Evening all..

M is 10 weeks today! It has flown! As L went down and thru the night (with a dream feed) at 11 weeks thought would try putting M , who is an infinately better behaved child down at 6 and see how she went, (she had been napping downstairs before and coming to bed when we went)..not well is the answer..M wailing..L bellowing 'Mae here, Mae here' because she likes to say good night to Mae before she goes up to bed herself at 7..So back down she has come..

SOH-I have L with cm because the nurserys round here all had very strict routines and I wanted her to be in a more homely environment-I work long hours and I didnt like to think of her being at a place that felt more like school than home IYSWIM?There are lots of other kids at CM's so she gets alot of socialisation there but also gets treated as one of the family which I like..(plus it was over £400 cheaper, which was an added bonus)But different strokes to different folks I guess..I sometimes get oddly jealous of my cm as she is with L all day when im at work and im not..
Will feel much better when Largegandt has them all im sure..though how she will cope with the Lil and Hugs show is anyones guess

PMSL at mr April and the sick..poor thing..

So is it a static caravan then Cam you will be staying in?Am thinking of it for next year..Unless we all come to you for safari?

scootermum · 15/08/2007 20:13

Have just got some st Tropez self tan all over the bloody bathroom..its like paint- it wont come off..god knows what its doing to my skin..Will have to wrap legs in a sheet before I get into bed to save my sheets..neither baby'd better need anything in the night as I will be like an Egyptian Mummy and will have to shuffle in my shroud if I have to get up..

scootermum · 15/08/2007 20:14

Have L for the day if you like Cam, spice things up a bit?

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 20:21

Send her over Scoot! DD can handle her, she's a right bossy old madame, ds1 can flirt outrageously with her and tempt her into his bedroom with a promise of a ride in his spitfire

LWandLottie · 15/08/2007 20:31

at Cam! What girl could ever refuse eh?

MKG · 15/08/2007 20:40

Hey I can't keep up right now as am too tired after sharing a room with my two children who have been keeping each other awake at night. Tomorrow we will drive the 11 hours back home. "Ahh home sweet home" I can't wait.

largeginandtonic · 15/08/2007 20:42

Am on my 3rd gin and feeling better, much

Hugs tipped an ENTIRE jug of juice all over the table in the time it took me to walk from kitchen to dinning room. This was after i had cleaned the bunnies out and he had stomped through the washout from the hutch with barefeet and created so much about not being allowed out to play that Jonah\grumpy and Phin came home to see what all the fuss was about. He then threw, yes threw chicken at Jonah during tea. Sometimes there is not enough gin in the world..........

Scoot you can get those tan remover wipes in boots to get it off the floor\children Am sure it will transform you in to a goddess overnight, a tan always makes you feel better!

Am off for more gin, really should eat something too.

scootermum · 15/08/2007 20:45

GAAAH!11 hours drive? I dont envy you that MKG!

Dont tempt me Cam..she is upstairs STILL saying 'Mae here, Mae here' sloweer and slower as she gets more and more tired..she is like a toy when its running out of battery..

God every time I go into the bathroom I spot some more fake tan residue on the tiles..DH will go barmy when he gets back..have sprayed and scrubbed liberally with Cilit bang to no avail...bet this never happens to Victoria Beckham when she does hers...

largeginandtonic · 15/08/2007 20:46

Poor you MKG, at least it will all be over tomorrow. It is so hard room sharing, Jonah and Hugs were in with us when we were awaiting Beau's arrival at MIL. It was damn near impossible to get a good nights sleep.

Be careful on the drive back and stop lots to stay awake if you are tired.

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 20:48

He's a charmer my son..

Get booking those flights next year ladies, come over and stay, LG&T and the nanny can look after all the kids, the chef can feed us all a continuous supply of chilled wine and nibbles and the men can drink beer and tinker with a Landrover (don't understand the Landrover obsession myself). Ah the expat lifestyle, oops forgot for a moment that that was my life before, no longer a life of lady-like leisure for me

MKG · 15/08/2007 20:49

Thanks luckily I'm driving with my mom which means that she'll drive while I take care of the kids. Thank God for the portable DVD player to keep ds1 happy and entertained.

I'm so tired and miserable that I just want to be home.

scootermum · 15/08/2007 20:49

Here pass me some over...I finished mine last night (there wasnt that much left really before I started...not really)
at Hugs...

Tan wipes!..genius!..will go tomorrow before DH returns..

Goddess?Pah..will take more than that im afraid...TBH I dont know what has posessed me..I am knackered and want to go to bed but have to wait up to dry a bit now and dare not sit on the couch for fear of leaving stains..

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 20:53

Lol at the thought of you Scoot, hanging around to dry out

MKG, take care tomorrow with all that driving, just think tomorrow night you will have your own bed back.

scootermum · 15/08/2007 20:54

Try clicking your heels together and wishing you are home MKG..Apparently that sometimes works Well one more day and you will be back in your house..only one more day hon..

CHEF Cam?You never had a chef?Did he look like whats-his-face?That quite sexy French one who was on the celebrity cooking show...I tell you I wouldnt kick him out for making cheese on toast...
(You can tell DH has been away for a few days )

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 20:55

Forgot to say Scoot, this is the mobile home..

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 20:56

Blimey fantasising about dodgy French sleb chefs and fake tan, you must be desperate for dh to return

largeginandtonic · 15/08/2007 21:03

Cam, can i come? It looks fab!

Sccot sure you dont need the tan

Celeb French chefs mmmmmmmmmmmmm who is that yum one, you know the one on that programme with someone else.... Good grief total brain melt down. Novelli is it? Jean Christoph Novelli, or have i lost it completely

None for you MKG your driving tomorrow. Oh hang on it's your Mum driving. >

scootermum · 15/08/2007 21:06

It looks nice I think...what a good idea, camping without the chaos of pitching tent, towing caravan or whatever..when do you go?

DH wont go near me if I still smell of fake tan-he cant abide it..honestly of all my crack pot ideas..was thinking it would be nice to have brown legs for V..But have seen the forecast and will probably be wearing galoshes and a sowester so it will all be in vain anyway...
oh sod it..am going to bed, the sheets be damned!

Night all

scootermum · 15/08/2007 21:07

Thats him...thanks gandt..that was going to bug me all night..

loving the luurvely gin...

What the hell are Galoshes anyway?

Really am going now...

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 21:08

last time I went on holiday in a caravan I was 18 and with 3 girlfriends in the south of France, we had such an enormous party that we broke the caravan and left it at 45deg angle and had to sweet talk our way into being allowed to stay That'll be Hugs and Lily in 15 years time

aprilmeadow · 15/08/2007 21:09

Camping, thats not camping!! Camping is being in a crappy little tent with all you clothes and toiletries packed in around you. Snuggled up in your 3 season sleeping bag, looking a bit like an egyptian mummy whilst listening to the 80mph winds that are threatening to lift you up in the air and drop you somewhere completely different! Lightweights

aprilmeadow · 15/08/2007 21:11

Do you have any other drinks other than a g&t?? not tried gin before.... feel like i am missing out on something

cameroonmama · 15/08/2007 21:11

galoshes and souwester? Are you going with the Famous Five to V?

got to go and iron, night night.

aprilmeadow · 15/08/2007 21:14

cam, why did you have to mention the 'I' word? I have just remembered that i have a friend coming tomorrow and need to empty the house of clothes that are just lying around. damn it
