you choose - for you or for your bubba

I can't believe the May thread is so excited that their babies are arriving. That time in our lives seems like soooooo long ago .

OP posts:

Mossie/shrinky, I don't which day mine will be on. It's on at midday ish then repeated at 8pm. Tipping down here

sazzybee · 08/06/2007 09:39

Elliot slept til 5am last night - phew! I'm not boasting (honest!) but just thrilled to have had 6 hours of uninterrupted sleep. I expect he is too - his snuffling is down to the very occasional bark so he's much happier. He fed and went back to sleep and is still sleeping . I'm guessing his nappy will be a bit full when he wakes up

Mossie - how did ronnie get to your MIL's so early?! Very impressive!

I can't even imagine having relations at the mo - feel tired and grubby most of the time and most definitely not sexy

muppethasakitten · 08/06/2007 09:40

Kitty yes, yes, yes, pmsl at your Callan Pinckney impression! "If your body starts to shake you are doing too much..." ... well, I'd better not do any of the video in that case!

The Home Grown Baby show is on livingtv2 at midday and then repeated at 8pm that night. Yesterday was a poor woman who was so brave trying for a vbac at home... in the end she got another c-section but seemed happy anyhow as she had laboured at home for a long time. In the end i think the baby was just in a bad position and they didn't want to risk rupturing the scar etc.

When oh when will it be our kitty's turn???

I would offer to tape it for people but i don't have the technology!

Mossy... i know what you mean about how your dh is "tainted" in your eyes due to his behaviour. When I had ds1 my dh was working mad hours and was no help to me at all... in fact ds1 had no relationship with him at all cos he never saw him. It really bothered me that he was choosing to work rather than see his son and daughter... took me a long time to get over it. Luckily he's much more hands on with ds2... still works mad hours but is more engaged when he IS here. Just give yourself time.

Rosy - glad your dh is safe and soundly home. How is your mil?

Diva - does your dd2 like the simpsons after futurama too?

muppethasakitten · 08/06/2007 09:41

I sound like Kitty's agent don't i

Booboobedoo · 08/06/2007 09:48

Lunar: your DS is extremely cute.

Mossie: just had a peak at your profile page, and Bertie is beautiful!

DS was up every two hours again last night, so I have once more reverted to my usual living-dead pallor.

Hope you're all having a nice day.

foxcub · 08/06/2007 09:51

Muppet - i think some men hide at work, 'cos its easier than being in the house with a small baby

One of my previous bosses not only suddently started working till 11pm when his wife gave birth - he started shagging a work colleague. And she (the work colleague) then left her husband and two under 5's to live with my tosser boss!! Yes - she left her children!!!

Now call me old fashioned, but...

Sazzy - LOL at something you said but can't remember what it was!!! Oh yeah - about how did Ronnie get to Kitty's MIL on his own!!!

Lunar - has he passed his driving test yet? What a cute little face he has - and his big brother.

Well I lay away between 12 and 2am growling about work. Then Monti woke me at 2.10am for a feed!!! He then woke 2 hourly so I'm knackered. He's sleeping and feeding a lot so must be due for a growth spurt

My solicitor whizzy bloke can't speak to me until 4pm, annoying but I'll get some free top notch advice. I'm hoping he advises me to take action, 'cos I feel like taking them to the cleaners. Hostilities have begun as far as I am concerned

Booboobedoo · 08/06/2007 09:52

This is such a fragile time with our parners, isn't it?

I was cross with DH this morning as he didn't ask how my night had been (while he snored away for 8 hours in the living room), but I'm just being unreasonable because I'm overtired.

I'm glad your DH has snapped out of it finally, Mossy.

Booboobedoo · 08/06/2007 09:53

X-posts foxy. Morning, oh fellow knackered one!

Shrinkinglily · 08/06/2007 09:57

Muppet, mil is well thanks. She always gets better when she sees dh she has 7 children but he is her baby ~(age 46) and she probably worries about him cuz he moved to Ireland and married a strange white woman.

Sazzy brilliant and fantastic that you got some sleep. yay.

Shrinkinglily · 08/06/2007 10:02

much sympathy to tired people.

