Ha ha, what did I tell you!! I'm not pg according to the test so watch this space. Maybe I'm just a bit poorly and under the weather and the discharge may just be a sign of a period nearing.

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/08/2007 14:49

Not as early as yours macca, but she finished her nap at 2:30 yesterday, and didn't go to bed until 8:10, so I thought she'd go a bit longer than she did.

Flame - do you know how to do a balance sheet and profit and loss account, including things like depreciation (for your computer, which should be classed as a business asset since you need it for business)?

Chloe - fcuk it - test now!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/08/2007 14:49

lol - x post!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/08/2007 14:51

aaarrrggggh - raining again . That's going to limit our options for the afternoon.

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 14:56

Right then - you do the test now, and I post you one ready to use in a few days if it is -tive? (Got oodles after the panic last time!)

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 14:58

lol x post!

At the moment I am writing everything obsessively in a book that makes perfect sense to me... but most likely not how it should be done

Depreciation I know absolutely nothing about

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 16/08/2007 15:01

Do you know I feel really melancholy about that result and I don't know why because I didn't want to be pg due to going on hols in a fortnight and seriously don't fancy another sober holiday. Weird that I should feel so sad about the result Looking at it in hindsight if someone gave me the choice of being pg or not now I would say not so why do I feel like this?

Must be PMT

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 15:02

It's normal I think

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 16/08/2007 17:48

I agree with batfink, it's pretty normal to feel like that.

Flame, surely you're too young to remember batfink?

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 18:45

Batfink was cool!

2boysmacca · 16/08/2007 19:23

You'll be telling me you remember Gordon Honeycombe too....

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 20:06

Nah, you're ok there....

Just to let the nappy people know - doing another draw thingy tomorrow, much more range of prize to choose from this time. I remember someone was miffed that they didn't know it was happening last time, hence the mentioning now.

Forgot to reply re Woburn - haven't been there, as it's a drive round place, and I prefer to get dd out in the fresh air, so we do Whipsnade instead. Can highly recommend that though, and you can do tickets on Tesco vouchers.

Jas · 16/08/2007 20:51

I've sent off for the Tesco vouchers already

I thought we got emails telling us about nappy excitement, anyway.
I gave my friend a nappy and wrap to try out today....I'm hoping for at least a partial conversion.

We're home >

I have read through, but I'm knackered.

ChasingSquirrels · 16/08/2007 23:13

waves hello - we went to woburn last year (were heading for whipsnade for the drive around reason csws mentioned, but then the traffic got heavy and i saw a sign for woburn).
it is drive around, but there is also quite alot of walk around aswell, we did 2 drive rounds and had about 3/4 hours in the rest of it.
can use tesco deals at woburn or whipsnade.

Frizbe · 16/08/2007 23:25

Hi girls, MRM glad your home safe, Chloe for the no baby, but you never know, test again in a few days?

Just a quickie as dd2 just woken up, sigh, teeth? and we're off to Wales for 11 day event, so won't be around (Flame I'm gona need that roundup when I get back!!) so that's it really, have fun without me and don't miss me too much

2boysmacca · 17/08/2007 06:57

Taking boys to see Noddy today, wish me luck!

MRM I loathe Brum, glad it's you and not me! Have fun

Jas · 17/08/2007 07:16

Good luck with Noddy, and Brum

Hello Chasing Squirrels Thanks. We are definitely going to aim for Woburn I think (6 weeks til her birthday so I have time to change my mind)

See you when you get back Frizbe.(Any news on that job???)

Last swimming lesson today, then we are all going swimming to a nicer pool with waves this afternoon so dd2 can show off er new skills.

I ned to shop and bake after that, as my friend is having a street bbq tomorrow and we are all chipping in. Cross your fingers for nice weather for us.

Chloe55 · 17/08/2007 08:34

Taking the day off work today, still feel ropey, woke up with a bunged up nose too but that seems to have cleared now , just feel sick and really tired and headachey

Enjoy Wales Friz, hope the weather improves for you!

Good luck with Noddy Macca, must say I don't envy you!

FlameBatfink · 17/08/2007 08:38

@ both Noddy & Brum!!!

We are having a bath morning - they go in the bath after breakfast (probably about 9am), play until DS is tired and wanting his sleep, then she gets more warm added every so often and plays until it is time to collect DH at lunchtime

Tis a great morning - I sit at the top of the stairs in the bathroom doorway with a laptop

Eek k@ needing a roundup!

I will do my best

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 17/08/2007 08:53

I love that idea Flame

I am dreading taking them. I haven't taken them on my own to something like this since ds2 has been walking. I feel it will be very stressful, and I'm already rather stressed as it is. Got to find the sodding place first as well, then attempt to get tickets since I haven't booked (but they have assured me I don't need to book). Anyway they've just had suncream slapped on them, I've made a very small picnic for them, now I just have to go get some cash out and we'll be off. I may not return!!

2boysmacca · 17/08/2007 14:25

That was not enjoyable! I have spent a fortune having a photo taken in Noddy's cas, riding the mini fairground, buying balloons and avoiding the toys! To top it off ds2 lost his shoe and I let go of the balloon as we got out of the car!!! Lots of tears and tantrums along the way. Ds2 tantrums because he was put in the buggy when he wanted to be walking, I wouldn't put him on the min trains as he'd already got off the mini waltzers and ds because I wouldn't let him have a new toy, wouldn't let him have a new toy, wouldn't let him have a new toy, wouldn't let him have another go on the fairground rides, another go ont he fairground rides...oh and because he lost lightening mcqueen (but then we found him). Got home, both of them fast asleep int he back and noticed ds had unclipped his seat belt he has never done that before and positively goes nuts if I get in the drivers seat without clipping him in. Not sure why he did it, unless he unclipped when I stopped to pick up the lost shoe.....

Need to sleep now but will make do witha hot cuppa cha!
