evening all - still not recovered from last nights lack of sleep - so going to sit in garden with dh and have nice glass of wine.

Nutty - will post wraps in morning - the Jo fold is a good one to move on to - will email you a folding sheet

Maveta - great news about the tongue tie

CD - 9.30 am

See you all tomorrow xxx

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 10/06/2007 20:50

Evening all!

You're welcome to discuss composting with me anytime nutty, my dear - I love my composter!!

How sad am I!!?

Erm. I dunno what the fold I use with my Terries is - you fold two opposing corners to the middle and then align the remaining two corners along the top to make a "triangle with a flat head" sort of shape - If that makes any sense at all!!!!? here's a comprehensive guide to lots of different folds with pictures .... they can probably explain it much better than I ever could!!

How has everyone's weekends been?? DH is on paternity leave this week ........

Katy44 · 10/06/2007 20:58

CD have you just had another baby?
I didn't realise you could defer paternity leave, good idea though

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 10/06/2007 21:07
  • Another baby - not right now - scary thought .....

You can take your paternity leave up to 6 weeks after the baby is born .... as P was born over a Bank Holiday, DH took a few days annual leave when P was born (so not to lose his Bank Holiday) and is taking his paternity now ...

Does that make any sense at all!!!!? Probably not ......

Katy44 · 10/06/2007 21:33

Yes it did - we had a similar dilemma but I didn't realise you could put it off. Not that we would I don't think.
Glad you've not had another baby when no-one was looking

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 10/06/2007 21:48

No - definitely not!

weeonion · 10/06/2007 21:54

oops lazyemma - how remiss of me. it went out of my mind that you were over the forth bridge! it'd be good to get us all together!

octo · 10/06/2007 21:55

dh going to give ds3 a bottle later so can get a long sleep in - shoudl really go to bed!

LesleyR · 10/06/2007 22:04

Was distracted by mention of beer Octo when you said Dh was giving ds3 a bottle later I thought booze not milk!

Def time for bed

G has got jabs tomorrow and we've been invited to a teddy bears picnic in the afternoon. Not sure it'll be doable after nasty needles and considering that I suspect he has an allergy. We'll see.

Goodnight all.

WestCountryLass · 10/06/2007 22:42

Leo has another cold and has been in a state all day. I have not been able to put him down and resorted to giving him some calpol earlier even though he is not 3 months for a couple of weeks. I went to bed with him this afternoon so am now not tired - arrggh - but should try and get some shut eye...

zazas · 10/06/2007 22:56

Just a hi from me - read all the posts so up todate but not much energy to post myself. Busy weekend - we also had a wedding which was lovely. Then took the kids to a festival performance last night no one to bed until midnight so all a bit shattered today.

Oh I just remembered - hope the breastfeeding is better maveta after N snip - well done for perserving. BF has clicked into place for me after 6 weeks and it is great especially in this hot weather - well english hot weather!

Have to sleep........ night

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 11/06/2007 00:07

Boo! Just expressing a feed, then off to bed myself.....

weeonion · 11/06/2007 04:39

good morning folks. up expressing in the early daylight..... looks like it'll be a lovely one

Katy44 · 11/06/2007 06:51

morning everyone

Sexonknackeredlegs · 11/06/2007 07:18

Morning all.

Lesley, hope the jabs go ok today.

WCL, I thought you could give them Calpol from 2 months - sure that's what it says on the box..

Zaza's, sounds like you had a wonderful weekend.

Hope everyone has had good sleeps. K slept until 6.15 and dh got up with her. Shattered though as B was up at 3.00 - only for a drink, but took me an age to get back to sleep.

Dh away tonight with work, and am already dreading the bedtime routine for the 2 of them.

Having real trouble with B at the moment.

Need to get on. See you all later.xx

You can give homeopathic remedies from birth - also can't overdose on them - pulsatilla is good for blocked noses - just crush up the little tablets and pop them in their mouth.

Camomilla is also great for teething (teetha powders) but you can also give it to them for general restlessness and grouchiness - the homeopath said that when they cry and it makes you feel irritable rather than going ahh poor thing - that is when to give camomilla!

I have a whole list of stuff - do you want me to email it out to you all? If yes - someone needs to email me the up to date list of emails and I will reply to all.

Having quiet day at home - going to feed ducks this afternoon

AngeG · 11/06/2007 10:30

Yes please Octo have just sent an email with up to date contacts

Got to go crying baby xx

Pesha · 11/06/2007 11:48

Maveta - really glad feeding seems to be going better now. You've done so well persevering this far through it all, hopefully now you'll start to see just how worthwhile it's all been

Oh poo have forgotten everything else Im getting by on very little sleep at the mo (as we all are wsith possible exception of SOL! ) and really dont feel tired, plenty of energy and feel fine EXCEPT my brain just is not working properly, crap memory, concentration, intelligence, ability to form um sentences that make sense and remember big words!!

Have not been giving dylan very many baths as they dry his skin out loads (and did with ds1 too) and he screamed throughout but last night he really seemed to enjoy it and i gave him massage after which he really enjoyed and seemed amazed by, wide eyed throughout

Email would be great thanks octo
