .... he was trained in a week! Guess it was a combo of having different people "training" you & watching the other boys & girls doing it ..... don't worry ... either way, it will be fine ..... my DD was 2.8 yrs when we started her and she has only just stopped having one or two accidents a day, she is 3.5 yrs now, it has been a long old haul. Nursery didn't mind, as long as I sent her with a good supply of trousers and pants.

Hope Izzy settles well tonight and doesn't give you a bad night, Ange hon. xx

normabutty · 07/08/2007 17:26

for you then!

oooggs · 07/08/2007 17:26

I'm bored and stuffing my face with digestives...

CaptainDippy · 07/08/2007 17:41

Choc ones??

CaptainDippy · 07/08/2007 17:42

Do you think that I should be worried that P appears to be loosing all her hair apart from a great big tuft right on top??

normabutty · 07/08/2007 17:44

Yes...and no.

CaptainDippy · 07/08/2007 17:44

The word parakeet springs to mind.
