Poor DD! You aren't a bad mother! I'd have shouted too!

I'm not actually a size 9, I got the wrong size sent from Next - lucky I did. I was a size 6 but since babies a size 7. Isn't there some connection with feet/pelvis size?

I made that up, didn't I?

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 18:34

no foxy, i thought there was a correlation as well, but not sure how scientific it is.

that ff thread is still raging on even after the op has said she's had her mind changed by the responses on the thread.

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 18:35

holly, my ds has been screamed at this week, and had a smacked bottom , never mind shouted at.

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 18:35

Yep, bigger feet=bigger pelvis=bigger baby! Hence my whopper!

Just looked in my bank account and have loads of money from tax credits! I'm doing some online shopping, I think I deserve some new clothes!

Hi all, sorry I haven't been posting much. Don't feel like I have a lot to say except the usual, nipples sore, bfing up and down, sleeping up and down, big poo today. Can you tell I'm bored? Not of DD obviously, but just the mundanity of it all. Wish the weather was better. Wish I had rl mummy friends! I am going to groups etc. but these things take time don't they. I wouldn't mind doing not a lot so much if I had someone to do it with.

Foxy, how are those darling foxcubs all getting along?

Btw daisy, yesterday was fine, thanks for asking. dd was as good as gold. Fed her upstairs in friend's bedroom though as there was a bloke there who I just can't stand, and the thought of him perving at me gave me the heebeejeebies!

Holly, hope everything goes ok with your DH's job.

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 18:39

I'm scared to look at my bank account....I'm working on the ignorance is bliss principal of fiscal management

I noticed Doggus has been on the birth threads over the last couple of days, but not here.....

Are you lurking missus?....come and talk to us

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 18:39

she's had a couple of smacked bottoms too! She keeps climbing on William and kicking him!

It should be going to pay bills that I've been ignoring daisy, but I wanna spend some cash on me for once! I want a pair of wedges!

OP posts:
derlor · 15/07/2007 18:43

oh are we talking shoes???????? i've clearly arrived back just in time then!!!

derlor · 15/07/2007 18:46

FOXY, if you are currently in the porky feet brigade, get yourself a pair of these they come in brown, black, white, silver and gold. they are the most comfy sandals ever to grace my feet - and there have been many many contenders!!!!!!

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 18:47

Hey derlor! I want me some nice new shoes! All the sale shoes seem to be out of stock in my size! May wait til sat for the next sale.

OP posts:
loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 18:50

Oh, I was gonna say that the accessorize sale is on foxy. All the pretty beaded flipflops are £5, great for puffy tootsies!

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 18:50

LOL Derlor, you and shoes are like lulu and childbirth. Do you have a siren on your pc as well?

My fave sandals are bust but I can't justify another pair as I have lots of other sandals and the weather is shite. Mind you I suppose that means there'll be lots in the sales!

Bumper, it will get better and you will meet other mums. One of my best friends is a mum I met when MMR was a baby. My HV asked me to befriend her when she was pg as she'd never held a baby let alone changed one and we became firm friends.

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:03

If I wear a smock top or tunic are people going to ask me when the baby is due?!

OP posts:
daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 19:06
Hmm
derlor · 15/07/2007 19:07

PMSL Daisy but no not a siren just a sixth sense!!!

naturopath · 15/07/2007 19:15

Hello, daisyandbabybootoo sent me the link to this thread.. as I gave birth in June I think I qualify!

Nice to see the poo discussion.. observing poos seems to be what my life has been reduced to at the moment.. oh, that and a colicky crying DS (who, miraculously, has been the perfect baby today)!

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:20

hello naturopath, nice to meet you
yup it's all about poo's, shoes and wind in here tonight!!
so tell us a bit about yourself - is this your 1st baby? boy/girl, etc....? i'm just being nosey before everyone else starts to ask.

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:23

Yes derlor, size 8 wedges or chunky platforms. I love the ones you bought in Next, but I just checked and they are sold out in 8 & 9! Grrrr....

OP posts:
naturopath · 15/07/2007 19:23

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:26

Welcome naturopath! Feel free to moan and whinge about any subject, nothing is taboo here!
