Hello?

Evening All,

Princess et al - A is generally great and sleeps form 7pm to 6am and has done since 3 months, apart form small stint at 5 months and when her teeth are really sore - like just now.

Kiansmam - when is your actual due date? Is this pg very different from last for you?

Pg ladies - hormones have a lot to answer for do they not? Just remember that even if you feel fat and horrid you are performing the most amazing miracle every day and you will get back to feeling like a sex kitten again

Okay okay I felt the most unattractive ever when pg and my DH thought so too - although he never said it I could tell - but hey I am trying to make you all feel better and to realise how special as women we all are!

A had her first morning at nursery and loved it. There is a book festival on here in September so I think I will take her along to the musci festival wokshop - do any of you ladies take LOs to music workshops? She is lucky as her Daddy plays guitar and sings, Mummy sings too - just very badly she does not care though!

I reckon we need another thread now - this one is getting HUGE! How does
countdown to 1 a month to run sound?

Music festival workshop - sounded like some kind of Chinese wok-drum workshop in the last post!

Hi Rumpel,
I'm really pleased A enjoyed nursery. You wait she'll have a better social life than you soon!!!!
I haven't taken Kai to any music workshops yet but his daddy is a DJ and Kai loves watching and listening to him when he's on his mixing decks.
My due date for this one is October 2nd but they might induce me a week early due to my SPD. Hopefully they will! Kai will be 1 on October 13th so it would be nice to have a September baby instead of 2 October babies.
LOL at the feeling like a sex kitten again one day. Maybe i should stay away from him. It was feeling like that that produced 2 babies in a year
You're right tho it is a great thing producing children. I won't be doing it again tho!!

samsmam · 30/08/2007 07:48

Glad A enjoyed nursery Rumple.
I have to go back to work in three weeks and still haven't found a child minder for a Thursday. Mum is doing it on Mondays and Fridays but Thursdays is a problem.
The way I'm feeling I don't know how I'm going to make it back to work.

Effieperine- I have got an appointment booked for Tuesday morning see if I can be brave enough to let him know how I'm feeling.

Dates for meet up any day except Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays! I think I can walk from Charing Cross station or am I on the wrong side of the river?

babyducky · 30/08/2007 08:50

hi all,

hope your all ok.

glad she enjoyed nursery rumpel.

Kai has now took his 1st steps! Yeah!

Very very wobbly though!

re sleeping he has always been so good at night, slept from 11pm till 8am from when he was a week old! Then 7 till 7 from about 2 months, but now he has started to wake up around 1am, dunno why!

George is a lovely name, like charlotte for a girl. I think girls names are much harder than boys! Me & dp never agreed on one!

anyway have a good day all.

gingeme · 30/08/2007 10:47

More first steps. All these early walkers. My sister said her friends lo was 1 yesterday and she was walking form 9 months I guess if they want to walk theyll walk. Simple as that realy. Great news on the nursery front Rumple. Its lovely when they interact with other lo's.
Lo's got his second little cherub photo session next Tuesday. Cant believe its 4 months already. Just hope he doesnt reck the joint. Hes been a pretty good sleeper from about 3 months I guess. But then I think it helped him having to fit in with ds3's bedtime routine. He pretty much sleeps from 7.30 to 7.30. Except this morning when ds3 decided to shout at him at 6.50 this morning to wake him up.
Wearing my hillbilly maternity dungarees today. Not particularly flattering but oh so comfy
Well have a good day all xx

EffiePerine · 30/08/2007 13:40

I can't make any weekday except Wednesday (unless you meet in Covent Garden at lunchtime!). The 12th would be OK for me.

Samsmam: hope your appointment next week goes OK . Good luck with the return to work.

gingeme · 30/08/2007 13:53

12th anyone?
Just in case you wanted to see some pics Ive just discovered after being on mumsnet about a year how to upload pics, Feel free to have a butchers.

EffiePerine · 30/08/2007 13:55

LOVE the pics Gingeme . Isn;t DS4 getting big?

gingeme · 30/08/2007 13:57

Big! Hes bloody huge. Thanks. Cant believe it was so easy and I didnt do it sooner. Cant put my scan pic up though because we dont have a scanner.

samsmam · 30/08/2007 15:42

How about the following Wednesday is your DH still on AL Gingeme? Think thats the 19th? I am being a pain I know!

Lovely pictures BTW, take a photo with your camera of your scan pics that might work!

Rumpel · 30/08/2007 15:55

Hi All,

GINGEME - oooh they are cute aren't they? Your 2 older boys look like each other and the 2 younger ones look like each other. Wonder what No 5 will look like?

Well, A had me up from 2am to 4am this morning - bloody teeth. Still Dh is away so life is a bit easier - less tidying up to do.

Managed to actually start my dissertation this morning - amazing Only another 9500 words to go.

Wonder how Emilyandlola is? Hope she is ok as she was a bit down emotionally.

Well need to go as A is sleeping and I need to get on with studying. Am on the PC and I just can't get used to the big clumpy keyboard - the laptop has a much nicer keyboard but no apostrophes.

wuzzlefraggle · 30/08/2007 16:51

hiya Rumpel, hope you dont mind hun, but I just took a peek at your profile. I love Anne Rice and Terry Pratchett!!

Gingeme and Rumel, your lo's are bloomin' gorgeous!

If I wasnt such a cretin I'd add a piccy of Anna

gingeme · 30/08/2007 17:36

Erm samsam I am actualy going on another meet up on the 19th with the Due in Jan thread.

gingeme · 30/08/2007 17:39

Unless you dont mind meeting up with the January ladies? We could swap birth storys[hm]

EffiePerine · 31/08/2007 08:58

We could do a mega meet up if they didn't mind...

gingeme · 31/08/2007 14:06

That was my thoughts exactly. Well it was hd's actualy. Is everyone ok with the 19th then? Picadilly Circus Pizza Express? I think we know where that is?

gingeme · 31/08/2007 14:53

Right I have put it by the Due in Jan ladies and they have said ok. So its 19th September, Pizza Express Picadilly Circus. Only thing were stuck on is a time. The Jan ladies have asked for an evening thread which is fine with me but what do you call evening?

EffiePerrin where do I get the number to book a table please?

gingeme · 31/08/2007 15:22

7pm as a loy of ladies work till 5.30-6. What do you reckon?

Rumpel · 31/08/2007 20:06

Hi All,

WUZZ - you finally got me to update my profile - thanks! I think TP is genius - just love the way he takes real events and issues and mixes them up into discworld - he is amazingly intelligent and imaginative. Did you know that he is also THE most stolen author (from libraries etc)

I tried to add more photos but A is very poorly today - she has caught a stinking cold, so needed loads of Mummy love and snot wiping today - poor wee soul between her teeth and the cold she is becoming a calpol junkie

DH arrived home and we have a trip to A + E tomorrow - ah new home new hospitals, we have toured most of them on the West coast now. After his accident I noticed that he had soemthing still stuck in him (his back). Now, after 4 years it has started to push out and has turned into a HUGE abcess type thing, so we need to go tomorrow and get it excavated! I think it is a bit of glass but it will be interesting to see what comes out.

You need to take piccies at the meet-up again and let the rest of us see how all you and your LOs are?

GINGEME/SAMSMAM/KIANSMAM/PRINCESS - are the other ante-natals as nice as us lot?

Night all - off to watch BB.

EffiePerine · 01/09/2007 08:25

Gingeme: should be on the Pizza Express website. Think I can make that evening but would need to check with my babysitter (DH!). Not riskin a grumpy DS and an evening event.
