Lots of rain here too. I can't stand another day indoors but I'm at a loss as to what to do with them.

I forgot to mention that ds2 back teeth have finally come through. After months of chewing and high temperatures and sleepless nighs one came through a couple of weeks ago and the other broke through last week. However, they bled quite a bit for a few days which I was rather alarmed at. The top ones are nearly there, I can feel a little bit of tooth. I hope they don't bleed!

Ernie came through again yesterday

Right better get them dressed. Ds2 has his pj's off and vest on but that was as far as he'd let me get.

FlameBatfink · 15/08/2007 08:07

Gift-wise, I tend to like good quality wooden toys.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/08/2007 08:07

Did books for Christmas, and her dad worked in music for 15 years and now in DVDs, so sadly these are always a no.

re transplant. QV let me know at 00:45, so I slept excited for them.

Rain here too, so also no idea what to do. TV and a cuddle so far .

Jas · 15/08/2007 08:12

Wooden puzzle? DD1 had a really nice one with her name on it which we still have.

CantSleepWontSleep · 15/08/2007 08:19

We got a wooden puzzle for her 1st birthday . This obviously means that you're having great ideas - it's just that I had them first!! Toyed with the idea of some fairy stuff, maybe for dressing up, but haven't found anything nice and the right size yet. Also thought that crocs wellies would be good (she has their shoes) but not sure of her foot size.

FlameBatfink · 15/08/2007 08:26

B had a Noah's ark for her 2nd birthday (or was it 3rd??), either way, they both play with it oodles...

we got that one but I have seen much nicer ones out there.

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 15/08/2007 09:13

Oooh I didn't know the transplant was going ahead last night (I have been a bit oblivious on the rest of MN at the mo) that's great news though

Frizbe · 15/08/2007 09:46

ooh will go and check out the transplant news too

dd1 being a pita today, currently hitting the sofa, as she's having to watch dd2's programmes on cbbc for a whole half hour she want's something else on, I'm going to bin the tv if she carries on like this oooh I've just turned it off, for good for the day. sigh.

Erm 2nd birthday prezzies, dd1 liked her cook set and also a tea set she got for her 2nd birthday. I think it may be too early for shoes and dress up?

Right off to sort out the bickering sillyness of my dd1

Phoenix · 15/08/2007 09:56

Wooden door plaque maybe for the pressie. Something like these?

Phoenix · 15/08/2007 09:59

Or coat hook/hanger

mustrunmore · 15/08/2007 11:18

hellloooo Have snuck up mums neighbours loft briefly, as they're away, to find 100 unread emails and a not very long thread on here . Havent clicked on any of your links, as this pc is dodgy, and I dont seem to be able to come back out of new windows, so have to start all over again getting to the thread Am intrigued about that Frizbe; about what did I have to say about something?!

Csws, I'll get on the bed thread and track morgan down, but dh has vetoed the bed purchase I'm working on him, but its v unlikely to change, due to our current money saving schemes!

Well, its ok here, but I wouldnt want to stay any longer. Had a great day at friends farm, although ds2 nearly gagged in the milking parlour as he's not used to country smells! And our friend took us to the fire station so the boys could clamber all over the fire engine and do the lights etc, and dh tried on the uniform We left ds1 with Mum yesterday, and we took ds1 with us shopping. He had great fun running round a graveyard Journey up was interesting, as we didint take the buggy (got a cronky old thing here), but he did really well; walked all the necessary bits! And tonight.... me and dh are going out! As a couple! No kids! My mums friend is comimng over to help her as she cant cope with both boys alone ,esp as ds1 is terrible at bedtime again.

Watched Arthur and the Invisibles last night; was pretty good actually. Ds1 adored it.

Js, I'nm def coming on 21st with the boys, if you can meet us as you described What shall I bring?

mustrunmore · 15/08/2007 11:25

Ah, knights . Quite like them Not as good as project managers and av techs though

mustrunmore · 15/08/2007 11:25

And there's no mobile reception in this backwater I'm cut off from civilisation!

2boysmacca · 15/08/2007 12:35

Where in the country are you mrm?

We went to softplay in the end. I hate those places during holidays but it wasn't as bad as i anticipated. Ds2 is now in bed and ds1 is watching Cars.

I had better go and do something worthwhile like prepare dinner or clean....

CSWS what about a lovely print for her room?

KelBelle · 16/08/2007 00:24

Right, just a quikkie as I'm off to bed!! Have had a few manic days what with boiler/kitchen work going on but it is back to normal now - phew!

Chloe- glad your DH is ok, accident sounds scary!! Any more news with your period? Keeping my fingers crossed for new baby news on Friday

Phoenix- I loved the photos on Facebook of Lew on the beach.

Flame - hope your DS has recovered from his spots.

Not a lot else going on here, DS has discovered the word "bubble" and says it over and over Also lots of Macca Pakka and Upsey Daisy in my house this week!!

CantSleepWontSleep · 16/08/2007 08:53

This thread is so dead at the moment!

