Ooh, sounds exciting, Frizbe

I can't really add to the update, everyone's been awol it seems.

Dewmeadow hasn't had results yet (AFAIK)

csws has had a haircut but isn't shaing pics

I have a new keyboard...ad a new mouse

Arm dislocartion thing is great Mine can do it but have never put it to any paractical use. Can't see ds being that obliging.

I took him to see the d this evening....apparently mouth wounds always look yellow ad pussy when they are healig, so I can stop worrying about that and revertt worrying about how they are going to get the stitches out.

DS hasn't slept all day. I kept him out of the buggy at the drs to stop him falling sleep there (at 5.30) ad he ran riot, resulting n lots of tutting and dirty look directed my way.
I'm going to put him to bed now.

Oh yes, I din't come back ths moning to repot on my sleeping children - they all slept until 7.55

FlameBatfink · 28/08/2007 18:48

Yup, DS's always looks yellow and puss-like as they heal

(That sounds soooo bad doesn't it?! Should I have gotten him stitched before? )

Jas · 28/08/2007 18:56

Only if his teeth went right through and out the other side.
The stitches are on the outside.

2boysmacca · 28/08/2007 19:05

How did you react Jas, I'd have panicked? When ds sliced his cheek open, I got the ambulance to pick me up en route to the hospital. Yuk, I hope it heels quickly and properly.

FlameBatfink · 28/08/2007 19:07

Yup... that happened with his most recent one. Only where he just has a few teeth it probably did a lot less damage!!!

OP posts:
Jas · 28/08/2007 19:25

I don't thnk I panicked. I'm ok with blood and by the time I got him to the first aid bit, he was consolable, which helped.
I'm guessing Boy was worse than your ds, Flame. When he smiled/laughed (which he was still doing after the initial trauma)it all opened up. No way could i have left it.

EuroDisney cstomer services are great. They have a full time driver employed to take people to and from the hospit, and it was evening when we got back so he took us back to our cabin.
Andwe got free t-shirts.

mustrunmore · 28/08/2007 19:30

'They have a full time driver employed to take people to and from the hospit'... they must have alot of accidents then!

Like the idea of free stuff though.... you know me!

Jas · 28/08/2007 19:38

In the time I was at the hospital there was a 3 yr old with a head injury, a boy with a cut finger, and a staff member with a broken wrist. (All the chldren were English)

FlameBatfink · 28/08/2007 19:44

See - pays to have the amazing toothless child

Hurrah for free stuff

Welcome back Frizbe Shop sounds great.

It's been my day off work today but i haven't done much. I wanted to take ds to soft play but i just couldn't bring myself to go in the school hols, so we've just been to Toys r Us (bought a small Iggle Piggle), Pets At Home and the garden centre. Very exciting.

After ds not going to sleep the other night we've knocked his afternoon nap on the head and it's going well but we need to be out cos stuck in when he's tired is a nightmare.

Oh and we've cut his dummy down to sleep time only and he doesn't seem at all bothered by it, he even went to sleep in the car today without it

My mum has also bought ds a christmas pressie today, its a Pirate Mega Blocks thing that i saw reduced from £19.99 to £9.99 in toys r us. He likes buliding so i thought he might like things like mega blocks, duplo, stickle bricks etc for christmas this year plus we haven't got a bloody clue what else to buy him.

I'll stop whittering on about us now

2boysmacca · 28/08/2007 20:11

He's very young to knock it on the head pg. Can you not just reduce it, for your sake as well as his? ds hasn't napped since he was about 18 months but he really needs it, and is still grumpy come the afternoon, and he's nearly 4. Lecture over

Welcome back Friz

Phoenix · 28/08/2007 20:26

He has a nap about 10-11am for 1-1 and half hour macca. When my mum looks after him when me and dh are working (which is most days) he never has an afternoon nap as he plays out in their garden so it is the easiest of his naps to stop

FlameBatfink · 28/08/2007 20:51

B never napped - all kids are different

Dewmeadow results Jas???? What are you on about?

Got the world's worst passport photos taken for my driving licence today. They made me take my glasses off, and with my very short hair, it made my face look fat and as though I've got lots of chins. Combined with my atrocious skin it all just looks horrible. I know that I am fat, so I don't need a bad photo to make me look even worse .

