Oh and I'm away till minimum Sunday night now, so have fun all

Jas yay for passports!

FlameBatfink · 11/08/2007 11:05

Spots aren't doing much, so am assuming they are weirdy bites.

CantSleepWontSleep · 11/08/2007 12:35

Ooh - now I've re-read your description of the spots, I have had 2 of those on my arm since Monday. Bloody itchy. No idea what's caused them, but parents keep telling me that apparently mozzies are invading the UK .

2boysmacca · 11/08/2007 19:18

Oh you've all been chatting too much, i can't read everything! Spotted Dame's post, it seems very familiar to me, when I get stressed I have weird blackouts which is not helped by the fact I had childhood epilepsy.

Hi to newbies

Still in London, back tomorrow. just needed to post to get you all back on my list!

Phoenix · 11/08/2007 20:16

We had a lovely day in Scarborough yesterday. Lew loved it on the beach and in the sea. (There's a few pics on my Facebook for anyone who's got me) We also went to my auntie's house on the way home as she was having a BBQ and my cousins little girl (age 2.3) was holding his hand and dragging him all round the garden saying "come on Lew Lew" it was so cute

Jas · 11/08/2007 20:36

Why didn't I think of facebook. It has taken me ages to put three pics on my profile of us having fun on bikes today.

I've read everything but forgotten it all since my last post. We went to a free fun day today, intending to just drop in on our way somewhere else, and it really was fun We stayed 6 hours and didn't make it to our intended destination at all.
The whole event was really badly publicised so it was really quiet and we got to do all the activities without queues. I'm shattered now though. I spent ages riding funky bikes round in circles.

Fab photos both of you .

I've been around loads today, whilst mum played with dd in the garden, and no-one was around to talk to!

CantSleepWontSleep · 12/08/2007 08:55

Blimey - have you started another thread and forgotten to tell me about it?!

Off to Sea Life thingummy today, and going out for dinner with a friend tonight, but will hopefully manage to pop on in between, to see all the messages that haven't been posted .

Jas · 12/08/2007 08:59

I'm here

I really did go to bed early last night, but have nothing planned today, so I will pop in regularly and update you on my exciting day of laundry and shopping, just to give you something to read csws.

FlameBatfink · 12/08/2007 10:28

Sorry - been on and off but not really chatting this weekend.

Just had a call from DH's dad - his sister's kids have finally been put into his mum's full custoday after the youngest was found wandering the streets naked whilst DH's sister slept on the sofa. I don't know how much better off they will be with his mum though tbh. How much more damage will be done until they are put into somewhere stable.

Jas · 12/08/2007 18:13

I've cooked, eaten and bathed.
More cleaning, then bed.

Oh I love weekends

I'm home. had a lovely lovely week with the in-laws. Managed to see friends on 4 different nights . Boys had such fun. Dare I admit I really miss London?? and really miss working

Back to reality this week, cooking cleaning and dh back at 8 rather than 6.45 (oh and leaving at 6.30 rather than 8).

Sigh

2boysmacca · 12/08/2007 21:12

oops

Frizbe · 12/08/2007 21:48

Macca? surely no one really misses London?
Flame for those kids....
Dh has odd spots at the mo too?! just red lumps though?
CSWS for sealife, was it the one in Brum?
Jas at your riding in circles, sounds fun, what kinda odd bikes then?

Ah lovely weekend had here, although yesterday was mainly work during the day, we hashed out everything that should be happening at next weeks event so everyone is sorted happier and singing off the same sheet, hurrah! Got a few glasses of wine down me and then slept till 9.30am this morning with dh! who always gets out of bed early and didn't, hurrah!! no kids to get us up! we left my friends at 12ish and went into oxford for 2hrs before heading home, managed to get coffee in borders and peruse books without interupption bliss

Frizbe · 12/08/2007 21:49

MRM what do you have to say about this? www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1375&threadid=370572

Jas · 13/08/2007 06:55

Frizbe - pic on my profile of me on a minipenny farthing, and a 7seat circular contraption
I spent ages on a giant tricycle, with a toddler trailer thing attached which looked so easy but I just couldn't ride I did it eventually, but did go through a phase of running over the feet of the man who was helping me, quite a few times first. Luckily no pics (my friend was laughing too much to hold the camera still)

Started the day with a lecture about car security from dp which resulted in me hanging up the phone on him.
Oh well I'm going out ina bit so things might pick up later.

Jas, is that your dd1 on the trike?
Boo for your dh, like you don't know how to keep the car safe

Hmmm not sure what happening here today, have lots of work I should be getting on with just trying to rally myself! May possibly be going to visit friend with new baby? must go and make another cuppa tea.

Jas · 13/08/2007 09:35

No, it is dd2

(I left my purse in the car last night, which is why I was being lectured. Obviously I did it on purpose because I enjoy being told off like a two year old)

Oh, well. Swimming is done. I'm going top make a picnic and go out for the day.
