2HappyRotter · 18/07/2007 07:11

Ah bollocks. Computer been crshing all the time and I've been getting pissed off with it and ds2 been gurney and ds1 been hitting again and just haven't been switching computer on (except to play scrabble with dsis - anyone else doing facebook scrabble?) and now I have totally lost track of this thread. Darn. Congrats LTH, hope your mate ok UD, happy wedding anniversaries etc, welcome back from hols, um um um...sorry forgotten everything else ! Oh and angel delight, horridly full of all things nasty, but you can't beat a bowl of butterscotch, nom nom. When pg and morning sickness all I can eat is fruit pastilles or butterscotch angel delight (whatever happened to instant whip?), which sadly has now put me off both (well until I get pg again...JOKE, Loosh!).
Been really hot and sunny past 2 days here, great to amuse kids but bloody awful at night, too hot to sleep. Never mind, no doubt will rain again any minute!

geoRGEEweasley · 18/07/2007 07:43

How's the Weetabix Vino? It's well liked in this house.

Hiya Canmummy . Thought we'd frightened you off, but it seems like you have a real life . Hope you had a lovely holiday.

Dragon - well done to your DH!! Good to have you back

Pimms - good luck with facebook. I am relying on the youngsters to tell me what to do. Wilkie, be gentle with me....

PCF - now you HAVE to let us know your surname!!!! That table for Alex looks fab! V cute sitting up pics. How long can he sit up for?

2H - sounds like you need a drink. Is it too early to pass one over

Jodie - keep meaning to ask how is everyone this week?

Nowt planned for today. Probably watching the very heavy showers. Let's hope for horrid rain at 3.30pm then DH will have to forgo his game of golf and come home

WilkiesWizardWheezes · 18/07/2007 07:51

There is a January 2007 group on facebook solely by invite only.

Lizz and I are administrators

Will get on and get inviting. You should recieve an email asking you if you want to join! Accept.

J was awake from 3am-5am this morning. Nice! Little cretin

Weetabix went down well this morning after an initial look of digust.

eandh · 18/07/2007 08:03

Morning table looks fab PCF and lovely pics Hattie sits up for a good 15minutes now has a few toys on her playnat and just bashes them together or eats them she is so different from ellie who got bored after 30 seconds and wanted me to play with her all the time. Ellies bday is 7th September, her party is on the 8th and then we go on holiday on the 10th so will be a very busy weekend.

Wilkie - bet you are feeling tired this morning, Hattie was talking to her toys at 5am but left her till 6.20 (bad mummy!)

Got to go to friends house today to drop our godsons birthday present off and then we have decided we have to get a new car as ours just isnt big enough so will pop to a few dealerships and have a look we're not sure whether to go for people carrier or large car (I am inclined for the people carrier especially if I am going to have step nephew 1 daya week)

EAH - hello. What make/model car are you looking at. I luuuurrrvvvveee talking about cars (weird freakoid that I am )

J sits for a good 15-20 mins too playing with his toys (favourite - a frigging tupperware!!!!!). He very rarely topples over now but I always put a cushion behind him just in case.

The funniest thing about this crawling is that he isn't allowed in the kitchen (just don't want him crawling around kitchen floor, it's not always clean and I don't like him in there). So I was round the corner in the kitchen making a cuppa when I could hear the thump and grunt of him crawling getting closer and closer. Next thing I know he is behind me grinning up at me with a 'aren't I clever!!' look on his face. PMSL. Bless him.

Shit, he's just walloped his head on the TV cabinet.................

GobletOfRouge · 18/07/2007 09:15

Rgee - weetabix big fave here but only I had it today. Nana and avocado for Ellen.

I have no plans today. Will try to grab a walk between showers but got loads of ironing to do.

I have been very productive this morning so far doing lots of admin type jobs for the house/banking etc.

Ellen can only manage to sit for a couple of mins when she feels like it.

geoRGEEweasley · 18/07/2007 09:32

Pippa is once again last on this thread [competitive mother emoticon]. She sits for ohhh...30 seconds...but it is getting longer each day. And she is still practicing the rolling she only properly learnt this week. However, she does recite her times tables and the alphabet very well

geoRGEEweasley · 18/07/2007 09:35

How can you like talking about cars Wilkie. They're so BORING..... I think UD likes cars too. You boys!!! That's it, I'm off to watch the footie and scratch some balls....

Dragonhart · 18/07/2007 10:40

Ruth totally refuses to sit! If I try and get her to, she goes totally ridgid and wont bend.

She loves to stand holding on to the sofa though! Can do quite afew minutes before her legs buckle. Think she is going to be stuborn!

Dragonhart · 18/07/2007 10:41

I like talking about cars. My favorite are red ones but I quite like silver ones too.

BellaTrixyLestrange · 18/07/2007 10:45

Rgee - don't worry my DS has only ever rolled over once and sits only for about 2 secs before toppling over.

You don't want them crawling too early anyway, much better when they don't move .

eandh · 18/07/2007 12:29

Rgee Hattie doesnt roll at all (well except once!) she looks very pissed off if you dare to lay her down on her front!!

Wilkie - I am so bad went to LOOK at cars this morning, found my perfect car and BOUGHT it, knocked the salesman down from £6499 to £4000 plus our car (which to be frank is worth almost nothing and MOT due next week and it needs a new clutch and bodywork has loads of scratches))plus 6 months road tax and 12months MOT (and Ellie was being so well behaved I made salesman give her 3 pink foil helium balloons and buy her a drink/chocolate bar from vending machine as we weren't intending to be there that long and I didnt have any change) DH doesnt actually know I have bought it as he is on a course today but we had agreed what we wanted and I went for it because I managed to get a good deal and if he was there he wouldnt haggle and would just accept crap for our car and pay full price Picking it up on Saturday its this one [[http://www.autoplanet.co.uk/view.asp?ID=116277 this is my lovely new car}}

eandh · 18/07/2007 12:29

this is my lovely new car

2HappyRotter · 18/07/2007 14:22

Hope J's head is ok, wilkie!

ds2 can roll (and does. All the time. Grr) But he is nowhere near sitting unaided, I think that's because he's spent the majority of his life dumped under the gym [bad mother]. That or it's the disproprtionately huge head my husband has gifted his sons

Thanks for the gin, RGee, very welcome! Have long vodka in return

geoRGEEweasley · 18/07/2007 14:25

PMSL that you bought a car EaH!! Sounds like a top bargain. Is it silver? Shame it's not now sat on your new driveway waiting until DH gets back from his course. Would love to have seen his face
