you choose - for you or for your bubba

I can't believe the May thread is so excited that their babies are arriving. That time in our lives seems like soooooo long ago .

hey guys! really need to change ISP's! NTL since Virgin bought them have been awful!!! well its back on now.. but for how long.

Hope the meet up went well!

Just got back from taking Joseph for his last jabs till he's 12 months! From being asleep and not stirring for the first ones, he's made up for that today!!!! What a noise, I had no idea he could scream that loudly! he's all over it now though!

Moved him into his own room, as he'll soon be out of his moses basket and we have no room in our room for a travel cot to put him in, so he's in his moses basket in his cot if that makes sense! But last night he slept from 11-7 again without any fuss...

waiting for the sleep honeymoon to end!

Can't believe I gave birth to him 16 weeks ago today!!! time flies!

divastrop · 07/06/2007 12:31

i have a list of 'house rules' up on the wall, just simple things ilke 'put your dirty clothes in the washing'etc, but its too much for ds and dd1,obviously.they keep being repeatedly punished for not doing the things that are written down.they manage to get dressed etc in the morning but thats about it.all i can say is i hope dd1 is rich enough to have servants when she leaves home

Elsie isnt feeding properly today.i dont think she has chicken pox.she screams for her bottle then wont drink it when i put it in her mouth.i think she may have an earache or something.

i went to the gp this morning.she said that my lack of af is probably due to the mirena coil, that its quite common to miss one period after having that removed or stopping the mini pill.if thats the case i should come on in about a week.

kitty-i often forget that Elsie has woken.i only know how many times by how many bottles are left by the bed.i got up and got ds2 his breakfast, took my tablets, and put the kettle on this morning and i dont remember doing any of it
am i not allowed a copy of your dvd?

muppethasakitten · 07/06/2007 16:45

poo - wasn't kitty on the programme today ...

... right... off to read foxy's thread

Booboobedoo · 07/06/2007 17:24

Just seen your thread foxy: you poor thing .

Had my night out last night. Was fantastic! Got quite pissed which was lovely.

Got home at midnight, and gave LO a bottle of EBM (he'd had one from his Dad earlier), and he went through until 5:45 - which is fantastic! Even better, he then went from 7:15-10:00, and so did I!

What an angel. I'd like to think it was sympathy for my hungover state.

Hope your LO gets better soon Sazzy. Baby colds are rotten aren't they?

Ditto for Elsie, diva. Does she seem ok in herself?

Just noticed I've got poo on my jeans, so I'd better go and stick them in the washing machine. Oh, the glamour.

LunarSea · 07/06/2007 18:01

I've added a pic of T with his new toy to my profile. He had his jabs this afternoon, and dh is away tonight, so fingers crossed it won't affect him too much. He only cried for about a minute, and he seems to be his usual smily, chatty self at the moment, so with a bit of luck it won't be too bad.

kittyhas6 · 07/06/2007 18:10

Muppet, how will you know it's me? , just a thought

kittyhas6 · 07/06/2007 19:42

Diva, of course you can have a copy

Shrinkinglily · 07/06/2007 19:52

I am quite tired today....

kittyhas6 · 07/06/2007 19:55

s'all right for some

muppethasakitten · 07/06/2007 20:48

I don't know kitty!

Am assuming they'll say "This is xxxx, she is having her SIXTH baby" ... and there you will be!... there will prolly be some callanetics on in the background too...

foxcub · 07/06/2007 21:13

Kitty will be the one in lycra with the big hair! Ain't that true Kitty?

divastrop · 07/06/2007 21:14

Elsie will now only drink her bottle if she's in her chair.she didnt have much during the day but did drink the whole bottle tonight.she just screams and refuses to take it when shes in my arms though.i hope its just a temporary thing and not the shape of things to come.dd1 wouldnt feed in my arms, she wanted to be sat in her chair from 3 months.i think she got bored of looking at my face and wanted to look around her.it wasnt too bad though as ds1 had just started walking and going on a mission of destruction.

dd2 handed me a DVD today, pointed to the dvd player and said 'there'.i said 'ok,pass me the dvd remote then' and she went and got it and gave it to mebless her, shes so lovely.not sure why she prefers futurama to cbeebies though.

rosy-dp wanted to go to bed early last night but i didnt take the hint

kitty-i thought it was the pregnancy that was an issue in that dept?have you still not resumed 'relations'?

amie-sorry,x posts with you before.good that joseph is sleeping so well.

divastrop · 07/06/2007 21:16

kitty gives birth to the relaxing sound of 70's porno music, and has a pot plant

CallieNewMum · 07/06/2007 21:18

Foxy, at your work situation. B**tards. How many of us have had some form of attempted discrimination because of being pg/on mat leave? So much for equal ops.

