You're not flamesparrow any more.

ChasingSquirrels · 30/05/2007 08:46

oh a new thread - maybe I can keep up this time, will TRY!

ChasingSquirrels · 30/05/2007 08:48

can anyone get onto the ryanair website? ryan air saw some flights I wanted yesterday and now I can't get onto it.
Arrggghhh, and ds1 is just talking drivel at me, complete and UTTER drivel.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2007 08:49

Just pop in each night, say you can't remember what you've read, spout some drivel about your day, and hey presto, you're keeping up!

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2007 08:50

link works for me

Flame · 30/05/2007 08:52

I always end up changing back to Flamesparrow in the end .

I cut out the ones who haven't been spotted in a very very long time (I hope no-one's offended), and some of the babies I put as known as names - I hovered at calling Bram "Brambles" but decided I should check with that one!!!

ChasingSquirrels · 30/05/2007 08:52

lol CSWS, arrgh on ryan air, will try on pc upstairs in a mo, going to put Raven Island on for ds1, put ds2 in the travel cot and have a shower. Have got the week off as both my mum & dad and the CM are away this week, not good planning as we were away last week (Cornwall - bosinver - if you are looking for somewhere in Cornwall its great, this was out 4th time there).

ChasingSquirrels · 30/05/2007 08:54

Hellllllloooooooooooooooooooooo Flame - lol

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2007 09:01

You know Teuch hasn't been seen for about 15 months!

Flame · 30/05/2007 09:02

I know, but it seemed wrong to take out the first born Felt like passover or something...

OP posts:
Flame · 30/05/2007 09:03

The same with JuA - seemed wrong to remove the only twins!!

lol Flame. Thanks for the new thread

Thanks for that link Squirrel. We're off to Cornwall in September but those cottages look nice i'll keep them in mind for next year. I've bookmarked it

Phoenix · 30/05/2007 09:21

Lewis has got a very snotty nose again. It went for a few days then came back worse than ever its just constantly streaming. When i put the tissue near his nose he blows a rapberry on it. Me thinks he's seen me blow my nose and is copying the noise

I must remember to get some medised today it ran out over a week ago and he woke up sniffly quite a few times last night.

Jas · 30/05/2007 09:38

Thanks for the thread. Just checking in so I can find you later.

ChasingSquirrels · 30/05/2007 09:52

would definately recommend them, ds1 loves feeding the animals etc, T was totally taken by collecting an egg, there is a good playground, they have just built a little soft play barn, and it is really convienient for loads of places in Cornwall, they are pricy in the school hols, but not so bad in term time, and the lady who runs it was saying they weren't very busy in late April/early May this year so asked me to tell people about it. As I said, it was our 4th visit - went when ds1 was 20mo (May 04) and have been back Apr 05, May 06 and May 07 - so we obviously love it.

Phoenix · 30/05/2007 10:49

Squirrel - I've had a proper read of the site and told dh about it and he thinks it sounds fab so he's gonna have a look himself when he gets home from work . Last year was the 1st time i'd been to Cornwall and i love it.

Phoenix · 30/05/2007 11:05

You've got me all excited now about booking next years holiday and its got me thinking, in April next year Lewis will be 2.2 so would he still be in a cot or a bed (with bed guard)? (yeah, yeah first time mum knows nothing)

2boysmacca · 30/05/2007 11:29

Who knows! I put ds in a bed at 20 months (mainly because I couldn't reach into the cot anymore due to being pregnant) but I also know little ones who only came out of the cot at around 3. I think ds2 will be inhis cot longer because I don't think he's stay in his bed

I have just been to soft play and I saw my old secretary there! It was a very bizarre meeting!

ChasingSquirrels · 30/05/2007 14:37

ds1 went into a bed at 2y3m cos I was getting fed up of lifting him into the cot - was actually just the cot-bed converted from a cot to a bed. He wasn't climbing out or anything though so would have been fine still in a cot. Most places you get free cots (certainly do at Bosinver) so you could just ask for one anyway.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2007 14:39

My very first AIBU thread!

Chloe55 · 30/05/2007 15:38

Hiya everyone,

Now then what have I just read? Erm, ds says no, hiya, hello, bye, uh uh uh when he wants something, got when he has it, oh and ducky. He seems to have come on in leaps and bounds these past few weeks - if I tell him to take his shoes off he will do immediately, if I tell him to put his toys away (without hinting what I have asked him to do) he goes straight to the toy box and puts things back, when he has had enough of mum and wants her to go home he hands her her shoes and handbag, waves goodbye to her and blows her a kiss, it's so funny - she is the only one he does this to

My ds has ginger hair - do I need to verbally attack someone for abusing him? Let me at 'em, let me at 'em! Actually, I have no idea where the ginger comes from, neither me or dh are ginger

2boysmacca · 30/05/2007 15:44

Both need to carry the ginger gene for kids to have red hair. Ds2 is rather red and I hate it, but then I grew up as a ginger and was teased right up into my teens.

Chloe55 · 30/05/2007 16:21

It is actually going a bit blonder so I'm hoping he loses the ginger totally over the next few years for that exact same reason Macca Before he was born dh and I actually said we would put him back or swop him at birth if he came out ginger - there was no shoving that ginger baby of mine back up anywhere
