Good title

Heroes is Frizbe not me

I have one heck of a tantrum thrower. This week, ds2 has turned evil. He just keeps throwing wobbler after wobbler and screams when he's put to bed at night. There is such a sudden change in him I'm thinking he might be ill. Dh was shocked and rather (nay extremely) stressed when he had him this morning.

damewashalot · 15/09/2007 21:06

It would be frizbe she is my twin after all

Hey frizbe "Save the cheerleader, save the world!"

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/09/2007 21:07

Oh definitely a stroppy small person here dame. I see it's this week you're off to see Joseph. Just a touch excited eh?

Are the rest of your dc coming on in leaps and bounds with their language btw? DD has increased her vocab to about 70 words or so over the last couple of weeks (we've started making a list of them ), and does simple 2 - 4 word sentences (want it off, all done mummy, where's nanny, where's the dog etc).

Ooh - one other thing I was excited to see her do on the train today. She was playing in the luggage rack, and held the bars above her head, lifted her legs up, and swung, supporting her whole body weight. Have the rest of yours been doing this for ages, or was I right to be excited ?

2boysmacca · 15/09/2007 21:07

?

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/09/2007 21:08

Who's that to?

Jas · 15/09/2007 21:11

csws are you sure your dd is only 19 moths old?

DD2 struggles with hanging from monkey bars and she is 7 this month.
As for language....ds still says no and mummy alot
Does "ready steady go" count as a three word sentence?

2boysmacca · 15/09/2007 21:11

Ds2 does that, at the top of the slide. It scares the life out of me

Speech pretty crap here, but then he is child no. 2 so he barely has a chance to get a word in edgeways! Ds was far more advanced and could hold a basic conversation at this age, much like yor dd csws

2boysmacca · 15/09/2007 21:13

? was to Dame

Ds2 says 'ready steady go" but in his own style, "ehy, ehy, ooo"

Jas · 15/09/2007 21:15

Yes, ready steady go is what he is saying...it just sounds like deddy deddy do most of the time

Maybe his total lack of language is because he is the third then. DD2 was definitely speaking in sentances by 18 months, though. I was blaming it on him being a boy.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/09/2007 21:16

Oh yes, I reckon ready steady go definitely counts as a sentence .

Glad I was right to be excited . Obviously she gets her athleticism from her mother .

Right, am going to go and get ready for bed now. Night all.

2boysmacca · 15/09/2007 21:17

Nope, 2nd/3rd/4th child syndrome. i didn't say a word until I was 2.5. Made up for it since though

mustrunmore · 15/09/2007 21:22

Well, I'm not even going to mention ds2's speech; Jas knows what I mean!

Flame.. stop.. dont post... I'll send you friends address and you can post straight to her, as it might be a few weeks before she comes this way again. Maca, I think ds2's current shoes are the same as those ones actually!

Er, we have house of illness, all except dh. And I have my 5km in Hyde Park tomorrow

Hello csws

damewashalot · 15/09/2007 21:26

Sorry macca you need to watch Heroes to have a clue what I meant unless it was the twin bit that threw you? we are same age, were due on same day with our due in feb but came in march babes, gave birth on same day 5days late, um LOs both have tongue tie and other odd things that make us twins

Lots of words here that I can understand, a few that others can but being a third one doesn't get much chance.

As for lifting herself up like that..... is all I can say, a gymnast in the making?

Sad isn't it but we so rarely do stuff on our own I'm as excited about a day in London with dh as I am about seeing Joseph if that makes sense? We last did this nearly 10 yrs ago before children.

Frizbe · 15/09/2007 21:39

Hi Twinny are you watching it then? I have it lurking in the background bounce, bounce, the rest of you really should get into it! its great! (oooh tigger theme there....)
See it's not just MRM and Flame who were seperated at birth

I think the next title should be,'whose trainers were they anyway!' as you totally lost me with the passing of them!
Flame your right, I don't think dd2 would be too chuffed with them

Feeling stuffed here, made and have eaten some of Nigellas White Chocolate cake today (did it for dh's birthday cake) [puffed up emoticon]

Welcome back CSWS, even if you have gone to bed! dd2 here does hanging, dd1 oh so didn't, but your dd's speech is way ahead of mine, (dd1 wasn't that quick either) we're on mainly one word still, with the odd two worder thrown in like 'hiya daddy'

damewashalot · 15/09/2007 21:44

I like it frizbe as it's different, but then I like lost and buffy and that sort of stuff so right up my street really. How's dh doing?

Frizbe · 15/09/2007 22:03

He's ok for someone who had an op on his nuts a day ago He's happiest lying down, his bro came round today and apparently the survey said, their cousin had a bigger bruise after having his done! Hoping he feels lots better tomorrow!

damewashalot · 15/09/2007 22:17

So if your dh has been snipped there's not much chance of having you as a bump buddy again if common sense doesn't prevail here then?

Think I'm off to bed with my book as dh is off eating curry at stag night.

Frizbe · 15/09/2007 22:23

I shall be trying to avoid being a bump buddy, unless he's one of the 1 in 7000 that it doesn't work for
Night hon, going that way myself too soon.

Flamesparrow · 15/09/2007 22:26

DS prefers throwing himself off things to hanging

I think DH is still sulking because I yelled at him... He's gone to bed.

KelBelle · 16/09/2007 00:51

Hi Ladies

at hanging Pippa!!! Definately a gymnast in the making!!!

Well I have had a DATE this week!!!! I met a guy in the pub last Thursday called Richard, he is a contracts manager for a kitchen company and he asked me out. I decided to go and he took me out for dinner on Wed even, it was really nice, we are going to see a film tomorrow too. Will see if it goes anywhere!! He seems quite keen, sent me a massive bouquet of flowers on Thursday evening to thank me for a lovely evening

My mum is poorly in hospital this week too, hence me not being on here a lot. She has had very low blood pressure and a chest infection although she seems to be better today.

DS is talking loads now, he repeats most words I say at the end of a sentence. He still doesnt eat enough but he is quite advanced with chatting away.

Chloe and CSWS, glad you both had good holidays. Phoenix, hope you are enjoying yours!!!

Flame- yay for new nappy stocks!!!

Right off to sleep now, it has taken me over an hour to catch up with ya all!!

Night night
xxx

2boysmacca · 16/09/2007 08:21

Morning! Just popped on to wish you well for your run MRM. I've just done 6 miles and I'm off for a shower when the boys have cleared the bathroom!

mustrunmore · 16/09/2007 09:01

Ah, thanks macca I'm not feeling very positive, as I 've got the boys' stinknig cold and had 4 hours sleep So I'm going forthe doing-it-for-the-fun-of-it approach, as thats the best I can hope for!

Jas · 16/09/2007 09:07

I hope you enjoy it mrm

Frizbe · 16/09/2007 11:55

Have a great run MRM I shall think of you whilst sitting on my fat butt drinking cups of tea

Flame is dh in a better mood? are you?

Jas has dh been at home doing 'work' all weekend then?

So what's everyone upto today?

We all bounced into dh this am and gave him lots of nice presents, including a wii, which he can't currently use but sure it'll get a good hammering once he's on his feet again!

Off to grandads today, as its his birthdya tomorrow, so more celebrations over there

Flamesparrow · 16/09/2007 12:58

Good luck MRM!

Much better mood today , as is DH by the sounds of it.

Yay for the wii - what games d'ya get?? The sonic one and the brain academy one are great group party type games. DD is disturbingly good at sonic
