Right my mate has left and I'm off to bed, was lovely to see him and catch up but I'm soooo tired.

Flame - I havent seen my "friend" for a few weeks as he peed me off. He told me he wanted a relationship with me but text my best mate and said he wanted to sleep with her and not to tell me whilst also shagging a third person think I'm better off single!!!

CSWS - I think you should come home too if things dont settle down, hope you managed to get some peace and quiet with you book!!

Jas · 10/08/2007 00:01

"Friend"s like that you can do without, Kel. At least your best mate was decent and told on him.

Still waiting for news. Even dp (anti mumsnet to the extreme at times) asked if there was any news yet.

Too much wine. I'm repeating myself.

damewashalot · 10/08/2007 08:09

Anyone around?

I haven't fallen off the face of the earth honest just everythings a bit crazy of late, plus boys at home. Have been spending most of my computer time ebaying but do have a lovey long dress and skirt and hopefully some hats for my children to show for it Just don't seem to get on here

Hope you are all ok and how was the drinking?

Had MRI last week got to go to GP next week if I manage to make appointment

FlameBatfink · 10/08/2007 08:17

Bastard!

Not refreshed, so sorry if this has been posted since I clicked... The heart was showing early signs of disease

FlameBatfink · 10/08/2007 08:42

So DD has a spot on her chin and cheek... they were dots yesterday, now raised, red with a teeny clear centre - sounding ominous to anyone else?

Have you had anything at all back from the MRI or is this appointment the results?

OP posts:
damewashalot · 10/08/2007 09:08

OOOh the pox!

Is to get results, which I expect to be nothing to see what can it be???
Have a feeling it's my body's way of dealing with stress, I can't get depressed, the boys can't have 2 depressed parents at once, so my body creates a physical illness to channel all of the crap that's inside me About 10yrs ago I had a few kidney infections and then pain that carried on for months but they never found the cause, I had just had a marriage fall apart and a miscarriage of a baby I really didn't want so lots of guilt issues there as I felt it was my fault, that I had willed it out of me and I was generaly screwed up. BTW I did deal with this and it's very much history before you all leap to tell me i wasn't my fault
Things are kind of stressful and yuk and I am really starting to think this is just what I do but obviously need to rule out any actual physical cause.

Sorry, far to heavy for this time of day, read some of this thread but forgot kind of hormonal today so worse than usual

Chloe55 · 10/08/2007 09:35

Wow you were all busy on here last night!

Hmm, where to start? CSWS - I can't believe you are still at your mum's! Sounds like a right barrel of laughs for you all at the mo and your SIL sounds like a spoilt little child! I know what you mean though about not wanting to have to leave your mum to deal with them on her own.

Flame - not really sure what to stay other than hugs.

Dame - again, hugs to you as you also sound a bit low.

Welcome to LLL!

Frizbe - great news re the holiday, you'll have to bump into Flame whilst you're there and cheer her up a bit.

Alicet - for your information MRM cheated at triv

Hiya everyone else.

Right to clear things up, yes, my period is due 4-5dys, I thought I was getting period pains night before last but they seem to have gone, I also went to bed in a strop for no reason whatsoever that night too so was sure I would come on! Feel quite sick this morning but that is coincidental I'm sure.

Surprise party - nothing fancy, I have just hired out a local pub, getting a Dj (possibly some karaoke for the laugh)and putting on a bit of a buffet. I've invited friends/family so hopefully it should be a good turnout. Haven't really had much choice in throwing a party seeing as though dh has been asking for a surprise party for about 3yrs now!! I keep teeling him his surprise is that he's not getting one

Chloe55 · 10/08/2007 09:35

Oooh why did Flame's 'hugs' turn out blue????

Chloe55 · 10/08/2007 09:36

Ah, coz they've changed the link thing, right - bit slow off the mark

Frizbe · 10/08/2007 09:38

{{{{Hugs}}} Dame, hope the results are good for you, sounds like you have lots on your plate at the moment.

Flame, pox of some description? sorry hon {{{Hugs}}} can the kids still go away with dh if pox'd up?

for Misdee and Peter, fingers x'd they get another heart soon.

Kel, agree with what Jas said re your friend

CSWS hope the 'atmosphere' gets sorted today, parents eh

MRM thanks for ignoring me

Where's macca this week then?