On that note, was very amused to discover my manager, who is the most unhelpful person in the world to her staff, particularly to those who have babies - the last two women who did left because she would not help them with the part-time working they wanted without financial penalty - has been granted flexible working. One rule for the bosses...

DS slept loads today and as a result was wide awake when I tried to put him to bed tonight. I think he's asleep now. Well, he's quiet at least if he's not .

On the jabs front, I've got the slowest surgery in the world it seems. Have had massive gaps between each, and in fact am still waiting for an appointment for the third lot over a week after he should have had them.

Amie, DS is 13 adjusted age weeks today, 21.5 real weeks and will be five months/three months tomorrow. It's so scary the way time is starting to zip by. I look at him and think - did he really come out of me? Amazing.

Hey Sazzy, nice to see you back. And Chocpenny - well done on the sleep front. If I went to bed now I might get 8 hours in but I do want an hour or two for myself in the day. How else would I MN???

It's birthday season in my family atm. It was my eldest niece last Thur, sister Sun, nephew today, second niece tomorrow and third niece in three weeks. Ouch. And my mat money runs out in a month. Oh joy.

foxcub · 07/06/2007 21:23

Aime - Has your milk supply improved on your dry boob now?

Diva -

callie - what a hypocrite your boss is, and what a cow!

sazzybee · 07/06/2007 22:17

foxy/callie - sorry to hear about your work stuff. I will give your thread another read foxy - had a quick look earlier but then E started yelling and so got distracted.

It's crap isn't it? The company I work for is supposed to be very good at equal opps stuff but it seems that they're doing a massive restructuring of my department in the next few months and so I'm not going to be around when they're handing out the interesting jobs. So I'll get the crappy one no one else wants

E is still a bit snotty but is less grumpy than he has been. Not going to get his jabs done though - I'll wait until he's properly better. He has just started to notice his fist and is waving it about and staring at it - very cute.

I got my replacement camcorder and camera today so I can start recording his every move again

sazzybee · 07/06/2007 22:18

Oh and lunarsea - how old is your LO? He looks very grown up indeed!

LunarSea · 07/06/2007 22:45

sazzy - he was just a day short of two months when that was taken.

kittyhas6 · 07/06/2007 22:57

Cor Lunar, he does look lovely and v. grown up

Diva, no, no 'relations' it's not poss atm with Ronnie in the bed. But, it's a problem. We'll have to see what happens when i'm less exhausted.

foxy pmsl at the big hair. When I did the callenetics today I couldn't help but think that she was showing off "at first you can probably only do it like this, but then you can do it like this" er no, I will never be able to do that, now stop showing of you bizarre little woman with your elephant mother .

Muppet, yep I guess it's probably pretty obvious when it's my turn

Callie, glad all is well with you. It always seems to happen that birthdays come at once. Apart from Ronnie the rest of mine have birthdays through from August to December and there are lots of family, particularly in September and October.

Sorry to anyone I've missed

Shrinkinglily · 08/06/2007 07:47

Lunar, cute piccy!

That is so bad you working folk I think that family life is not supported and held as important enough in our society. And it's a false economy etc etc

Kitty I don't have living tv either and would love to see it. Actually I could get a friend to look out for it and tape it for me.Will try thyat. Is it maybe on today? What time does the show go out anyone?

Diva/Kitty I may be 'getting some' but honestly ~I couldn't care less~ am more passionate about chocolate at the moment ...my libido is at an all time low and I know from experience that I won't be an enthusiastic partner until my periods are back.

Mossie · 08/06/2007 07:55

Lunar he is very cute ... and big!!

Kitty I'm not having any "relations" either. Although dh is now - finally - being more supportive, I just can't get out of my head how he was with me and it's kind of tarnished his image in my eyes, iyswim. Plus I'm getting no sleep so sex is the last thing I want to do atm!

Kitty is it on tonight, or was it on last night? Last night I went to bed really early so I would have missed it, but today I think I'll be able to stay up a little later if I get rested up.

Sazzy / Callie / Foxy - employers are such arses aren't they to pregnant women and mothers? I am not going back to mine in a million years (although they don't know that just yet!!) but will have to find something to do once my mat leave ends... really hoping I can find a supportive employer but it doesn't bode well does it?

Diva I hope things get better for you with Elsie's feeding.

Right... Bertie is at mil's and I'm going to walk over and join him in a minute... a nice day ahead, I hope it is sunny!!
