We've just been out and bought our bedroom carpet. We're been a teeny bit sneaky and getting out attic carpet and underlay out of the £258 insurance money too so we've found a really nice roll end for £84 for our bedroom dh is upstairs laying it now. All the painting is done in there so we should be all back to normal later today Then just the attic to sort.

Flame - for ds been poorly. Hope he gets well soon

Jas · 09/07/2007 13:20

Phoenix - when our carpet got flooded and we claimed on our insurance we had enough to do our bedroom too, so you are not alone. I don't think it's bad to do it if you'd rather not spendall the money on the one room.

Flameboy.

DS has a temp again, and was up for ages last night. Not crying, just running through his entire range of words and sounds It lasted an hour.

Also for cherry tree. I know you didn't really have much choice as it was in the way, but it was lovely.

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 14:40

I'm starting to get worried now (far tmi following, be warned).

On Saturday I had sort of dark discharge, last night (when I did my dance) I had proper bright red loss, but only very little. Today I have had a small amount of old looking blood loss.

I feel horrible - very very drained and slightly dizzy.

Do I just assume that my body is a bit messed up and give it a few more days, or go and buy a test? Part of me feels I'm panicking for nothing, but the other part is worrying that if I am pregnant it could all go horribly wrong with the coil still there.

Advice!

Can you get a cheap test just to put your mind at rest?
Superdrug?

Jas · 09/07/2007 14:43

Also check that the coil is still there.

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/07/2007 14:44

Well if you can get one of those 99p tests that CS was on about, then it's gotta be worth it, but if it helps, I had something similar a couple of months or so ago (without the feeling dizzy bit). Have your cycles been regular since getting your coil fitted, or can it send them a bit doolally?

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/07/2007 14:45

Also for the cherry tree, which is lovely.

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 14:48

Was it savers that do the 99p tests? Ooh or I know someone online that I could get stupidly cheap from - would probably turn up about as quickly as I could get to savers anyway.

Will go check the coil is still there in a min!!

All done I've thrown 2 in for you then you've got a spare just in case

Chloe55 · 09/07/2007 19:08

Oh dear Flame, I hope everything is ok with your bodyworks. You look great btw in that picture, I wish weight would drop off me without trying!

Went out into Manchester dressed as a bunny on Sat night for a friend's bday, had a good laugh. We stopped in a hostel which I was a little anxious about but it was fab, felt like a school trip - there were nine of us all on bunk beds!

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 19:12

Thank you - bad weird stomach cramps now

DS has sore ears apparently, but all else is fine. Got to stagger calpol and nurofen and keep an eye on him (oh, and call HV to cancel jabs )

I'm here! Been texting a friend, talking to dh, browsing e-bay, and talking about crocs on here.

How's the tum? Maybe just really bad period pain?

SoupDragon · 09/07/2007 21:05

Oh god, jabs....? Are they due some more that I've forgotten about?? Babydragon had, er, something back in January. Some booster that wasn't the Pneumo one... Oh I'm such a cr*p parent!

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/07/2007 21:06

Sounds like Hib/MenC Soupy. Has she had MMR?

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 21:08

Hoping just really bad period pain - if its not then i am screwed for contraceptives.

Yup, the last jabs BabyDragon would have had were hib/menC - has she had all of the pneumovax (PCV or PVC or summat) ones? That is what he was meant to be having... and MMR some time after that.

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 21:08

Yay i have my bedroom back Just finished sorting it. Dh is pissed off cos he can't get the sky box in our bedroom to work and its all my fault because i disconnected it ?????????

See Flame all you have to do is ask where everyone is and people just turn up

CantSleepWontSleep · 09/07/2007 21:13

Err, mini boden stuff .

SoupDragon · 09/07/2007 21:13

I went for the pneumo booster but I think she ended up having the, er, MenC one instead and you can't have the 2 together. Oh I have no idea. It wasn't MMR though, she won't have that til December.
