Sorry, Jodie

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
eandh · 18/07/2007 21:12

ooops sorry again LAL I practically wrestled her to the ground when she said "Mummy ringing!"

TheChamberofCarrots · 18/07/2007 21:15

EAH - we hired that car when we went to Yorkshire at Easter. It was great, really spacious and comfy.

eandh · 18/07/2007 21:17

there is so much boot space I'll be able to fit shopping/pushchairs and all my crap on the boot!

TheChamberofCarrots · 18/07/2007 21:19

yes, that's another reason why we chose it, the boot was like a spare room!

canmummy · 18/07/2007 22:05

EandH - we used to have one of these and loved it. I sold it as we didn't need 2 family cars then when I was pg decided we couldn't possibly fit 3 dc in a fiat punto so actually went out to buy another one (we only didn't get it because dh is so stubborn and they wouldn't do the deal he wanted - think he was haggling over £500 that we could easily afford)

WilkiesWizardWheezes · 18/07/2007 22:06

EAH - you crap on your boot???????

eandh · 19/07/2007 05:39

whoops 'in' the boot (I was tired last night) and know at 5.30am I amup wit Hatie who decided talking/babbling in her cot was a great idea (Ellie woke up came into my room moaned Hattie woke her up got into our bed and is snoring away )

eandh · 19/07/2007 05:40

there are more typos in my last message than the one last night - I am blaming hattie

geoRGEEweasley · 19/07/2007 07:33

Hmmm...no wedding anniversary card from DH. He told me with a big smile to be patient. Should I be expecting a huge boquet of flowers and something exciting in the post, or has he not yet nipped to the shops to buy one? TIme will tell....

geoRGEEweasley · 19/07/2007 07:34

Must add that DH 'believes' in wedding anniversaries. He thinks these should be celebrated 'unlike Valentine's Day'!!

Lizzzombie · 19/07/2007 07:50

LaL - bump!
where do you get baileys cheesecake from????
this is important...I want some!

eandh · 19/07/2007 07:58

RGEE - be optimistic that a huge boquet of flowers are on route!

WilkiesWizardWheezes · 19/07/2007 08:19

I'M OFF TO MEADOWHALL SHOPPING FOR CLOTHES - CHILD FREE - WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Not much to report, J slept through (thank christ) and is currently showing me his belly button laid on the floor whilst doing what sounds like the most ginormous turd!

RGee - happy anniversary my love. I think a huge bouquet of flowers on its way too.....

....don't do what I do. I didn't speak to my ex cos he said he'd forgotten our anniv, how shit did I feel three hours later when a beautiful bouquet arrived that he had planned all along! I was just being impatient!!!! Oops. Oh well, he was a twat anyway

2HappyRotter · 19/07/2007 08:28

Happy Anniversary RGee!

Do I take it that Hattie phoned Lal? ds1 managed to phone a friend on Tuesday. I'd gone upstairs to try and settle ds2 who was just screaming all day, and he dialled her number. All she could hear were really echoey screams (through the monitor) then silence (when he finally fell asleep). She says she didn't hear me say "go to sleep, idiot child!" . Unfortunately, I didn't notice he'd done it for ages. 52 minutes, according to the phone display when I horrifiedly (is that a word?) saw it and hung up. She was very nice when I phoned her to apologise, she was just relieved it wasn't a really scary stalker playing freaky child screaming noises down the phone at her. Oops.

eandh · 19/07/2007 08:32

it was ellie who phoned lal, hattie would simply chew the phone and dribble over it if i gave it to her

GobletOfRouge · 19/07/2007 08:59

How funny about Ellie trying to phone LAL. She'll be posting on MN next.

Wilkie - happy shopping. Sounds a lovely day. I bet you hope it rains today while you are under cover. I however, have lots of washing so hoping the rains hold off here until later.

Rgee - Happy Anniversary! There must be a secret behind DH's smile.....

Lizz - how is DP today? Still your patient?

E&H - was your DH pleased with your bargaining skills?

