you choose - for you or for your bubba

I can't believe the May thread is so excited that their babies are arriving. That time in our lives seems like soooooo long ago .

kittyhas6 · 02/06/2007 20:15

Foxy, is that for real? !!!!!! it's not, is it?!!!!

foxcub · 02/06/2007 20:15

I've got a whole bottle 75 cl of Babycham to myself!

foxcub · 02/06/2007 20:17

I do understand but can't help think the family may have an ulterior motive - e.g. to get rehoused by council or something. Why else go to the press?

Ginger people do get picked on - but so do lots of people.

save it for Ronnie anyway

kittyhas6 · 02/06/2007 20:33

Don't you mean save it for Neil, the famously ginger ex labour polititian with a brush over

divastrop · 02/06/2007 20:41

shanks-if you are worried, why not do the test online first?there is a copy here

kitty-i was on 20mg prozac from 12 weeks pregnant,am now upto 40mg.i dont feel spaced out on it,i have even been able to laugh the past few days.its the only ad that hasnt made me feel drowsy and drugged up.plus my gp said its safe to drink in moderation with it

going to take Elsie upstairs and then have a look at that link.

divastrop · 02/06/2007 20:45

shanks-disregard that link and try this one

divastrop · 02/06/2007 21:05

very strange about the ginger thing.ds1 gets teased about his hair but because of the way he is it just washes over him,he is quite arrogant and just doesnt care what people think.

shanks313 · 02/06/2007 21:33

Diva-Thanks for the link ,I scored 6 so all is well like I thought.

Just getting round to eating dinner as had to stop halfway through earlier,Deannas been very unsettled with the heat thiss afternoon.

Shrinkinglily · 02/06/2007 21:43

I was admiring a boys hair at the fair today, bold, glossy and as gorgeously carroty as you can get. Why don't people like it? don't understand.

Kitty, my dh sleeps 10 hours a day, if he doesn't then he nods off anywhere, or he's constantly on the mobile, or he's not here at all..so anyway much sympathy indeed!
My ds1 is very helpful and my family are very supportive.
Will be caravaning in donegal, bunkhousing in scotland and staying all in one bedroom of the restaurant staff apartment in cork. We are gypsies

Fox if you come to Ireland I've got spare beds and can point you in various directions!

Newmum24 most of the chat is time delayed so I wouldn't worry, just blab away when you are on and someone will answer you half an hour later

foxcub · 02/06/2007 21:43

Diva - we Gingers do get the piss taken out of us and its annoying, but then there are much greater afflictions people can have than the occassional bit of teasing ! I'm a bit dissapointed none of my DCs have red hair really..

Shrinkinglily · 02/06/2007 21:44

Mossy/foxy wasn't dr who a bit dark tonight? I need counselling after that one

foxcub · 02/06/2007 21:45

Shrinky - I was thinking of you and your DCs when we were "on the road" to Camber Sands last week - just me and the skids. I really like the idea of chucking all the skids in the car and taking off. That was until the car broke down and I got cold feet!

foxcub · 02/06/2007 21:47

Dr Who was quite "deep" wasn't it? DS1 wants us both to watch it again tomorrow!!

I really don't like Martha - she has no charisma.

Now, I'd be much better as his companion...

Shrinkinglily · 02/06/2007 21:57

Fox My sister says that about Martha too, she is growing on me a bit as time goes on...but I would be a brilliant assistant! And there's loads of room in that there tardis for all my brood.... Though of course really I can't be quite that adventurous...too chicken. sigh.

kittyhas6 · 02/06/2007 22:01

I like Martha, much better than the wide mouthed frog they had before her

Foxy, did you like it at camber sands? I remember the sea being very blue and shallow.

diva, that reminds me i haven't taken my dose today, better go and do that now

kittyhas6 · 02/06/2007 22:05

I ran up the hilly field at the end of the village again today, nearly ffing killed me. Had to go home and immediately consume cold beer (medincinal )

foxcub · 02/06/2007 22:17

oooh Kitty its a bit too hot for excercising at the moment isn't it?

(...seriously, it is!!)

IKWYM about the wide mouthed frog, but at least she had a bit of presence. Martha is downright boring.

I was considering being his assistant when he last asked me, but then I realised that if I get freaked at breaking down on the M25, I probably wouldn't be much good in the Tardis either!

eidsvold · 03/06/2007 07:42

we have had more glorious rain here today more on the way later in the week hopefully.

been spoiling ourselves - bought a new dining suite today. We have had a table but been using our outdoor chairs as the ones that match the table are past use and it only seats 4 and we are now 5. The table is good solid pine so it is going downstairs to be my sewing table. Excited at having a larger table that we all can sit at. ALso got it on sale - gotta love that!!

was going to link to it but the site is down.

not much else happening here - took the dds to the gardens yesterday and they had fun running around and feeding the ducks.

have already got prac nanny jobs and ideas sorted!! she will be here when I am having a book party and will have young children for her to entertain whilst the mums are having coffee and cake!!

DollyPopsOut · 03/06/2007 09:11

It's a lovely day here today - hope it's nice where you are.

Eids, the table sounds great. Glad you got a bargain too. I love it when we all sit round the table and eat. Makes me feel very happy, even though there are only 3 of us (as DD2 eats at the boob only ATM of course). Prac nanny sounds great too, even if her chewing gum habit needs breaking.

Am trying to book our hols now. Got the passport pics done and will get them countersigned tomorrow. Need to get a pop up cot for DD2 = has anyone tried one? Would it be worth buying? We have a camping style one for DD1, but I cant' face carrying 2 large ish cots around with us. Hmm, will have to have a look at Ebay. Am in "discussions" with an ebayer about a buggy I bought which doesn't have a brake. I think it will end badly though so I'll just back off. Does anyone know where you can get maclarens repaired?

So much to do, so little time! Have a great day XXXXX

sazzybee · 03/06/2007 11:04

Morning all

Fox - thank you so much for a lovely afternoon on Friday We had a great time and Elliot slept extremely well that night - he's never seen so many other children before and he loved it!

Sadly he now has a foul cold and, as well as waking up 3 times in the night, is sleeping horribly badly and keeping me awake with his snuffling. Yawn ...

Dolly - I have a samsonite pop up cot thing and Elliot seems really happy in it and it's very light and easy to carry (but does pop up alarmingly the moment you get it out the bag ). There's still quite a lot of room for growth which I was a bit worried about as he is such a little porker and the moses basket is getting quite snug but this is obviously bigger.

I'm down at my parents at the moment so am using their computer but should get replacements for mine in the week so hopefully will be back online at home soon which is a good thing as I'm quite lonely without it! The new computer has wifi. I'm not entirely sure what that means - will I be able to post from the garden?

Enjoy the sunshine. Or the rain if you are Eids

Shrinkinglily · 03/06/2007 11:24

Dolly I have one of these

It is raining here again today.

Shrinkinglily · 03/06/2007 11:27

Eidsvold , the table sounds fabulous and a bargain too!

Sazzy I hope Elliot is all better soon.

foxcub · 03/06/2007 11:27

Eids we need a new set of garden furniture too. Everytime the sales are on I think "must buy some" but then forget - enjoy yours!

Dolly - you can have our pop up cot if its large enough! Shall I measure the length? I've never really looked at it but its very light.

foxcub · 03/06/2007 11:29

Sazzy - glad you got back OK - that cous cous was fab

Monti is a bit sniffly too today

Shrinky that carrycot is gorgeous!!

Shrinkinglily · 03/06/2007 11:38

Actually mine is last years version...more turquiose and I got it for 9.99 sigh, I love Vertbaudet
