Have really tried to catch up but can't quite get to grips with the new book-style pages, how do I change this?!

Hello All! WEll, we had a 6.15am start on Christmas morning - with a very excited T saying (in his own little way!) Father Christmas has been! it was so very sweet, and what it's all about!
He was thrilled with both the Kitchen and Scooter that the man in red brought, and with all of the other lovely gifts that he had - thanks to the Secret Santa - books always go down a treat here!
Can't believe it's all over to be honest....
Off ot Surrey with my parents for 2 nights tomorrow (with dh & T of course!)
Rodeo - good to have you back!
Diege - should still be up for the ttc in spring(ish) - would prefer a non-winter baby, but these things never go to plan do they!?

Hi girls, hope everyone is enjoying the holidays with family and loved ones. Rodeo, is great to see you again! You have been missed. What's all your news?

We are visiting the 'outlaws' (thanks for that one Beks - do you guys pass the toll bridge and if so, is it going to keep going up??) Not much to say, have much m/s and we're all just getting over our flu. I keep the moans and groans for a/n thread so you are relieved

Got my scan in just over 4 weeks - hurray!

DS2 is walking confidently now with no probs!! hurray!

right should go as ds2 is demanding weetabix oh almost forgot DS2 spent his first night in a grown up single bed last night went vry well, slept right through.We have put a stair gate up at the bedrrom door though,as DS1 used to go walk about at 6am if there was no gate

Right been for a walk (In rain), three wheels is a little strange after 4 but im getting used to it.Diege would def recommend it.DS2 loves it he is higher up in this one and just jiggled up and down pointing at stuff

Having a bit of a nightmare of an evening, Jess can now vault out of her cot , over and over and over again, argh! Didn't want to have to get a bed yet!
Nice to hear all the daily news again Congrats on the new P+T Twinkle! Pooh on the m/s though, Chacha too, how many weeks are you two now? Can't believe Y is walking Chacha! Is he one already?
How was the cinema Diege? Taking Bella, Joe and 2 nephews on Monday, can't decide what to watch, Bee Movie or The Chipmunks?! I would much rather watch I Am Legend to drool over Will Smith, but don't think it's very suitable for children, never mind...
Swapped SS pressie today so now just have to post! Will do it tomorrow! Bye for now, trying to sort my new ipod I got for Christmas, it won't play all my songs seems to have an aversion to Timbaland and Justin Timberlake!

Evening Rodeo, cot vaulting eh olympic star in the making???? We moved josh into a bed last night and he was no trouble, but we put a stair gate on his bedroom door so he cant go walk about We just had a little voice at 7am mummmmmmy??? Daddyyyyyy too cute.But he loves his big fluffy duvet and so far so good tonight.

Morning! Bad night last night with dd3 waking on and off for hours, necessitating several visits! Am inspired by stories of succesful cot-to-bed, so maybe soon! RODEO: film was great thanks, really good. I'd strongly suggest a visit to see it - don't be put off by princessy thing - lots of adventure/dragons, and there were lots of boys there too without their sisters! Plus of course you have the delectable Patrick Demspter to drool over. Ok, more of a 'grower' than Will, but stil v.v.nice
TWINKLE! Let me know how the Magic Compass goes - dh went to see it with a friend and thought it was awful, though as I explained to him, 45 year old men aren't exactly the target audience, lol!

T's also in his big bed & has been for a couple of weeks now and even slept in a pump up bed at my sil's the weekend before xmas. Does tkae us sitting upstairs to get him to stay in the bed but it's a small price to pay really.
Took the cot down yesterday so that's it that me officially finished with babies apparently

I look like the elephant man today as I have the dreaded pink eye, I'm not impressed as I'm having to wear my glasses which I really hate - grrr

Just a quick one, me and Bella are having a girls night in Dp has taken Joe to Sheffield Arena to watch the trial bikes, not really the thing for quashing his stunt bike aspirations in favour for a doctorate, but never mind So anyway, we're watching Ballet Shoes on ntl demand, having just watched a double bill of Robin Hood, which I purely watch for the entralling storyline and not the gorgeous men, obviously!
Let me know what The Golden Compass is like too Twinkle, halfway through the book which is really good (though a bit confusing, and it's a children's book too. The shame !)

