Skott will have to join mumsnet in his own right, I'm sure we'd benefit from a young uncle's perspective!

Emmymummy · 05/06/2007 07:29

Katy - glad you're, how frightening for you.

Well had the most SHIT night since shit was invented last night. Feeding ev 1-2hrs, wtf is going on? Is anyone else still getting this?

Sexonknackeredlegs · 05/06/2007 07:40

Morning all.

Katy, really sorry to hear about the car incident. How frightening for you both.

Hi EM, sorry you had a shit night, and hope you can get a rest today.

We had anther good one I have to say, although K took a while to settle in the evening. She also woke at 6.00, which I know is amazing, but it has been 7.00 the last 3 mornings, so a bit of an early start.
She is asleep again so better go and grab a shower. Was applying make up with her in my arms yesterday a.m. which was tricky.

Hope everyone is ok.

eca, hope you are ok and the mastitis is clearing up.

Love to all.

Morning everyone!
Had a good night with T, he slept from 9.30 to about 7 with about an hour and a half at 2.30 where he wanted:
feeding
nappy changing
a play with his baby gym
to get rid of his hiccups
a bit of a cuddle
and finally...
a sleep

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 05/06/2007 08:10

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 08:14

Thanks Dippy
We're having a polar bear suit day (or at least morning)

claricebean · 05/06/2007 09:20

Morning all. Poor you, katy that sounds terrifying. I'm glad you had a good night and are both fine now.

EM - hugs for your night. Shit was invented a while ago, so it must've been pretty, well, shit really

Hi SOKL and Dippy

We had our usual good night ONCE it started. Half midnight again . R does seem to sleep ALL the time except for the two hours preceeding her nighly sleep. Prhaps she has discovered this is the best time to get my full attention.

Hope you all have a lovely day and the weather improves. 38 degrees here yesterday

oooggs · 05/06/2007 09:27

Morning all, taking the tribe to clinic today to get dt's weighed. Tuesdays are my worse day, I have all three of them on my own til 4pm. It is really testing!!! and thats just James

Weather looks lovely down 'ere so going to walk which is easier than taking the car and having to carry to car seats and supervise James through the car park, anyway I need the exercise.

Hope you all have a great day xx

oooggs · 05/06/2007 09:28

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 05/06/2007 09:58

Hello again - finally managed to settle P so have two Sleeping Beauties & one at Pre-School - Ahhhhh, peace & quiet .....

Sexonknackeredlegs · 05/06/2007 10:02

Morning CB, CD, and Ooogs.

Wow, 38 degrees - that is HOT!

Ooogs, good luck at the clinic. I should get my lazy arse down there really, but find it such a pain sitting waiting to be seen. May wait until next Tuesday.

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 10:02

so jealous!
T is doing his usual morning activity of looking incredibly tired, but too interested in what's going on to sleep. He's asleep in my arms finally, wonder if it'll last?

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 10:02

He just hiccuped and woke himself up!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 05/06/2007 10:10

Hello T!

octo · 05/06/2007 10:13

morning! one handed

katy - we were hit from behind 2 yrs ago with boys in car - car was written off - i was so shocked - cried for about 2 weeks. whiplash takes about 48 hours to kick in - you must go to your gp if you get it so is on your medical record - really important. you should also get a new car seat - my insurance company paid for ours.

must go poo explosion!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 05/06/2007 10:23
oooggs · 05/06/2007 11:32

survived the walk to clinic - now feeding time again. Will post weights when they have finished troughing!!!

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 11:51

Hi octo, I take it you were all fine, apart from whiplash? Very scary
I'm wondering if t is a bit sore as I've had a couple of pain screams. have contacted the health visitor.
Off out this afternoon to get a new seat - if anyone else is buying a new one pls see my thread in Products

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 05/06/2007 11:55

Poor you Katy, good idea to contact HV if you're concerned. xx

LOL @ troughing ooogs!!

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 11:59

We're "weighting" oooggs!
It terrifies me when i look at t (somewhere about 9lb8) that some women GIVE BIRTH to babies his size
Hopefully he's asleep and i can shower

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 12:03

i was going to suggest poo explosion for our next title
Might it put people off their cornflakes?

oooggs · 05/06/2007 12:06

very good Katy!!!

Erin is 11lb 5oz and Jack 13lb 1.5oz and they are 9 weeks and 5 days old.

Jack seems huge but James was bigger, they are easy to compare as same birth weight, born same day of week and same clinic day

Hope everyone else is having a sunny day

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 12:09

big babies!

oooggs · 05/06/2007 12:15

dh is 6'4" and I am 5' 8", I get asked why James isn't at school he is tall and speak well for 3.5 so what more can I expect
