afternoon all

There must've been a full moon or something, because me and dh argued too. A big one too on Friday He decided to clear out the cupboard under the stairs, the weekend before and threw out the following -

1 pair of trainers
1 pair of casual flip flops
1 pair of sandals
1 bag

AND THEY WERE ALL MINE

I only found out when putting rubbish out. Then he tried to tell me that he hadn't seen me wear them for ages - but you don't wear sandals in the winter arghhhhhh FFS! The trainers were my outdoor/washing the car/gardening type ones (no major loss, but means I have wear good shoes for that, or not do it all)

Turned into full blown argument, bringing up the same stuff (if I don't do it/organise it, things don't get done, doesn't think before he does stuff etc)that left me crying
I don't expect a thank you everytime I put the washing on, but it would be nice if he thought about me occassionally. His answer is that he thinks about me all the time, which is why he works such long hours

Anyway - on a better note - J is sleeping better (although has got impetigo atm) and W fed at 10pm last night, slept til 2, had a v quick feed, then fed at 5, and didn't wake until 7 - yay

liath · 04/06/2007 14:00

Eek, throwing out shoes is way out of order!

Kneehighinnappies · 04/06/2007 14:13

Hello Thank you for the text SOSKL. Sorry I have beeen away for so long, I know last time I was on i was having a crappy time, and that was partly why I haven't been on although things have improved and I am feeling better.

I have been really busy, all the dc's came down with a cold at the same time which was great fun and what with trying to get the garden sorted for dd1 party on saturday I haven't had a spare moment.
Also have also been begged to do some work for the company i work for, as they are coming to the end of the project they have been doing and the temp can't deal with all the work, in fact she has all the books in such a bad state they have offered me a 5 figure bonus if I can get it all sorted out, so I am working my little arse off trying to get it done, which means the DT's are getting stuck in their swings and DD1 is going to bed alot

Thanks for all the concern you guys are so sweet.

I will be back on again soon just have to get this work sorted out can't afford not to get it done.

Hello! Feels like I haven´t been on in ages although really it´s probably only been a couple of days (or was it yesterday?! lol). Eca sorry to hear you are having a hard time with breastfeeding again and you too Liath, as you know it´s a topic close to my heart at the moment so I do feel a particular sympathy for anyone similarly suffering. Hope it gets better soon, for all of us!

Sympathies in general, actually, to everyone having a hard time in one way or another, dhs, sleepless nights, difficult toddlers etc etc. It is so good to be able to come here and unload, like a release valve or something..

It´s all going fine here, more or less, the weather is a bit pants but seeing as I barely get out to enjoy it, I guess it really makes little difference. STILL haven´t got around to going shopping so am still wearing my very stretched and baggy maternity jeans. So depressing. My old jeans don´t fit still and don´t want to wait for them to. The bump band trick didn´t really work for me.. So very much needing to buy some new jeans at the very least so I can walk around without having to hitch my pants up with every other step (i don´t like belts much). N is a sweetheart, he has the odd moany day but on the whole he is lovely, can´t wait for his first smile..

I just reread my post and it sounds very blaaah. Things are actually going pretty well, am very very lucky with dh - he is by far the tidier of the two of us and borders on OCD at times, he can´t STAND things being out of place/untidy so spends much of his (little) free time tidying up/ washing dishes/ hanging up laundry etc. In this house it´s him that gets frustrated with me demanding why I have 3 pairs of jeans on the bedroom floor and why I can´t hang them up or put them for washing?! Yes, I do appreciate him very very much.

Kisses to you all..x

Aaaarrrrggghhhh. Frustrating day here as F has just whinged continuously. All she has wanted to do today is be attached to my boobies which is not particularly convenient for doing the school run, making dinner etc. Also dreading tomorrow as she has her first injections. Not looking forward to it at all.

Hope everyone is having a good day. Good to see you KHIN, glad you are doing ok.

runnyhabbit · 04/06/2007 19:00

I love my dh v v much. But....

RANT ALERT

Dh got home about 5ish, which is an early finish for him. Had dinner already for him, and after he finished it, we just chilled on the sofa with J & W, having a bit of a chitchat about the day etc. Told dh that J hadn't had a nap all day, so not to let him fall asleep, just put him to bed a bit earlier than usual (normally does the trick)otherwise there will trouble at bedtime. Went to get washing in, and come back into lounge to find dh & J sleeping, and W on the bean chair crying his heart out Poked dh to wake J up, took W upstairs for a cuddle (turned into a feed)
About half an hour later, dh carries a whingy J into our bedroom saying "this little boy's tired" and he needs his bath. No shit
J is whingy because he got into a deep sleep, then got woken to have a bath, then to be told he needs to go to sleep again. I'd be v whingy too.

Wtf is it with men atm?

runnyhabbit · 04/06/2007 19:01

Just realised that I've ranted about dh twice today

EllieK · 04/06/2007 19:06

Good evening all

Men just simply think differently to women - sometimes they don't think at all and lots of the time what they think is total tosh (apologies for grammar!)

EllieK · 04/06/2007 20:01

Sexonknackeredlegs · 04/06/2007 21:08

Hiya Skott, lovely to see you.
Where is everyone? Have you all got lives whilst I was watching Corry?!

Emmymummy · 04/06/2007 21:19

Oh dear, we seem to have inadvertently started a dh slagging-off thread. Fingers crossed they improve by tomorrow hey!

runnyhabbit · 04/06/2007 21:29

just a quick post before bed

Em - I know I hate ranting about dh. But sometimes I think its better to let off steam here than in rl, iyswim.

I know I'm very lucky to have him [soppy emoticon]

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 04/06/2007 23:42

What a horrible day
My car was ran into on my way home
Luckily we were both fine but I was absolutely beside myself until he was checked over at the hospital

EllieK · 05/06/2007 00:08

OP posts:
Katy44 · 05/06/2007 00:13

I've just had a glass of wine - sure T will appreciate it too
I feel OK now, but I was just so worried he was hurt, he screamed so loud when the car hit us
THANK GOD (and I have been) he's OK and being his usual cheeky self
How are you at the moment?

Katy44 · 05/06/2007 00:21

Well I'd better go to bed, T has been asleep since 10 so I'll probably only get a couple of hours until the next feed (this is one night I really won't mind being woken up!)
Ellie, which of your sons was speaking french? If it was Matthew, I'm extremely impressed, if it was Joe I'm ... well, calling the Guinness Book of Records or something

EllieK · 05/06/2007 00:22
