Not sure if that is the right word. I right click on things I'm not sure about and get a list of possible alternatives, but words that are words without the offending letter come up with no list

2boysmacca · 27/08/2007 19:46

How can you right click on a mac?

Jas · 27/08/2007 19:48

Ho would I not be able to?
I point ith the mouse, and click on the right button.

It is a minimac, not a laptop or anything exciting.Confused

2boysmacca · 27/08/2007 19:59

A mac mouse has no right/left click, just a central click

mustrunmore · 27/08/2007 20:06

Oh god. First yuo do nappy talk that I dont understand, now its mac talk

Poor ds Jas.He's a very hardy creature though, I'm sure he's forgotten it all already. Ds2 wouls have done. But then again, he injures himslef nealy every day

Nice day here... went out with friends so dh had a whole day of DIY He wanted to do it He's 'trimmed', ie massacred, the garden, filled and undercoated the windowsills (about to fall out because they're so rotten), painted the shelf in the front room.
And last nights our friends came round to drop off an amp... its on long term loan till we get ours fixed I was so touched.

mustrunmore · 27/08/2007 20:07

Ah ha! So, have we found out that Jas is pretending to have a mac? And pretending to have no 'w'?

Jas · 27/08/2007 20:14

Is a mac mouse special then? Maybe that is hy I double post all the time. Neither the keyboard or the mouse are "special" mac ones. Just cheap generic, had-the- right- plug- so- I-assumed- they- would - work types

2boysmacca · 27/08/2007 20:16

Not sure they are special, you just can't right and left click which used to be a PITA when I was working and swapping from pc to mac.

CantSleepWontSleep · 27/08/2007 20:43

If you use a mouse you can just use a normal one and have both a right and left click - I do this, so you can't blame that for your double posts . The laptop pad itself only has a single click option though, but I loathe all of those pads, on mac or pc, so always disable them.

lol at Mr Body!

Well dd finally ate some food at tea time - hurrah! Up til then she'd managed about a tablespoon of porridge, 5 chips and most of a bourbon biscuit (and lots of milk, obv!). I think giving her some nurofen an hour beforehand helped. She's not settling tonight though - still awake and moaning even after me going back in for a big cuddle .

mustrunmore · 27/08/2007 20:44

Poor ilttle love. And poor you for having no evenig. Er, ds1 is almost asleep

Jas · 27/08/2007 20:46

Damn! I thought I'd found the perfect excuse there. Thanks for clearing that up. I as beginning to think I as going to have to buy a Mac Mouse.

Hopefully eating a bit is the start of a better day tomorrow. (Once she gets to sleep)

2boysmacca · 27/08/2007 21:21
Smile
CantSleepWontSleep · 27/08/2007 21:55

Fingers crossed Jas, esp as we're at friends for lunch tomorrow.

She did finally go off just before 9 (though has woken briefly a couple of times since).

Hope that ds1 has gone off too mrm?

2boysmacca · 28/08/2007 07:11

I hope all your babies slept well after their late nights! Although mine went down at 6.45, ds2 woke at 3.50. He came into bed at 4.15 and played . I put him back to bed at about 5, he screamed for 10 mins then went down. Dh got up at 5.30 when I managed to get back off to sleep (I was fearful his alarm would wake him up again so reamined awake) then ds woke at 6.15. Needless to say, trouble is sleeping off his early morning!! I feel like a zombie.

Nothing planned here today. I have my trainer in a couple of hours then I'll pop into town and get a few things for a picnic tomorrow at Wimpole. I'm hoping to grab 10 mins kip when ds2 sleeps this pm.

Jas · 28/08/2007 07:20

All 3 of mine are still sleeping
DP got up at 6 and managed to get out of the house without waking any of them

The girls have a kids club every morning this week so it is just me and ds for a couple of hours DD1 has a friend coming to play in the afternoon, so I should get a nice easy day.

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/08/2007 07:36
Shock
CantSleepWontSleep · 28/08/2007 07:38

Oops - didn't spot your post macca. No sleeping late here - up at 6:20.

mustrunmore · 28/08/2007 07:54

Well, e got a lie in till 6 I ws up all night weeing though (sorry if TMI, but you get the picture that it wasnt the kids waking me1), and I had a very very odd dream where dh wasnt around, as were loads of other people (dead? Taken away?) and the government was limiting food and water supplies, and we had to travel by boat , but were only allowed in the lower deck

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/08/2007 08:09
2boysmacca · 28/08/2007 08:27

Have you been watching Titanic recently

Frizbe · 28/08/2007 10:43

Hello I'm back, have you missed me? Can anyone do me a quick summary of the last 11 days?

So we've been happily running our 11 day event, which started off horribly wet Fri/Sat, Sunday was overcast but dry and the Monday just horrendous, so the girls and I discovered Bridgends outlet mall, after the soft play was in alternate use that day, sigh. Still I got a starbucks! But luckily for us its was heatwave Tue onwards, got to the beach twice, had friends pop by, on the Tue/Wed who stayed at the hotel up the road, which had a pool, so the girls got to splash as opposed to paddling in the sea! Thursday night onwards I had a very happy 3 year old, as the pirates arrived for the bank holiday weekend with their kids, so dd1 went feral and wasn't seen bar bedtime until yesterday!! can proudly report my dd1 is now a faerie allied with pirates who knows how to smite baddies with fireballs and a sword

So this am I've turned down a job interview with Homestart, as dh has decided we're opening a Comic and games shop [nervous grin] and I'm running it for the time being......we have a shop under offer, just firming up the process of funding it all now, hoping to be open by Oct! I think I have a busy month ahead. Catch ya'll later!

Frizbe · 28/08/2007 10:52

Ohhh nearly forgot, dd2 last week, has turned into a right escape artist....can now get out of her sleeping bag, via the zip and also her car seat by doing the arm dislocation thing nice.....

FlameBatfink · 28/08/2007 18:25

Ooh cool shop Tis a shame DH has changed jobs or I would have got him to churn out the WoW bookends for you to sell for us

I can't do much of a rundown (been awol)...

Pippa feeding constantly and poorly.

Both one of Jas's girls and her DS have had stitches.

Macca is going to train as a personal trainer.

MRM has a "new" cotbed and weird dreams.

I had my weekend of peaceful decorating cocked up when a funds shortage meant that the Wales trip got cancelled But we did family beach bonding and painted together, so it wasn't all bad.

That is all I have taken in really.

Oh, and Jas has no "w" - spellcheck is getting most of them but things like who and how still don't register.

I suggested all of us leave out w too to make her feel better, but no-one joined in (they are all just mean)

Eek for escape artist child - welcome to my world

I reeeeeeeeeeeally wanna bring my babies on one of your event weekends - they would love it