I am taking Ellen to nursery this morning to leave her there 10-11. Am sure it will be fine.

theUmbridgeDryad · 19/07/2007 09:28

hi everyone - i'm here! had a break from MN yesterday as i found a pirate PDF copy of HP7 online and sat reading that most of yesterday you will not believe who dies in the first few chapters! it's pretty hardcore!!

also, Z wasn't very well yesterday, started with the diarrhea (or however you blardy spell it!) at 2am then puked up his whole feed (or what seemed like it) at 7am! phoned NHS Direct who said just to keep feeding as normal, give cool boiled water(i ignored that!) but i took him to see the nurse at my surgery anyway, cause i was a bit worried about dehydration. and i know how much the nurse loves him!! i would've taken him to see the hv, but apparently we don't have one now. there aren't any at the surgery. i don't much care, she was a twat anyway, gave the most appalling advice, but it is a bit like, Huh??

my stabbed in the arse mate is doing really well, considering he got stabbed, he's been given so much chocolate and cheese (big cheese fan) that i think he's enjoying it!!

anyway, must dash - meeting friends for walk in the park then they're coming back for lunch! will look at facebook later too!!

geoRGEEweasley · 19/07/2007 10:09

Wilkie - enjoy shopping!!!! What did you buy (presume you've gone now so will read this when you get back)

EaH - I bought Pippa a toy mobile phone as she kept grabbing for mine!

Vino - good luck today with nursery. We have our first visit on Monday. My eyes are welling up thinking about it

UD - who is it? who dies in HP??? I must know!

Well, whattdyaknow! A HUGE bouquet of flowers arrived about half an hour ago. I very nearly cried, but not quite. They are gorgeous and smell luvverly

geoRGEEweasley · 19/07/2007 10:10

2H - pmsl about your stalker ds!!

GobletOfRouge · 19/07/2007 10:41

OOOOOHHHHHHH the flowers sound like a 'oh you're such a darling wife' present Rgee. Is the sun shining in Mortown? I hope so

Ellen was quite happy when I left her at nursery. I wouldn't be surprised if she sleeps through the whole hour visit. She'll need a bottle when she's there tomorrow.

I just rang work and it turns out my letter hasn't arrived, nor has the sick note that was in the same envelope. Bother!!!! I'd used a freepost envelope they had sent me. Had to ring drs for a duplicate sick note and email the letter to HR. I also complained to HR about my boss seeming sceptical about my back when he rang me last week. It made me feel better!

canmummy · 19/07/2007 13:38

RGee - happy anniversary! How lovely to get the flowers

Wilkie - how I'd love a day shopping! Nipped into town this morning to get a new raincoat as my old one not waterproof anymore and had to keep stopping cause dd2 was bored/hungry/thirsty and had to sit down for coffee to feed dd3 for half an hour. So a whole morning in town and I managed 3 shops

Vino - we have our 1st nursery visit next week and I'm sure they'll love her as she's so laid back and happy (most of the time). Bit worried about the bottle situation as she's still breastfed and doesn't like formula. Still have 6 bottles of ebm in the freezer ready

Must go and mow the lawn now as rain clouds are looming and this is the only time I can do it when lo asleep. Fortunately she'll sleep now till after 3 cause I need to tidy the house as well and can't really be *rsed!

laughalot · 19/07/2007 19:14

S orry lizz been at work today I shall send you the receipe my mate makes it for me as she is the queen of baileys cheescake making !!!! Ill ring her and post receipe xx

Dragonhart · 19/07/2007 19:46

Rgee Happy anniversary. I have to say I think Valantines day is a pile of crap too and we dont celebrate it here. Dont make much of anniversaries either actually. We are soooo unromantic!

2happy, so funny about ds1 phoning a friend! I think it would actually be quite scary. When Luke talks on the phone to PIL, he heavy breathes down it! Wont talk much just nods at them.

Had my dsis over today and she had her final growth scan yesterday and her baby is the same weight as Ruth was when she was born even though dsis has 4 weeks still to go! They said its head was 34cm already! Owch!

Ruth had some more lunch and tea today and is really getting the hang of it. She also slept so well last night in the cot in her own room. Didnt wake til her morning feed. What an angel!

2HappyRotter · 19/07/2007 19:47

Nooooooooooo! UD! Now I won't be able to switch computer on just in case you (or someone else with a pirate (surely wrong genre?!) copy spills the (Bertie Bot's All Flavour) beans!!!

SeverusShimmerus · 19/07/2007 19:56

I'm just reading though last few days posts and I've had to stop because RGee's just asked who dies in Harry Potter. You better not have told UD!!! I'm looking forward to reading it on Saturday (resisted the web version - not nearly as fun as reading a book!) and i don't want to know what happens til then!
