They're good films/tv

Ooh ooh - you remember the baby magazine ad thingy I paid for.... I got my first order through someone seeing it

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/07/2007 21:06

Do you have dvd player Jas?

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/07/2007 21:06

Ooh that's good flame. Hope it's a biggy!

Jas · 08/07/2007 21:10

Yay for more nappy sales.

DP cleared out the back of our radiator yesterday and found a blue tie dyes nappy insert, which reminded me how much I loved them. (All mine are washed out now)

Yes I have a dvd player csws.

Flamesparrow · 08/07/2007 21:15

A question now... is Dublin ROI or N Ireland???

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 08/07/2007 21:16

Awww, yours were the dye I later found didn't fix If you wanna bring some to the piss up I will chuck em in to dye whilst we're there!

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 08/07/2007 21:18

Then I'll lend you Shaun of the Dead next time I see you.

ROI flame.

Flamesparrow · 08/07/2007 21:19

I thought so - someone has ordered but only selected standard postage (their billing address is UK which I think gave them the option), going to mean me earning next to nothign for the order.

OP posts:
Frizbe · 08/07/2007 21:20

lol at your dying nappies whilst we're all getting drunk.

Jas I can lend the same one as CSWS, so prob not much point in me offering really! very funny though!

Flamesparrow · 08/07/2007 21:22

I was plannin to chuck em in before we start drinking

Jas · 08/07/2007 21:25

Thanks I'll bring some if I remember. Add it to the list of things to remind me.

That is the only one of those films I had even heard of. If yu recommend it I will borrow and watch it, thanks

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/07/2007 21:33

Yes def worth a watch.

I forgot to say, you know how I always complain that dd won't eat bananas? Well today she asked for one, so I thought here we go, it'll end up being fed to me or smushed and thrown onto the floor. She ate 3/4 of it. Then she aksed for another one. She ate all of it. Then half an hour later she asked for another, and ate the half of it that I gave her .

Frizbe · 08/07/2007 21:35

that's funny CSWS, dd2 scoffed tuna, pasta tonight, but picked all the sweetcorn out to start with, then ate it seperately later? normally she won't touch tuna!

CantSleepWontSleep · 08/07/2007 21:57

Friz - is the bfp on the beanie thread who I think it is?

Flamesparrow · 08/07/2007 22:01

Oh don't be cryptic!!!

DS always picks apart his food - he puts everything he doesn't want to eat on the table, then eats the last food on his plate, and gradually puts the other food back on as he works his way through it

OP posts:
CantSleepWontSleep · 08/07/2007 22:03

Not cryptic! Friz and I 'belong' to another thread which we've been on since pregnancy. Check my recent threads and you'll know who I mean.

Flamesparrow · 08/07/2007 22:05

I checked the thread, just have no idea who "J's mum" is (oooh unless it is someone I know too and you were talking to further down the thread and I really want it to be her!!!)

OP posts:
Jas · 08/07/2007 22:41

I'm guessing someone from (I think) the march thread, who I've never chatted to as such but notice because her ds is often Boy

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 07:58

I feel weird.

Things seem to have pretty much stopped her again and I have a weird stabby stomach pain.

Got massage mock this morning, various childcare issues - I've managed to offend my stepsister/her mum. She was all set to have Emrys for me, then I get a text to say that she has an appointment in town at 11am, she's got a double pushchair, bus etc, its all set. I have to pick him up again at just gone 11 to get back in time for B and then meeting Peachy this afternoon, going to town, finding him, getting back to the car etc... it wasn't doable. Spoke to Psycho, she said she could have him after all, so I text S/M (SS has lost her phone) to say I have managed to sort out someone else, thanks oodles but she doesn't have to do it anymore. The reply came back that SS would have taken good care of him ! I replied saying I knew that, and it was the timing that was a problem... I didn't hear back

Flame. Right, you have to come and live with me for 6 months and make it happen to me. Pleeaaaseee. You look great.

Shaun of the Dead is one of those compulsive films, that you're watching thinking 'this is shit' but you cant help but watch till the end I havent seen it from the very start, but I saw most of it with MrL one night.

Got to go and check my cherry tree in a mo; I have a feeling it wont survive the transplant, as its the wrong time of year. But it wouldnt have survived being right outside the playhouse door for much longer either, so there was no choice!

Found 3 splinters in my hand that I didnt see/get out yesterday; any ideas on pain free removal?! The skin has closed up over them. Eeek.

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 08:37

Soak it first, then ease them out.

for possible tree not surviving.

Believe me - if I knew how I had shrunk, I would share the secret - I spent years trying to do it, then it did it by itself. I could make a fortune in books

OP posts:
mustrunmore · 09/07/2007 08:44

Hmmm. If I rub you or something, will some skinny magic transfer to me?!
How much do you weigh now? I know thats nosey, but I need to know! In imperial, not metric too!

Flamesparrow · 09/07/2007 12:38

Erm... 9st 9 (I think that's the lowest I have ever been as a growed up) and I'm about 5'6''
DS is really not well - cancelled meeting Peachy, taking him to the doc's. He's lost his voice, his temp's up, I really don't think its just teeth now.
