just 1 tog (18-36 month). Need another but just can't warrant spending another 30 on something he'll only be in for a few months. Ds had a snugglesac which is just waiting for ds2 to hop into when the weather changes.

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/05/2007 22:14

Does 18 months count as 'just a few' now then?

Very funny thread worth a read.

KelBelle · 31/05/2007 22:38

I'm glad you like the sleeping bags ladies, I thought they were lovely. I seem to have a sleeping bag addiction and a pj addiction for DS!!!! I bought another 2.5 tog so I have 3 now, I have a fleecy one though which will be too warm for summer which is why I bought another one. I might get another one though I really like them!!! I bought the whale one but the jungle one looks sweet!!

Thanks for the bicarb and vinegar hints, I will give them a go. Do I put the bicarb in warm water or just sprinkle it on the carpet and then hoover off?

KelBelle · 31/05/2007 22:39

Forgot to mention that a proportion of the profits for those bags go to The miscarriage Association and Babyloss so hopefully that will be enough to make you not feel guilty buying another sleeping bag!!! hehehehe

CantSleepWontSleep · 31/05/2007 22:46

'a proportion of the profits' - the cynic in me says that'll be about 2p per bag then. Tell you what, I'll buy my orig grobags and donate 10p to make myself feel better .

I love pjs too Kel. DD got 2 pairs from the White Company for Christmas, and we bought some divine ones from JoJo. Her White Co ones are getting small now though, so might have to buy some replacements soon.

Phoenix · 31/05/2007 22:53

I love pj's too. The best ones that ds has are from Primark. They wash really nice and are cheap. I bought 1 pack expecting them to be crap then went back and bought evey design

Flame · 31/05/2007 22:58

How does the snugglesac work??

OP posts:
KelBelle · 31/05/2007 23:01

I have some Primark ones too Phoenix, I was like you and bought one pack then went back and bought some more!!! DS has about 8 pairs of PJ's he is currently in and I already have 6 pairs in 18-24 months!!! I do normally buy bits in the sales though and not at full price!!

Phoenix · 31/05/2007 23:03

They just look like sleeping bags not grobags. Look at this one

Frizbe · 31/05/2007 23:24

aww that's cute Phoenix
Think I'll stick with our gro bags for now though, as we have two keeping us ticking along nicely. If dd2 is anything like dd1, once she gets out of sleeping bags, she'll not want anything to sleep under bar a fleece blanket anyway
Christ, I can hear dh snoreing from here (downstairs dining room) how the hell am I going to be able to sleep next to that racket?
So nothing really been going on then?
dd2 chucked up at dinner, hoping it was a one off? she's never ever thrown her dinner up before

Frizbe · 31/05/2007 23:25

oooh Flame, yessss, we're coming down!!! what day would you like to see us, will be down mon-sat!! cheekey or what! have already informed dh, if your dh is about he can talk wow at him

2boysmacca · 01/06/2007 07:43

csws, he'll be put in the snugglesac come September, so yes a few months

Well weather looks good today, let's hope it holds as I want to get my washing out on the line. I'm sick of using the tumble dryer.

Right, I'm going to tackle the ironing before I hit the gym. Wish me luck, I may get lost underneath it all!!!

Flame · 01/06/2007 08:26

Was the really necessary Pnix??? He will NOT sleep in it, and now I need one!!

Friz - Told DH that he will be bonding with your DH whether he wants to or not He has Friday afternoons off

Hi everyone, Haven't been around on these threads much but saw the title and had to join in! Alex is grumpy as this week - cutting 4 new teeth. Apart from that he is doing really well. Thoroughly spoilt by everyone and very, very cheeeky! He can say a couple of words but there isn't much incentive to talk when you are surrounded by doting women! He loves posting - dd2's school shoes in the toilet, various toys out of windows, mobile phones in bins - and is a veritable Houdini. Can escape any attempt to keep him contained.
By the way, saw the red hair debate earlier. My first two boyfriends both had red hair and were by far the nicest guys I had even been out with before dh.

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/06/2007 08:46

Hey Yeahbut - I love it when prodigals return!

mustrunmore · 01/06/2007 08:48

Hello

Flame · 01/06/2007 08:52

You see I needed to cut them out of the stats so they felt guilty and posted

Can go on the next lot!

Flame · 01/06/2007 08:54

We have the 4 teeth thing too - not fun is it?!!?

Its gonna be really weird to get used to looking at him too... I'm used to just a couple of teeth and with 4 more he'll look like he's got a whole mouthful.

ChasingSquirrels · 01/06/2007 08:55

is T the only one still in sleepsuits then? I have got pj's in his size (from ds1) but haven't got them out yet. I got a load of 18-24mo sleepsuits from a friend aswell and they are really nice, so I will be using them for a bit. ds1 was in pj's from 9mo.

Flame · 01/06/2007 08:57

DS is normally in his sleep gown things still.

Sleepsuits tend to look a bit weird because I have to go up a size for his nappy to fit in, and where he has short legs anyway he has the feet all flappin

OP posts:
damewashalot · 01/06/2007 10:03

read all that then went and fed my children, got dressed, put washing on stuff like that now haven't a clue what i was going to say

Still use sleepsuits here or pjs if warm, I have a real problem with pjs can't help myself love them, ds2 has so many as a had lots for ds1 but have bought him new ones too and this one will have even more but little boys in pjs are so cute.

cutting 4 back teeth here too, found him with a blood stained sheet from dribbling yesterday morning it's not fun.

2boysmacca · 01/06/2007 11:15

PJ's here. Both boys have shorts sets, from jojo and shorts sets from Baby Gap. Both of them went in them at 9m.

Oh oh, ds2 has just taken the clean washing out of the basket and is cleaning the floor with dh's shirt better go and look after my kids rather than let them create havoc and chat

Frizbe · 01/06/2007 11:21

lol Macca did you sink under the ironing then? I managed to do mine today, took an hour, so you can guess how much there was

Hi Yeahbut!

Chasing S's, we've been converted to grobags here since dd1.

Have been playing in garden this am, tis fine and sunny will it last????

Oopse dd2 just fell off the slide again seems its a regular occurance now, she seems to bounce ok though better go and play with them more!!

damewashalot · 01/06/2007 11:27

last time i was keeping up on here there was talk of Warwick castle, did that happen? did i miss it? or is it happening?

2boysmacca · 01/06/2007 12:08

No, it's not happened yet.

I'm down your neck of the woods next week Dame. Visiting my parents, used as a half way house to meet up with my sister. Just a fleeting visit though, not sure I can cope with my mum for very long these days.
