samsmam · 15/08/2007 11:22

Kai looks soooo cute in his football kit. Lovely pictures.

babyducky · 15/08/2007 14:51

thanks samsmam,
how are you? Have u decided if your gonna find out if your having pink or blue?

had to take kai to a & e yesterday, he fell & banged his head, had a huge bump, had to have an x ray, poor thing, all fine though.

hows everyone else?

kiansmum · 15/08/2007 23:01

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all ok.

Babyducky, i've desperately tried to see your photos of your little man but can't work out how to do it(i'm sooo thick when it comes to computers!)
Samsmam, how did you manage to see them please?

babyducky · 15/08/2007 23:22

hi kiansmum,

highlight the address, right click & press copy then right click on the address bar thingy & press paste, should come up!

I am thick with computers too!!

how are you?

samsmam · 16/08/2007 07:48

Here

And here

Hope you don't mind me doing this for you.

babyducky · 16/08/2007 07:50

thanks samsmam, I'm rubbish at things that like!

how are things with you?
x

samsmam · 16/08/2007 07:51

Not sure on the pink or blue finding out thing yet! I keep changing my mind. Got my dating scan next Friday then I'll have 7 weeks until the scan where I need to decide!

Hope all the bumped babies are ok and you Gingeme!

Got to go back to work on Sept 17th, dreading it to be honest but at least I know its only for 3 months.

samsmam · 16/08/2007 07:53

I'm ok thanks well- yesterday I had some bleeding and was in casualty, I think everything is ok but got to wait for them to ring from the scanning department to check everything is ok for sure.

taffy101 · 16/08/2007 21:01

samsmam, hope everything is ok for you
I'm sure if they were really worried they would have admitted you

Rumpel · 16/08/2007 21:09

Samsmam hope you are okay - sending good vibes your way. I would be undecided too about the blue/pink scan with the second one. I think I would like rather wait and see what I got though. It is very exciting (the purest moment of joy I ever felt).

My LO has finally stood up hurrah! She can stand holding onto to something (we do not have any table yet so only discovered she could do this when she was at friends who has a coffee table) Now I let her lean against the wall here to strengthen her legs.

Have had HECTIC week again. Was at the old house Monday/Tuesday to clean it and leave it dressed, see estate agent etc. Was FURIOUS with Dh as he left it in a right tip and I had to do everything including the bloddy garden. A went to a friends then when I got her back that evening she just screamed and cried until 9.30pm and then was the same the next day. Agggg! was hell. Soon as we got home she was

Very difficlut trying to get her in a nursery here too. I only need a full day Wednesday but after phoning several am going to visit another one tomorrow so I am hoping they can take her.

How are all you pg ladies feeling? still sick and tired?

My Mum bought A a pool for the garden but as the weather has been so atrocious I bought her balls for it instead. Have not tried them yet.

Must go off to bed now - take care all.x

Hi everyone,

Thanks ever so much for doing the link for me to see babyduckys Kai. He is absolutely gorgeous.(he also supports the best football team already and has the same kit as our Kai!)
That is another reason our little girl will be called Chelsea when she's born, and i've always loved the name.(sad aren't we!)

I'm fine thanks. Hope you are all ok too.
Samsmam, sorry to hear about your bleeding, i'm sure everything will be fine. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Pg is such a worry isn't it. I can't wait til mines over(5 weeks to go!)
Rumpel, LO is off now then and no stopping her. This is when the fun starts!!!
Off to bed now as i've had a hectic day putting up curtains and blinds and building flat-packed furniture!
Take care all.x

samsmam · 17/08/2007 08:03

LO loves mummy's homemade spaghetti bolognese!!