Got some clothes from Jojomamanbebe yesterday, so b'day pressie sorted and dd gets to keep the dress . Managed to take dd to Woodside for 45mins afterwards too, then bought fish and chips on the way home. It seems that dd likes curry sauce .

No baby here this month - how about you Chloe?

Sounds like you're having a great time mrm. Hurrah!

Morgan and Lauren coming to play this morning, so better drag dd upstairs so that I can shower.

Do you think that bouncing on a trampoline at the same time counteracts the obesity risk from watching tv?

Jas · 16/08/2007 10:34

For you, or dd csws?

no baby. Any news Chloe?

Hello morgan

Nothing happening here. I'm not around in the evening due to spending time with dp for a change We watched the transformers film last night and it was quite good!
csws - Do you go to Woburn safari park? Is it good for a treat? (it is dd2s birthday next month, and she is so easily pleased, she wanted me to take her to the farm, but I thought Woburn might be a bit more exciting.)

Hello everyone Where are you all?

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 12:01

Sorry - busy doing lots of work.

Proof of my "audited accounts" - CSWS?!?!? What do the housing benefit people want me to show them? Last time I just sent em all my statements etc with a summary letter...

Why can't I just win £1500 somehow?? That would pay off the loan, and I could cope without the housing benefits Life would be much easier and I could get out of this bloody benefit hole.

Spots on DS are fine now - DD's were def bites, they are still there and look so sore

for no baby. Have forgotten most other things.

2boysmacca · 16/08/2007 12:37

Exercising, where else

Just done a pile of ironing whilst ds2 sleeps and ds watches cars the movie for the umpteenth time. Off to a friends later for a cuppa cha and some adult company. Another session at the gym this morning, my arms are screaming for me to stop.

I'm on an alcohol free week, I need to take drastic action to get rid of my baby belly.

for period csws. Have you tried acupuncture? I've heard of really good stuff from couples who were trying.

Flame, you need to play the lottery then you could win £35million rather than £1500 Sorry you're feeling a bit low but this time next year your business will be making profits.

Better go and put the hoover on...

Chloe55 · 16/08/2007 13:26

Still no sign of a period - have come home early from work as I feel really dizzy and sick which is all a bit weird. Have a slightly achey neck too Debating whether to take the test when I next need a wee but reckon I will still just hold on till tomorrow morning as that's the best time to do it. Still don't feel at all pg though, I had really sore boobs last time and have none of that.

My endometriosis pains have returned with a vengeance (sp?) since I have come off the pill too (apparantly the pill and pg help control the inflammation) so that isn't helping matters.

Hope you get the benefits thing sorted out Flame.

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 13:44

Test nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 16/08/2007 14:05

Tell them that you have only been trading for a few months, so don't have audited accounts yet (generally you'd have been in business for at least a year and often longer before you had any).

Although most of me wants you to test now as well Chloe, I think I'd try and hold out til morning in your shoes if I could (unless of course I'd bought 2 tests ). Symptoms can be very diff from one pregnancy to the next, so don't read too much into that. Remember that I had no symptoms with dd (until the constipation kicked in around week 14!!).

Not tried acupuncture, although my reflexologist is concentrating on the right bits. I think that more sex might help .
MrCSWS - please be around for a few days before we go on holiday .

Morgan gone now, but she said hello back Jas! Lauren and dd had great fun fighting over the same toys (or in fact shoes ) and running down the slight bank in the garden. . Just having a cuppa then will think about what to do for the rest of the afternoon once dd wakes. We were up v early again today, so I need to well and truly wear her out!!

2boysmacca · 16/08/2007 14:28

How early is your early then CSWS? Ds crawled into my bed at about 5.15 Arghhh

I'd hold off the test until morning too but then neither of my pregnancies showed up on any test until I was about a week late for my period.

FlameBatfink · 16/08/2007 14:33

Ah, see I show up ridiculously early on tests, I forget everyone else doesn't

CSWS - from everything I have read up I don't legally have to have my accounts done by an accountant etc anyway - was reading something this morning that pretty much said I just need to be able to show my in/out n total type thing. I think I will fire the statements at them, with a letter saying what my books show. You're going to regret reminding me about the account thing aren't you

OP posts:
Chloe55 · 16/08/2007 14:39

Hmm, just been on an early pg sypmtoms site and it gives the usual sore boobs, tiredness etc but it also gives excess discharge as a common sign too.

Well I have tiredness (in folds at the mo), dizziness, feel sick but also (tmi) over the past couple of days I have been getting loads of clear, odourless discharge which I thought was weird. Need a wee now and seriously debating taking the test but my last period started on the 16th and it is only the 16th today so officially I am a few days late but that could all be due to the fact it is my first period after the pill which messes things up anyway.

Oh I don't know what to do now, I only have one test but after reading the discharge thing it has got me thinking arrrrggghhh!! You know if I do the test I'll just go, well it was negative and take another in a couple of days if I don't come on anyway and is it worth the cash oh I just don't know

Is indecisive a symptom?
