I need ONE size 2 baby to trial a nappy for me (forgot to ask you lot first ).

Can you email me if you're interested bumfluffnappies at gmail dot com.

Obv I'll have to do first come first served... feel mean for not thinking to post here.

Too late I'm not around much at the moment. Too much sun and going out.

Just want to add the Boy is still in sleepsuits (anda vest if it is cold) but no covers at all. Won't change until he is in a bed/too big to get sleepsuits that fit.

Will try and catch up later.

Flame · 01/06/2007 17:19

hurrah for nappies then

So why has dd2 chucked up on me 3 times tonight then???

She did throw up once yesterday....after I got her up from nap, but then she was ok....got her upfrom nap today at 4pm, she threw up banana (pudding) on me, half hour later followed by rest/remaining contents of stomach and poor thing then had another retch a bit later She passed out at 6.30 after a clean up bath......wondering if its cough related, as she's had one for about two weeks now, with lots of snot, bah. Or maybe its the opposite of what dd1 had earlier in the week (trots) hmmmmmm

So nice night with dh tonight until he passes out and I come on here!! he's brought beer back and 2 x Gu pudding things to try, mmmmmm

PS: Flame did I say your booked for the friday then!

Flame · 01/06/2007 19:40

Aww for DD, yay for pudding and for being booked that Friday.

Will calendar you now.

I have been cashing up and realised I'd lost an envelope of cheques. I turned the desk upside down and dh went outside and scoured through the recyclables (bless him). Still couldn't find it. I finally found it, tucked in the scanner Has taken me since 6.30 to sort the accounts with a 40 min break for dinner. I'm knackered. I really hate the job but it least it gives something on my cv.

We went to the park this pm and it was sooo hot. I never realsied so the boys had no suncream on, we had to stay in the shade and not play on the maze

CantSleepWontSleep · 01/06/2007 23:14

Just bumping this thread back to the top of my list before I go to bed. Nothing much to report here except less bf as dh helped distract her a couple of times when she was starting to tantrum, and we went out both morning and afternoon.

Flame · 02/06/2007 10:17

Ello - gorgeous day, DC playing in garden, and I have reflexology at 12pm

Ooh and tonight we lose one or both children to my mum!

OP posts:
Flame · 02/06/2007 10:24

Argh for your cheques nightmare Macca!

I have to do the books tomorrow morning. I quite like it though I disappear to my mum's and she brings me cups of tea while I work in quiet. Probably lots less numbers to deal with my end though .

Letter from benefits saying I need to go through the paperwork hell again in 3 months, and one from the bank saying I have to reply asap if I want to go through with the business account - so I will have to phone them on Monday and explain what the delay is! They want my last 3 months bank statements to set up the account... and just under 3 months ago my bank decided I was going to have quarterly statements - seemed fine at the time as I never look at the paper statements... bit of an issue though because I don't HAVE 3 months statements to post to HSBC now until about 10th June

Never simple is it?

OP posts:
ChasingSquirrels · 02/06/2007 11:02

flame - send them the last 3 months THAT YOU HAVE GOT and explain in a covering letter that you are now on quarterly statements, additionally print off the statements online since the proper ones and include those.

Morgan · 02/06/2007 18:08

Glad to see i did not get knocked off the list despite not posting for about 4 months

Hello to everyone. Read this thread so caught up with some news.

DD is great - hilarious truly hilarious and pretty good at the mo. She did have 3 days in hospital about two omnths ago when she got pneumonia which was not fun but she has been so much better since then think the iv antibiotics did the trick or something did. Think she is having a growth spurt as been eating everything in sight for the last couple of days

Anyway will try to keep up with the thread and csws i am coming to the uk in 6 weeks time for 6 weeks so maybe we can meet up It's that time again too hot to stay here. Did have a nice morning on the beach today though.

Frizbe · 02/06/2007 20:14

at the pneumonia Morgan, glad to hear dd is ok, phew. Glad to see your keeping up with us

Flame, stuff the HSBC go to another bank, in my experience banks usually fall over themselves to give you to give you a business account, they don't try to make life hard for you, surely afterall your giving them your money to look after and they make far more money on it than you do, when you do that! When I set mine up with lloyds, I walked in, said can I have an account, they got the business mgr in, who said, give me your business plan, which I did, they said do you want to borrow any money, I said no, they said fine, here's your account, which I think I put £50.00 in to open. They said can we offer you any more help at the mo, I said no. Job done!

Impromptu afternoon out today, which gave dh an afternoon of peace and relaxation in house by himself with wow, my dad rang up and got me to meet him at a garden centre, which just happened to have next to it a huge kids centre thing, lots of swings etc, a car track (which I let dd1 age 3 do the steering on whilst I did the pedals, arghhhh) some horses, a small pirate ship and a small rollercoaster!! which dd1 did with me, whilst saying I don't like this, I want to get offfffffff, turns out she only likes doing coasters with her dad

Phoenix · 02/06/2007 21:45

Hi Morgan, at pneumonia, glad to hear dd is ok

It's v. quiet on here today, where is everyone?

Ds had his hair cut today. It's very short, i love it. It makes him look about 3 year old though He screamed the place down at the time though you'd have thought the woman was murdering him not cutting his hair lol. I'll post pics tomorrow if i get time as we've got to pack for our hol.

Phoenix · 02/06/2007 22:25

Well if no one's about i'm off to bed

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2007 22:31

Morgan!!! We will indeed be meeting up. We will be doing so on August 4th. Non-negotiable. We're having a Feb thread meet (piss) up at my house.
(We can do another meet with kids too obviously).
What happened with your last visit back when fil was ill? Did he recover ok? I think I e-mailed you to ask, but you didn't reply you bad woman!

Such scorching weather today. Dh took dd to the park as promised this morning, so I got a soak in the bath after having already baked a cake and made a quiche by then . We then had his cousin and family visit this afternoon, and their 2 children (age 12 and 10 I think) kept dd well entertained playing with her in the playhouse and on the swing. I then seem to have spent the whole evening (after we'd eaten, which we didn't do until dd was in bed for a change) looking at the mini-boden catalogue. An expensive evening that's turned out to be , but at least I had a 15% off voucher.

mrm - has your mil gone yet?

CantSleepWontSleep · 02/06/2007 22:32

Hey pg - I'm here! Took a while to post that as our network went down. How's the packing? Are you off first thing?

Flame · 02/06/2007 23:25

If you're still about anyone help me!!!

will reply to the rest when my hands stop itching

Mil gone, Dad here now (overlap of a morning). Going to friends house today to get our new telly (they are going home forever and giving it us, and its only 6months oldish) Very excited, as we've had no remote for ours for months, so cant change the brightness or anything The remote got squished in the mechanism of the sofa bed.

Hello everyone by the way. Sorry for the very brief postings, but I have read it all, I promise

Chloe55 · 03/06/2007 10:15

HI everyone,

Got SIL coming today and we are going to head out to the farm for a picnic with about a zillion kids Lovely day for it though.

Nightwear - dh always but ds in pjs because he thinks it makes him look like a proper little boy - I always put him in babygros because I am desperately trying to hold onto my baby. We use grobags too, I only have one that actually fits him at the moment so when it goes in the wash we use a blanket which is a PITA as he is such a wriggler. I like the price of those dream ones though.

Hiya to yeahbut and morgan - nice to see you back? Why have you been away so long have you actually been having a life?

Frizbe · 03/06/2007 10:49
