yeah they are for the sickness, they are called cyclizine very good this is the second time i have had them.And you can have rectal or oral

DH is on way home in a traffic jam somwhere in oxfordshire just want him home now.. Feel tired sick and fed up Not realishing the thought of MIL and BIL arriving on sun for god knows how long........ Can cope with them for xmas day then want them to go.This sounds soooo selfish But will have 5 adults and 3 kids!!!! Right sorry will stop moaning now, sorry

Well 3 out of 4 are down here, I have the flu and the boys are non too well, DH is looking after them and I am here in bed with laptop, book, tissues, drinks and of course a bowl....sneeze, cough, vomit, sneeze, cough, vomit lol. Oh Twinkle, hope you get through family visits, have to admit I was the worst host ever yesterday. First day was okay but as the flu and sickness got worse I just wanted everyone gone I didn't even cook!

Why does it feel like i have so much to do and so little time to do it??????? why does time fold in half and all of a sudden christmas is here????? If it was only us 5 i wouldnt care what state the place was in but its not arghhhhhhhhhhh am trying to think where to put current toys so MIL will not trip on them !!!! Black Hole?????

Virtually finished here presents-wise. Just something left to get for Nibbles the hamster, so have a reason to head out on Xmas eve to pet shop with dds and get some fresh air before 48 hours of gluttony, chocolate/screaming children/tiredness induced headaches and general lethargy-sickness. Ho ho ho!!!!

Morning all! Glad you got a bit of respite TWINKLE! Start as you mean to go on! Hmm, treats for chickens?? I know they give them corn on the cobs at our local children's zoo. Off there in a few minutes actually to see santa in his grotto, then have hairdresser herte for 2 hours in afternoon to do roots and highlights - usually look forward to hairdresser, but can't get my head round this mobile business..my only escape out of the house (well, apart from work) gone!!!! .

And im off at 12 tommorow with DH to the NE to sing for the day will be home around 11.30pm so they will have to look after themselves and mind kids.Still throwing up here im so fed up of it now, somehow you forget what it feels like.Was santas groto good ??? did the girls enjoy it??? Mine have never been keen on seeing santa
Any suggestions for how to help bad sinuses while pg????? Taking paracetmol is not helping and would really like to breathe
I sorted out chicken present problem will give them tagliatelli they love pasta!!!

Twinkle you have my sympathies. Have been in bed since yesterday with much of the same, can't keep anything down so body not fighting flu very well. I have one of those lavendar bags from the Body Shop, you stick it in the freezer for ten minutes then place it on eyes/head. Helps my migraines immensely, hope that helps. Have been drinking honey and lemon with some paracetemol but other than that only seem to keep dry toast and pineapple down. The day away will do you the world of good i think. Sometimes breathing space is worth its weight in gold.

Just popping on to say thank you to our secret santa. T's present arrived over the weekend while we were down in Wales with the outlaws

Twinkle & Chacha it really sounds like you're both suffering, hope you both feel better soon. Twinkle have you tried the kids calrub or breatheeasy, might help with the sinuses. T, dh and my mum and dad all have stinking colds and now T goes and gets the stinky stuff himself when he ca't breathe and says rub mummy rub

Nova get your dh a lump of coal and tell that's what naughty children get, what a s*d shopping like that just before Xmas, serves him right if he doesn't get anything now

Well i feel i bit better today, and we are off to NE at 12 looking forward to seeing all my friends and singing Im sure between 3 adults they can manage 3 children for 6hrs!!! As long as they remember to sprinkle the reindeer food and put santa's mince pie and milk out life will be good.We have wrapped all the presents and hid them so all we need to do is get them out when we arrive home about11.30 Well Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas Love Twinkle

Hello all, and a very merry Christmas to all (and a belated Eid to you and yours Chacha - sorry for the delay).

Think we are almost sorted, Santa is getting a mince pie & Sherry, Reindeer get carrot & Milk. Have Santa stop here sign, so he knows where to come! and apparently we need to sprinkle magic dust (glitter) so Santa can see where to land (this is according to my god children!)

Of to my inlaws this afternoon, then back tonight, T to bed & get presents under the tree. Gosh it's all go hey!

Hope all poorly ones get better soon - specially the adults, by gosh we need a relaxing time hey girls!

May Santa bring you all your hearts desire, and a bit more besides. GG Hope your 2008 just gets better and better - you certainly deserve more....

Hello to everyone! Just about sorted here too, though trip to village was a bit of a nightmare with the rain and supermarket crowds! Major nightmare last night...I must have had a psychic moment as I felt the need to go and check the 'Ickle Pickle trike' that dh picked up weeks ago from Argos. Turned out they'd given us the skooter instead, cue mad panic, frantic searching of argos branches, only to find one in good old Wrexham . DH set off early before work to exchange (and got compo too for having to make a 70 miles trip to get there and back to work)...just so relieved I thought to check. A bit at dh never to have checked when he picked it up, especially as that's the only bit of xmas 'shopping' he's done this year! Ah well, could have been loads worse!
TWINKLE - sounds like you have a good plan there - good luck with the singing and trip there and back . Looking forward to meeting up in the new year too. BROWNIE, sounds hectic but fun! Still up to ttc in Spring? Hello and festive good wishes to all; not sure I'll be on tomorrow (though you never know We're spending the day at my parents, with all the cousins - should be good fun, if exhausting! I'm just praying for a tiny bit of rest tonight, maybe a 6am start please santa, rather than last years 4.45?? Please??