Twinkle - Great! I want scan news when you're back please, exciting!!! I'm 8 weeks only but am showing a lot quicker this time - nothing astonishing just didn't show till much later before. Congrats on new P&T!

Rodeo - Good luck with cot transition - DS sleeps in his own bed but like Beks for the past many months I've had to go up with him and pretend to sleep until he nods off. Sometimes after many verses of the song of the evening i fall asleep next to him myself - is an evil trap!

Have to admit, mine was removed and consumed in the interests of child wellbeing from L's section box ; wouldn't dare risk dds 1&2, but L is fair game (and the maltesers were very nice too). It's a case of get rid of the rubbish in the house then the healthy eating plan/exercise plans can commence! .
Hope your eye is feeling a little better BEKS - hate hate hate conjunctivitus it makes you feel really run down I find. Here's hoping it's short lived

Been meaning to post before but everythings been so hectic. Glad everyone had god christmases, thaNKS to our secret santa - I love stripes!!

We had a great christmas, the kids had far to much stuff i've spent 3 days clearing out their old stuff to make room for the new much to ls disgust!Had to go to work on thursday and friday though which was a real bummer, off until 7th jan now though

Good to see you back at last Rodeo, whats the doctorate thing though? Or has it just gone over my congrats for your neice aswell, is she pretty young? You are very young to be a great auntie rodeo!!

Rodeo - My EDD is the 11th and I'm 8 weeks so your niece will be something like 8+3 i think. Congratulations, is it her first?

Diege - Never got my twix DS2 and I crashed on sofa after our bath - I didn't realise how tired i was.

Well after what seemed like months of DS1's lousy eating habits he has started eating properly again..a whole day could pass where he might have had some snack type food and that was it refusing all that was put in front of him. It has been a week now that he has been eating all meals and snacks inbetween - hopefully this was just a stage - had me worried!

DS2 has me up early so shall go and prepare Sunday veg x

Hello! Lol TWINKLE - could see you with 5 actually . Tbh, don't think 5 would be much more work than 4, or 4 than 3 (that's my reasoning anyway)You'll be able to tell me differently though! RODEO: the ds were absorbed with Annie, though dd2 does have a healthy scepticism of musicals, feeling deeply embarasssed on behalf on the singer! Didn't realsise it was the rehashed version - so that's why her hair was straight!!
Not done much today (apart from my third order from mini-boden sale ) though have been putting some thought to New Year's Resolutions! I'll get the ball rolling with mine (in no particular order of importance)

1. To lost the extra 3 quarters of a stone that has creeped on during the year
2. To get some more of my stuff ready for publication, and to continue to be the blue-eyed girl at work ...though my halo might be tarnished by the below...
3. To ttc number 4 by this time next year (the only thing I'll ever share with Jordan,lol).

Hi to all - good to hear from you L&S, and good on you with the clean-out. I started today with the black sacks, but have wimped out and are moving it all to the loft instead. I get really soppy throwing old tedddies in the bin . Hi CHACHA - don't give up on the twix - they are well worth it (it was my first for years). Up to bed now (L bad again last night) and yes we're getting a mattress for the bed tomorrow so L can have her big girl bed at last! Fingers crossed this will be a solution to the night waking!

Hello all....well 2007 is nearly over - I too have been thinking of some NY resolutions Diege - will commit them to MN tomorrow tho!
Well, T has had a really bad few nights on and off - last night, hardly slept at all...in bed asleep by 6.30 tonight, but has woken at least 6 times in the last 40 mins... he is due to stay at mil's tomorrow night, not looking good for that so far.....

Had fab few days away, lush house set in loads of land - T loved it - lots of cars and tractors for him to ride on, chickens to feed and so on - it was great!

Right, hope T will settle agian soon - I am off to trawl the web - hope all are well