Here

Well I had my scan and baby is growing nicely, due date 29th February so dates agree with size of baby. I have a low lying placenta so that may be where the bleeding is from. Hope the placenta moves otherwise its c-section for me. Plenty of time yet.
Very scary stuff this pg lark I'm even more nervous and paranoid than first time.

kiansmum · 17/08/2007 09:54

Hi everyone,

Oh, Samsmam i'm sooo pleased everything went ok at your scan. Time'll go so quick for you with this pg as you're running around after LO and before you know it little bean will be here! That's what i've found this time. It's like i don't have time to even think about being pg!!(lol)

Hope everyone else is ok. Have a good day.x

babyducky · 17/08/2007 10:13

hey all,

thanks kiansmum, yeah best team! Dp cant wait to take him to a game!
not long left for you then, 5 weeks!

glad everything was ok samsmam, lovely pic! She such a cutie!

having a boring day today staying in waiting for some argos stuff to be delivered,
hope everyones ok, xxx

taffy101 · 17/08/2007 22:37

samsmam - glad everything ok. (cute pic by the way!)I had low lying placenta with both my pgs - the last one managed to move out of the way 2 weeks before due date! I had psyched myself up for a c-section and was quite happy with the prospect and when it moved (it doesn't actually move, but as your uterus expands it kinda lifts with it) I then had to psyche myself up for the pain of labour! but don't worry too much about it, whatever will be will be, babe has to get out somehow. With dd1, it meant i didn't feel her movements much so was quite nervous as i hadn't felt her move even at 20 weeks, but of course the placenta was cushioning all the movements iyswim.

gingeme · 18/08/2007 16:00

Hi ladies. Im back from my parents today. Had a nice week. Bumps getting bigger now 19+1 weeks. Looking pregnant now and not just fat.
Sorry havnt had time to read through the whole thread. Glad your scan went well samsam and your lo is just yummy
Lo gave us a fright and ate a chunk of my Mums pretend coal form her pretend fire. We rang NHS direct and they looked on their poisons list and he was fine. Just looked like he had black lipstick on
He spent the week trying to get my Mums cat who very wisely sat on the side in the kitchen most of the time and lo just shouted at him to come down. Didnt work though
Its my 6th wedding Aniversary today. Were going out for chinese later.
Hope you are all well. xxx

kiansmum · 18/08/2007 23:05

Hi ladies,
Hope you're all ok and have had a good day
Samsmam, your dd is a little cutie and she looks like she really enjoyed mummies spag bol!(bless her!)
Gingeme, hope you enjoyed your chinese tonight and congrats on your wedding anniversary. Glad you had a good week at your parents and that the pg is going well.
Babyducky, Hope you're ok. Are you watching the Chelsea game tomoz? My DP has subscribed to sky sports today just so he can watch it!!

babyducky · 19/08/2007 16:00

hi all,

glad u had a nice time gingeme.

yep kiansmum just bout to watch it, we were gonna be going to it but i didn't wanna leave kai over night yet, maybe next time.

have you all left your lo's for a whole night yet, I'm just too worried, dunno why!

hope your all having a nice weekend.x

kiansmum · 19/08/2007 21:11

Babyducky, i know what you mean about leaving Kai. I said to my DP tonight that i don't know what we'll do with our Kai when i go in to hospital to have Chelsea. I'm seriously thinking about taking him with us as i've not left him before and he's a real mummmys boy.
All my past labours have only been just over 2 hours long and i leave hospital as soon as i'm allowed so hopefully this one wouldn't be any different. I don't know what to do for the best really. If you were having another one now what would you do?

babyducky · 19/08/2007 22:47

dunno what i'd do! Yeah hopefully u will have another quick labour!

Hopefully by the time we do have another one i'll be ok with leaving him,

have u got msn?

gingeme · 20/08/2007 09:05

Good morning ladies. Right weve got roughly 2 monthsish till our lo's are a whole year old. I think we need to start thinking about a Birthday meet up. Any ideas?
Hope your all doing ok. Has been real quiet on here of late......

samsmam · 20/08/2007 11:23

Morning. Yes its ony 7 weeks yesterday till my LO's 1st Birthday! I started buying the banners and stuff already, pretty scary. Having to write birthday wish lists for DP's family at least that way I know LO will get some nice stuff- chosen by mummy originally!

Not sure what to do for 1st birthday meet up. Somewhere large and spacious. I'll be working on Monday, Thursday and Fridays from 17th September so Tuesday and Wednesdays are only good days for me. x

gingeme · 20/08/2007 11:27

Thats a good idea samsam. Not sure weather to combine lo's birthday with Halloween as its quite near. Though Im sure hell be invited to a halloween party too.

Come on ladise any ideas? We might even have some walking by then .

gingeme · 22/08/2007 11:23

Oh dear its very quiet here lately. Is everyone on holiday? Or been washed away by all this horrid rain? Hello hello anyone home?????
