I would pretend your assignment deadline is still the same Katy - esp if you're anything like my "ah, it can wait" DH!! Glad you discovered the joys of the handwash cycle ...... All of our bedclothes are currently going through the wash as P projectile vomited EVERYWHERE this morning. Nice. I have to admit, I just stripped her & myself naked, popped a towel onto the bed, got back in & carried on feeding ..... It was 5 in the morning - like could be arsed to completely strip everything & put new clothes on us both!!

Have planted DD1 in front of Peppa Pig for a few mins - seems to have worked so far.

I didn't know you were still giving a BF a chance, Elkie. Would definitely recommend getting a few different BF counsellors in (La Leche, NCT, NHS...) Yey for getting him latched on for a few mins - he is still v.young, so there is definitely hope .....

normabutty · 02/07/2007 10:38

Morning all

I will not LOL @ at the poo & vomit stories as that would ensure it happened to me

Liath or weeonion - I don't suppose I could have the beer/marmalade cake recipe???

CD - did you get my cheque this morning...I posted it on Sat but the notice on the postbox said there wasn't a pickup until today (despite the fact they always empty it late on sat & on sun )

normabutty · 02/07/2007 10:42

and where's Ellie????

JoMa · 02/07/2007 10:48

I'm here, why?
It's only been 12 hours since I was last here Nutty, even i'm not that addicted

i'm not really here tho as i'm doing more housey things today, those texts i had may have been nasty but the bit about my house being a mess was true, and it's given me a kick towards doing something about it

Maveta, you've got me on smoothies now, bought a cheap maker at Argos this weekend and had smoothie for breakfast - it's fab!!!

JoMa · 02/07/2007 10:57

ok, now i know why
someone kick nutty off of MSN, or i'll never get any work done!

Dippy - totally with you on the ´towel over vomit´ thing.. there´s no WAY I would change the sheets everytime N was sick in the middle of the night. he´s a bit of a vomit machine actually. Am getting very used to sleeping on top of muslins/ scratchy towels/ wet patches (when all else fails)!

Katy - you must have a snazzy machine, mine is rubbish and doesn´t have handwash cycle, I just bung the chair cover in at 40. Thought that was ok? Didn´t do it any harm the other day anyway so.. great news re. deadline but if you can be bothered prob. would be good to get it done. If you´re anything like me that WON´T happen

WO - am just glad to get ANY these days, couldn´t care less if it is weekend-only, morning-only etc etc I´ll take what I can get

Elkiedee - well done for getting D latched on, hope the counsellor can help you some more, you should be really proud of yourself for the effort you have/are putting in no matter what happens.

JoMa - yay Smoothies! They´re such a wicked and easy way to get your daily fruit in you and next stop is trying them with a wee bit of vodka in (not in the morning, obviously! lol)

Oh and nutty - very impressed at your intentions re. nappy making.. I wouldn´t even know where to start.

N is flaked out again here next to me, he is SUCH a lazy baby! just like his parents..lol..

Katy44 · 02/07/2007 11:18

hi cd
i sent coins, hope you get them along with a very pointless note (still thought i was going to die from poisoning )
you're right abt the deadline, today off then back on it tomorrow. if nothing else i want to get the boxes of books back in the loft
hi everyone else, back later this afternoon x

Pesha · 02/07/2007 11:33

morning all
am shattered today still. didnt wake up till half 8, kids didnt wake up till 9 and dd has had an on off ear throat thing over weekend so have kept them both off although she actually seems fine now

dippy at useless mil. and thanks for confirmation of my bf skills!!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 02/07/2007 11:52

Hi again,

Elkie, good on you for perservering with the b/feeding.

Maveta, pmsl at your great sex. Thought it sweet that you had shared that with us!

Pesha, Weymough is miles from you isn't it? Can they not transfer it from Weymouth to your local store? You sound so knackered.

Not much going on here. Got to go to the dentists again for a scale and polish - really can't be arsed tbh, esp as it has started peeing with rain again.

Right, need lunch before I have to go.

xx

JoMa · 02/07/2007 12:16

Right, need to feed hungry children & screamy baby and then off out to a friends for the PM.

"See" you later ladies .......

CaptainDippy · 02/07/2007 12:23

Ha! Betcha didn't know I was lurking - waiting to shoot you!!!!!!!!

CaptainDippy · 02/07/2007 12:23

P has been asleep since 10am too!!

maveta · 02/07/2007 12:31

lol - yeah I don´t like to mention it too much for fear of

a. being lynched
b. tempting fate

Not sure which is scarier.

Anyone know anything about paypal? I sent a payment off on friday but it went through in Euros not in Pounds (my mistake, obviously). I emailed the seller to say I´d made a mistake but they haven´t replied. The payment hasn´t gone through so I´m wondering how I know if they just haven´t accepted it yet or if they´ve rejected it? What are the terms that paypal would use to describe that action? It´s just that my paypal is in Spanish and as I´m a complete novice I´m not sure what it means. It says something like ´funds not withdrawn´?? Anyone??

JoMa · 02/07/2007 12:35

that means they haven't accepted it yet i'd say maveta, you need to get dh to read it tho! then you can stop the payment and start again.

you did it to me too

SHE GOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OP posts:
Pesha · 02/07/2007 12:43

CD aint the only one gonna shoot you! Dylan been awake since 8 except 10 min snooze whilst feeding. Thats all he does all day!

SOL - I am tired but think once i get going doing tings I will feel better, and bfing always makes me come over sleepy! Weymouth is only bout 40 min drive, or 30 the way dp drives! so not too bad.
My plan first thing this morn was to go on my own with kids and let them play on the beach as it was quite sunny but didnt get round to going and has been peeing it down now so will go with dp (who doesnt like going on the beach and has to be guilt tripped into it by me normally!) then he can drive and I can chill! Well assuming D sleeps and we dont have to spend the whole journey listening to him scream! Oh the joys!!

Spent yesterday with dps brother and his gf whos 5wk old baby slept nearly the entire time, woke up for a bottle, looked around for 5 mins lying perfectly still then went back to sleep And sleeps 6/7 hours at night! Dylan was either feeding or awake and needing to be entertained, kicking and wriggling all over the place the entire time. Slept no more than 5 mins whilst feeding. And have just realised that dylan is 10wks and dd and ds1 were both rolling over at 12weeks so chances are he's gonna be mobile soon too. Ds1 by 4 months would roll his way all around the room!
Why did I have another one?!?

JoMa · 02/07/2007 12:45

was just asking myself the same thing Pesha!

OP posts:
Pesha · 02/07/2007 12:53

Oh you're all so smug with your sleeping babies

Just you wait till...um...well er...hmm... ah yes just you wait till they're 18 and mine has run off round the world and left home whilst yours are still just sleeping on the sofa!

HA! Then we'll see whos smug!

Bugger.

Smug cows.

Pesha · 02/07/2007 12:55