Right, park here this am, then shops to get lunch followed by Bob the Builder at the shopping mall

Frizbe · 10/08/2007 09:40

Chloe! hello!! test girl, test
Oooh dd2 is just trying to beat up dd1, that's novel......

FlameBatfink · 10/08/2007 10:33

Testy test test!

Yup, methinks chicken pox. The holiday is nearly a fortnight away, so will be fiiiiiiiiiiiine (as long as they are both ill in unison )

Jas · 10/08/2007 13:07

Chloe...do us a test, PLEEEEEEEEAAAAASE

Dame - your explanation sounds sensible and is probably right. If you have to make an appt and go to your gp for the results there is not going to be anything to worry about. You can worry when They phone you and ask you to come in.
I hope you manage to get on top of things soon, whatever is causing it.

Passports arrived today

mustrunmore · 10/08/2007 13:37

Phew, Forgot what I'd ignored you for Friz, but relieved it wasnt anything mean!

BIG sigh of releif for passports.

Ds1 is very happy and occupied; just found aahandmade castle in the chsrity shop for a fiver Its great. Dh is going to love it! Er, so now I have to sell the one I've got up the loft. I got a new set of castle and pirate ship ages ago in a sale, to keep for future. We'll still keep the ship, but flog the castle. Shame they're in the same box. But it isnt a great box anyway! I'm go66969*ing to see if they still have the
.m in argos to r41e1m50in508d 2m0yse9l-f of the half price i paid, then se;l accoringlyQ!

mustrunmore · 10/08/2007 13:44

Think its this one, but this is only the castle and I bought it with the ship as a pair so mine might be less deluxe! What do you reckon i should ask for it?

Chloe55 · 10/08/2007 15:59

Was thinking of starting an 'Am I? Aren't I?' thread . In all serious though, the likelihood of me actually being pg is minimal so I am not forking out on a test unless I go overdue!

Glad the passports have come

mustrunmore · 10/08/2007 16:14

I've got one you can have. Just let me know when you're overdue! I'll be home from Mums on Thursday night.

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/08/2007 20:36

Well by Thursday night I could be late too, and I don't have a test in waiting - will you send me one too?!

No good asking me how much to sell stuff for. I know the price of nothing!

Hurrah for passports.

Dame - hope the doc can give you some sort of explanation, or confirm that your own sounds plausible. Do let us know what he says.

How are dd's spots flame?

Could have cut the atmosphere here with a knife at breakfast, but got better (mum was at work from 11am). DD went straight to sleep when I put her down tonight, so wonder if it was separation anxiety because she'd been spending a lot of time with mum during the days, but today she was with me a lot more. Who knows?!

at your friend Kel.

mustrunmore · 10/08/2007 21:09

Maybe she just wants to be with us not her family

I'll send the test to whover is most despreate t oknow!!!

Hey, ds1 asleep by 8.05pm

CantSleepWontSleep · 10/08/2007 21:14

Blimey - did you drug him?!

Is there anything on at the cinema worth seeing at the moment?

mustrunmore · 10/08/2007 21:20

Prob a similar effect; we sat and looked at photos of me and dh pre-kids

No idea re pics. I only know when there's a outing imminent, which there isnt, as lodger is on holidays! Sorry. Not v helpful.

mustrunmore · 10/08/2007 21:22

Forgot to say.. Jas... I went on journey planner. Got 2 diff route suggestions from here to Hale... one was 40something mins, one was 2 hrs 39 mins !!!!!!!

Frizbe · 10/08/2007 22:47

Oooh two possible tests now this could be fun

Flame, boo for the possible pox....

Bad poo incident here today, dd2 in paddling pool with no nappy on, as got it soaked and its nice n hot right, so she's splashing around in a long dress commando, and I miss her getting out of the pool for that split second in which she poos....
1st spot a bit of poo on the towel for drying feet on, then another bit on the side of the paddling pool, but can't find the rest so think, oh bugger, change dd2, and go to tip the water out......then I spot the rest all over the blinking stones that dh's cousin thought were a good idea when he did half our back garden in them and somehow also on the shopping trolley wheels as well....sigh....had to get huge bag and file half a gardens worth of stones in it, bugger. Swim nappy next time, I've learnt my lesson (she wasn't due to poo you know!)

Frizbe · 10/08/2007 22:47

CSWS Dh, ss and dd1 loved the Simpsons.