Good luck at four Foxy. Hopefully that will put your mind at rest and you can feel in more control of the situation.

foxcub · 08/06/2007 10:08

just found out my home insurance gives legal cover up to £100,00 incl employment issues

Shrinky - sorry been meaning to ask after your MIL but kept forgetting

spongecake · 08/06/2007 10:22

excellent news foxy-assume you are on the phone right now! good luck.. i belive you could get 2 years paid. don;t let them fob you off with 6months or a year salary to go away- my friend did that and thought she was getting a deal- she found out after she would have got 2 years!

well, i was awake all night with a upset baby who has a cough and cold, he is now asleep, lucky thing. we were going to go out today, but grey skies, chill wind, think will stay in and keep warm.

spent all day yesterday nagging at dp, feel such a cow. he works v hard.. would like to "have relations" but baby still in with us which realy puts me off. he will go into his own room when we move...

spongecake · 08/06/2007 10:23

Baby into his own room, not DP!!

foxcub · 08/06/2007 11:10
Smile
shanks313 · 08/06/2007 12:04

shanks313 · 08/06/2007 12:08

kityy-I dont think its you, shes a midwife lol

Piffle · 08/06/2007 13:02

Foxy what bloody awful employers, trying to do that under the radar. cheeky feckers, hope the legal angle rewards you handsomely and yes agree they need to be challenged heavily

Mossie you sound little chirpier after some you time and a rest, so glad DH has finally got on to your side - Yes can be very hard to forget. I'm getting enough sleep and I'm still not up for sex tbh. I still feel a bit "I belong to the baby" about my body
Mmmm must make an effort soon though I guess. DP is very sweet about things.

Well a weeks into the no alcohol and I've lost 1.5 kgs which I cannot really afford to lose That's still eating the half carton of icecream daily as well
Ps I wasn't drinking that much btw

Finn as always, fab, starting to grab toys now and god he talks I swear he talks all the time. I recorded him on my mobile phone yesterday he was going for 5 minutes- oh err agg gorgeous cooing.
I want another one, DP just looked aghast at me and said no, no not a chance. humpffff

Also found out ex p (ds1's dad) and his gorgeous girlfriend are expecting - due in december/early jan time. ds1 is finding out this weekend. I have someone to give all my stuff to!
Right must get some stuff done
like yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

muppethasakitten · 08/06/2007 13:48

piffle... itake it your on good terms with your exp then? I think you're the only one on this thread who actually doesn't want to lose weight! What's your secret? Are you actually posh spice

Foxy - good luck with the solicitor... sounds like you'll have more of an idea how to proceed by the end of the day.

Glad your mil is better rosy... expensive medicine for her though (air fares for your dh every few months!)

Sazzy - very of your decent sleep!

kittyhas6 · 08/06/2007 14:08

foxy, hope the meeting goes well, fingers crossed

right I'm v. tired, rotton headache and i don't get headaches as a rule
just saying 'hello' but feel to out of it to post properly

divastrop · 08/06/2007 16:25

Elsie is feeding ok now thankfully.dd2 isnt too good still bur the rash has gone so i dont think it was CP after all.she is asleep,as is ds2.i really hate this weather.im going to end up will small children up intill god knows what time, infringing on my telly/MN time.

rosy-i think my libido will re-appear with my periods.its only when i come back on after childbirth that i start to feel like a person again.atm i may as well still be pregnant.

not having a good day today.i am still waiting for my medical card,dp's came but mine didnt, and i thought it was a 'sign' or something about the wedding.plus dp got annoyed with me cos i got upset over it.ive been getting annoyed at stuff all day, like old women stroking elsie's faceand getting stuck in a queue in asda for 20 mins and being late picking up ds2.

right,am going to stop moaning now

foxcub · 08/06/2007 21:37

Diva - glad Elsie is feeding OK now

Oh I hate queues too - I get very agitated having to waste time standing around in queues in shops...

Kitty - hope ur headache is gone by tomorrow. Is it sunny down there?

Piffle - I've been very broody today too - I think the easier the baby, the more you want another!!

foxcub · 08/06/2007 21:39

Oh Monti hadn't pooed for about 10 days but did an Amageddonappy - luckily when DH was in charge

he's now 13 weeks + 3
No idea of weights

Can we have a reminder of how old the babies are again, as I'm losing the plot, as usual ?

kittyhas6 · 08/06/2007 21:49

Foxy , Ronnie is 2 months today, bless. It started out raining here but cheered up as the day went on.

Diva, glad your babies are getting better, so you think it wasn't CP then? what do you think it was?

LunarSea · 08/06/2007 21:57
