Certainly will take you up on that Could only pack clothes that ds2 has nearly grown out of, then leave them all there for you afterwards, so making space ni the bag for souveniers

Phoenix · 05/09/2007 18:41

Yay the carpet's fitted He didn't get here til about 5 though so we had to wait all day.

Frizbe · 05/09/2007 20:13

Yay for carpet Phoenix!

Jas you have been far too busy! must be an begining of term thing, as I did a mass clear out on the girls stuff yesterday....

am babysitting at mo, praying that wasn't a squeak I just heard? drat it was, please don't wake up!! my mates ds, but he gets a little stroppy if mums not here so am on her laptop!

MRM glad you had a good time bar the huge animals dd1 can never decide if she hates or likes things like that, depends on her mood.

Oh thanks, so that's where Chloe is?!

Kel your sounding good at the mo, Bluewater it is then! suppose it'd cancel out my discount travelling all the way down to see you though

Dame, I think your bonkers to go for 4 but maybe if you do it'll be a girl? would you panic if it was? Jas what's it like to get one of the opposite sex when your used to the others? I only know ss from age 3, so don't know how I'd react if I suddenly got a boy, although slim chance of that, hopefully once dh gets snipped next week or will we be the one in millions who it doesn't work for

So do you think CSWS has sunburn by now?

Frizbe · 05/09/2007 20:13

Phoenix who fitted your carpet, ss's step dad's a fitter up your way!!

Frizbe · 05/09/2007 20:22

Oh anyone else lost the highchair already? I cleaned ours and put it away today, as dd2 is oh so, not ever, going to sit on or in that thing again!! Chairs for our smallest one, even if she did fall off it sideways messing about tonight and eating upwards......

Jas · 05/09/2007 20:30

Yay for the new carpet

The older ds gets, the more I'm noticing the boyness with ds.....climbing, throwing, pushing. The boy bits did freak me out a bit, for nappy changing when he was tiny, but I got over that!

Where did ou go on this free holiday mrm?

I'm not losing the high chair any time soon - ds still doesn't eat off a plate very much He quite likes it (straps himself in!) and it is one he can use as a high chair (IYSWIM) when I take the tray and straps off it.

I am going to have to buy a stair gate for the bedroom door very soon though. He managed to get one foot over the side of his cot this evening I don't think I would hear him getting up in the night, so I need him locked in.

I have a hole in my bedroom wall No more work til the w/e though, as it was just too noisy to do in the evening.

Frizbe · 05/09/2007 20:48

Jas that was what dd2 did the other week, though when she hurt herself falling back in, it meant she's not tried it again!
You'd think our chair would be ok, as it pulls straight upto the table, when you take the tray off, kinda like a booster seat, but it seems only the chair will do for madam

Phoenix · 05/09/2007 21:17

Friz it was from Haighs carpets in Barnsley.

2boysmacca · 05/09/2007 21:54

We have trip traps so both of them will be on them for a few years to come.

2boysmacca · 06/09/2007 07:38

AFter all the excitement of going back to nursery, I'm going to miss ds. We've had such a lovely week. I think ds2 will miss him too

Lots to do in so little time.....

damewashalot · 06/09/2007 08:08

I'm dying, such a huge migraine and feel dizzy and going to puke. Want to be in bed but have to take children to school instead. Though I might have a better chance of a bit of sympathy on here than in rl

Back later if I can crawl to the computer.

FlameBatfink · 06/09/2007 08:25

Dame

Just exhausted here - DD doesn't want to wear pull ups (she was wearing them when I gave her milk at bedtime ), took them off before sleeping and then wet the bed. DS kept hollering for no apparent reason.

Last day before school, I feel I should be doing something but am too tired

DS scared everyone lots at playgroup yesterday - he kept diving headfirst into the playpen bit, and then doing some sort of forward roll/flip thing and giggling. They were all gasping and tensing each time, and I was just ignoring him (there were no babies in the playpen!!!)

He had his first nursery session - was fine apparently, but didn't eat any lunch , and glared at me for 15 mins after collecting him

Right TMI warning

Period sooooo heavy, with big clots and stuff, not usual for me might explain migraine hormones gone loopy?

Jas · 06/09/2007 09:30

dame - definitely can't be acoincidence.I hope you feel better soon.

at your ds Flame. At least he wasn't throwning stuff at all the other children. I'm not really looking forward to restarting toddler groups next week.
Your bath day sounded fun before. Why don't you do that today, then maybe ypou can sit quietly while they splash....

I am taking ds to the farm today.(My friends ds start s reception in October and all his friends ae at school so she is having to go out alot to keep him busy)

Got to go. He's in the tool cupboard....

JeremyViIe · 06/09/2007 09:35

Yup, Bath is happening later - I need DD shiney for school tomorrow

JeremyViIe · 06/09/2007 09:35

Arse

Jas · 06/09/2007 10:17

mustrunmore · 06/09/2007 11:00

Yep, !!

Oi Flame, I know you're busy and all that, being a real person with a business. But will you reply to my email please!! I need to spend my £54.15 please!! As long as I get an original receipt, its fine I think.

FlameBatfink · 06/09/2007 11:12

That was the business thing I was doing!!! I am putting things in and out of a basket trying to see how much we can get for your money

Do you want to stick with all in one/pocket (go on in one piece) or try some with a wrap over the top?

OP posts:
Phoenix · 06/09/2007 11:27

2boysmacca · 06/09/2007 12:38

Jas. we're planning on doing Willows this weekend, is it worth the money? Otherwise we'll just visit friends in SA

Dame. Hope you're feeling better.

Frizbe · 06/09/2007 17:13

Dame, hope your feeling better too?

MRM a convert (faints)

not that shop then Phoenix!

Flame for ds the acrobat!

dd2 tried to climb a lattce fence whilst we were out today try explaining that's someones garden to an 18 mth old

dd2 is currently trying to wake dd1 up, who is trying to sleep/watch tv on the living room floor, we've been out to Fradley, near Lichfield today, walking along the canal watching the boats, then walked the nature trail, with lovely lunch at cafe, dd1 is shattered, dd2 due to some buggy is less so! So hot, can't believe it!!

great news too, we have the money for the shop!!! so the solicitors are doing their stuff, full steam ahead and I'll be working 4 full days a week, properly! about a month from now
Accidently txt'd a mate, whose turned out to be in Florida too, hope its not cost me a bomb

Jas · 06/09/2007 17:22

I knew we'd get you eventually mrm. Are you getting a council incentive freebie? Mine is only £10 (but you can claim it every year)

maca - I've never been Theplace I went to that I always thought was Willows was something else entirely. mrm and csws have both been lots. I can recommend Hayes §Hill as grea value (if you have a season ticket) It is right near me.
I'm readig SA as SouthAfrica......I wonder where your friends are.

Great news Frizbe

DS is covered in sand and suncream after the day at the farm, but I think I have a broken toe I stubbed it really badly just before we went out, and it is now purple and still hurts.