Went to friend's for lunch/afternoon, where dd managed to eat some beetroot (but nothing else) for lunch, and still demand 'bee-boo' for the rest of the afternoon, but her temperature has been fine today, and her cough seems much better than it was. Nose still verrrrrry snotty though! She did manage 1.5 sausages (but nothing with them) for dinner.

I'm going to ignore all of the hospital talk, as it's yukkity yuk thinking about it.

Welcome back friz .

2boysmacca · 28/08/2007 21:03

Just don't get booked csws then there's no chance you have to reveal it to anyone

Had to get ds2 some new shoes today. Ds chose green trainers for him . Ds needs some new ones too but I want to string him out for a few more weeks. He was rather sad when the fitter said his current trainers had a little room left.

I posted my phone down the back of the radiator this afternoon and it took me ages to hook the damn thing out. It kept ringing and beeping and i just couldn't reach it.

Off for an early night after my early wake up call.

Jas · 28/08/2007 22:23

Dewmeadow results = Damewashalot brainscan Memory for names has never been my thing.(Her last post here was still waiting.

I don't care if the kid needs a nap. I need ds to have one nap per day. He didn't sleep at all and was horrible all afternoon.

Why did you post your phone down the back of the rad macca?

CantSleepWontSleep · 28/08/2007 22:38

Ah right - with you now! I thought maybe you meant Chloe getting pregnancy test results! She's away now isn't she? Will somebody text me with whether she's pregnant or not if she's not back before I go away?

Jas · 29/08/2007 06:43

Yes. No problem When do you go?

DS was up in the night for two hours. Mostly just yelling and babbling, but with added crying at times. No idea why, but I'm shattered now.

Frizbe · 29/08/2007 07:24

Chloe still doesn't know then am getting all excited for her now

Thanks for the updates girls

CSWS sorry about the photo,if it helps mine isn't that good either and then they appear to shrink it a bit too

Jas, eeeek, I take it ds bit through his lip at EuroD? dd1 did a lot of that, praying dd2 doesn't how is your dd with stitches too then? same thing?

Dame hope you eventually get your results then!

Flame, why you been awol then? busy with work?

Hello everyone else anyway, on at this ungodly hour, as taking dh to the dr's, seems they want to see us both together today early to confirm he still wants the snip

Frizbe · 29/08/2007 07:24

{{{Hugs}}} Jas, was it teeth do you think?

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/08/2007 07:28

Leave here 8:30ish on Sunday morning.
Sounds like a fun night .

mustrunmore · 29/08/2007 07:29

Ds2 has only ever had one nap, of 30-45 mins usually, even when tiny. Or when he's at jas's house, where he seems to love sleeping longer

We still have about a dozen cars down our radiator.

Ds1 was asleep by 7.30pm last night !!!!!!!!!*** Ds2 in our bed from about 1am though.Snotty and coughing.

Off to Legoland today... I love freebies

I got the boyds feet measured too, did I mention? ds2 still the same, ds1 bigger but I already have 4 pairs of footwear in the new size, from neighbours of my Mum

Jas · 29/08/2007 07:47

Yay for the sleeping ds1, mrm! Have fun at Legoland.

Teeth, sore mouth, sore bum, haven't a clue what kept him (and Us) up for so long.

Yes he bit through his lip. DD2 had her stitches out before we went . She has a lovely scar running through her eyebrow, but once the missing bit grows back I think it wll not notice.

I'm in denial re school shoes. DD2 has some which fit. I just need to clean them. DD1 has new trainers and is allowed to wear them to school, so i will buy her some boots at 1/2 term and not bother with shoes. I think ds will eed new ones soon though.

Frizbe - Chloe has had two neg tests but is still getting symptoms ad feeling unwell, so she's not sure.

2boysmacca · 29/08/2007 16:09

Lovely day out today. Ds2 found some mud so he wallowed in it . They are now both sat in their undies having had a bath pre-dinner!

Getting my hair chopped tonight, I'm hoping dh gets back in time!

CantSleepWontSleep · 29/08/2007 18:05

I am soooooooooo sick of dd's moods and the constant feeding. We could have had such a nice week in this good weather otherwise.
