Foxy, at your work situation. B**tards. How many of us have had some form of attempted discrimination because of being pg/on mat leave? So much for equal ops.
On that note, was very amused to discover my manager, who is the most unhelpful person in the world to her staff, particularly to those who have babies - the last two women who did left because she would not help them with the part-time working they wanted without financial penalty - has been granted flexible working. One rule for the bosses...
DS slept loads today and as a result was wide awake when I tried to put him to bed tonight. I think he's asleep now. Well, he's quiet at least if he's not .
On the jabs front, I've got the slowest surgery in the world it seems. Have had massive gaps between each, and in fact am still waiting for an appointment for the third lot over a week after he should have had them.
Amie, DS is 13 adjusted age weeks today, 21.5 real weeks and will be five months/three months tomorrow. It's so scary the way time is starting to zip by. I look at him and think - did he really come out of me? Amazing.
Hey Sazzy, nice to see you back. And Chocpenny - well done on the sleep front. If I went to bed now I might get 8 hours in but I do want an hour or two for myself in the day. How else would I MN???
It's birthday season in my family atm. It was my eldest niece last Thur, sister Sun, nephew today, second niece tomorrow and third niece in three weeks. Ouch. And my mat money runs out in a month. Oh joy.
