sexonlegs I remember the summer of 03 - I was carrying James (born dec03) infact quite a few of us were pregnant that year

Pinions · 03/08/2007 10:19

Right. Warning. Am about to shout very loudly.

THEO SLEPT FOR...WAIT FOR IT... 12 HOURS LAST NIGHT

(Need to say thanks to lesleys baby for the little "chat" he had with Theo yesterday, has obviously paid off .)

Oh happy days.

Well another fab day here so off on our travels no doubt, not quite sure where to .

Have fun in the sun everyone, and don't forget sunscreen!!! (At least factor 100 or above please).

Byeee!!!

Kneehighinnappies · 03/08/2007 10:27

Oh my head hurts

Was a little worse for wear last night but it was fun

Lola would have slpet through the night if silly mummy hadn't got drunk and tripped over somethin and landed head first in the loo

I didn't get time to post this yesterday I was too busy getting hammered, but whe took the DT's for their jabs yesterday and they were weighed as well.
It is odd because Lola has not been putting on weight like she was before and has dipped right down on the chart.
I have to take her back next week to see if she put's any more on.

I can't understand how her weight would be less as she is on formula nowand is taking between 4 to 6 oz.
Very weird.

Hope you are all well and not to tired angeg nutty and ellie.

leakyR · 03/08/2007 10:38

Hmm Pinions if George had a chat with Theo it went something like this:

T: Think I might try and sleep for a very long time tonight.

G: Good idea! How about I do the opposite and we see who has the happiest mummy tomorrow.

Needless to say Theo has the happier mummy. I was up 5 times last night!

Here's something funny for all you HP addicts out there.

Just been texting Dippy she sends her condolances to Octo and her family. Says she's more tired than when she's at home, but they've had a good time.

Sorry about your rubbish night leaky...hope tonight is better!

Afternoon all

Well, the swing/slide combo for the boys has arrived, and so have our patio doors - dh is going to be very busy this weekend

Really pissed off with dh boss. Dh has nearly £400 missing from his pay. We can only think that its from dh was ill for 4 days at beginning of the month) But ever since started working for him (nearly 4 years ago) he always been on full pay when he's ill (which is nearly never, he has to be really bad to call in sick) Dh never checks his wage slip, its just given to him in an envelope, then lives in his van for months on end (silly, I know) But dh is more annoyed that his boss hasn't warned him about it.

On the plus side, its lovely and sunny here, and my nextdoor neighbours are expecting their 1st baby next Feb!

Katy44 · 03/08/2007 14:23

Does he not have a contract runny, with sick pay issues in there?
I know what you mean about not checking your pay slip, unless I have reason to think mine might be different I just stick it straight in the pile for filing!

OK i have what it probably a really stupid question, prepare to LOL. T has been cooing loads this afternoon. He's lying on the floor on a blanket saying "oooh" "ayahhhh" etc. He normally only does this when we're playing with him, at the moment it's like he's talking to himself. Has he finally learnt to entertain himself??

liath · 03/08/2007 14:25

It's the pixies, Katy - he's watching the pixies!!

Katy44 · 03/08/2007 14:30

Well one of them has upset him, because now he's crying
NAUGHTY pixies!

liath · 03/08/2007 14:32

BAD pixies, making him cry. Bet they're the same ones that hid my car keys!

geordiemacminx · 03/08/2007 14:47

Katy44 · 03/08/2007 14:52

geordiemacminx · 03/08/2007 14:54

normabutty · 03/08/2007 14:54

better than sex......i NEED the recipe!!!

runnyhabbit · 03/08/2007 15:01

mmm chocolate cup cakes (said in Homer Simpson stylee)

Katy - contract? Dh works for his friend (although tbh he's less of a friend now) and tried to get him to sign something which was meant to be a contract. But dh had it looked at by a friend, who is an employment specialist (either in law, or in HR, can't remember which) and said that it was a load of rubbish, and nothing like a contract! And dh would have more protection by not signing it. So, dh said to his boss that if he draws up a proper contract, then he will sign it. That was a year ago. Thing is, there is no consistency to any statutory pay - like he had full pay for the 2 weeks he was off when W was born.
Think his boss is just being an arse

Kneehighinnappies · 03/08/2007 15:07
