I hadn't thought of that

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:30

I'm hungry DH has gone to a workmates to pick up his laptop and is picking up takeaway on his way home...thought he'd have been back by now

JoMa · 29/06/2007 20:32

Katy. aren't you still bf? it's rather difficult to leave them behind

and what have you done to everyone else
the pair of you have been the only ones in here for an hour and a half

we're the only one's with nothing better to do

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:36

Actually...I've been shopping at the same time so that was something else to do!

oooggs · 29/06/2007 20:38

I went into town to meet a friend for lunch on wednesday. James was supposed to be at nursery but was off 'sick' so had to take him with me. Got half way there in the car and turned round to see that he didn't have any shoes on. Had to go back and ended up being half an hour late. By the way DH strapped him in the car

If anyone wants to borrow ds1 or dts to see what more than one child is like - feel free - they are all a great method of contraception

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:40

Oooogs - my DH might take you up on that offer seeing as I said we'd have to have loads of kids to make my nappy buying cost effective

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:44

I'm doing my assignment, so obv. looking to MN for distraction
And Ellie, yes I am still bf, it just occurred to me that if I was stuck in traffic and he was hungry, what would I do? When I set out for a 3 hour journey, what happens if it takes 5?? The screaming would send me deaf
But yes, I agree, don't often leave them behind.
I did wash a disposable breast pad today - came out like a tea bag

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:44

Katy - you could pull over somewhere!!!

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:44

Wow I'm grinning like an idiot today

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:45

just today

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:45

Could do, but on the motorway is quite dangerous Think I'll just stay at home till he's 1!

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:46

oi
[need a tongue sticking out one]

Did I say T can raise one eyebrow?
It's so funny!

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:46

I don't drive on motorways but round here if DH was driving us the exits aren't too far apart really...

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:46

Oh no,
Me, nutty and JoMa
I feel truth or dare coming on...

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:47

lol, you've gotta get a pic of that!

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:47

Oh no...I got laughed at by DH for playing that!

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:48

where's my takeaway

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:48

I can't, can't even get one of him smiling really, as soon as I point the camera at him he looks at it inquisitively. Will give it a go though!

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:49

nutty, you're going a bit red...

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:49

Erin does that too....and she's abit scared of the telephone!

nuttygirl · 29/06/2007 20:49

DH's arse will be red if he doesn't hurry up with my food

Katy44 · 29/06/2007 20:49

Is he likely to have a drink in his hand now? PLaying computer games?

JoMa · 29/06/2007 20:50

My two have both been able to , Matthew doesn't seem to be able to do it anymore tho

and Katy, you'll worry yourself stupid, there are exits very frequently, even on motorways, and if it's stationary traffic (and looks like staying that way) you get him out and feed him sat in the car!
