hello again naturopath, you found us then

i didn't tell you how mad we all were, or you'd never have joined us!!

glad your ds is better today, it is so wearing when they cry all the time.

i'm 38 and just had No.2 so a veritable OAP!

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 19:35

these are cute - just warming up more to follow

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:38

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:38

Looking for more sandaly type. Also they are out of stock in my size derlor!

naturopath · 15/07/2007 19:40

No probs - had to re-read my own post to see if that's what I said/meant.. didn't say it but probably meant it! do feel old.. although gave birth when I was 29.

Glad to hear all mad, as if I am not now, will be soon.

BTW, my MIL just gave DS a dummy to suck, but it wasn't sterilised - in fact, has been on his changing table for about the last week. She didn't tell me until he'd been sucking it for about 10 mins. Should I panic??

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:40

loads of goodies here

naturopath · 15/07/2007 19:41

Did I read something earlier about replacing hardcore job (selling your soul and spending lots of time on comp) with MT addiction? I think I may be at risk of that.

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:42

nah don't panic, thats mild compared to some of the stuff i've done and my children are healthy little things

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:42

Don't panic naturopath, my 2 year old dd was sucking ds's dummy and then stuck it in his mouth! He is fine, don't worry, it's good for the immune system!

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:43

Good one, I forgot about faith!

OP posts:
derlor · 15/07/2007 19:45

anyway naturopath, and all other 1st time mums...once they are about a year old they learn to take off their nappy during the night and eat their own poo!!!!!
(many a call to my work about THAT one!!!!)

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:46

Oh ffs!! I'm going to get cross in a minute! I like 2 pairs and they are both sold out in my size! I might just go to the shop, then I can take out my frustrations on the shop assistants!

OP posts:
naturopath · 15/07/2007 19:46

really?? that's disgusting!!

loonylovegood · 15/07/2007 19:47

I am soooo glad dd never did that derlor, esp as she was still co-sleeping at one!!

OP posts:
derlor · 15/07/2007 19:48

don't worry they don't all do it, but some do!!
i bet you don't feel so bad about the dummy now?

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:50

i like these - available in size 8 as well!

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:51

fark that link didn't go to the shoes go to women, footwear, wedges, 2nd pair in.

derlor · 15/07/2007 19:57

Holly, total change of subject but if you getting a sling for William, have you thought about getting on of these for Alice - might help if she can be just like you????

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 20:02

holly....what about these...and check out the style name

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 20:07

my DS never took his nappy off and ate his own poo, but my DN managed to get a handful from a nappy that had been laid next to him on the floor and stuffed it in his mouth at about 7 months, LOL. He didn't seem to mind the taste either.....bleargh

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/07/2007 20:11

another footwear challenge if anyone is up for it. my lovely flatties have bust.

they have a band across the foot, with cut out loopy pattern, then have a thin strap that goes around the heel, as I'm not keen on floppy styles....it's an age thing ....

my big fat pregnant feet bust them so need another similar pair. they were from clarkes.

i'm devastated!

naturopath · 15/07/2007 20:12

eek! must remember never to leave poo nappies out.

has anyone tried fitflops? do they work?
