Not sure if a thread exists already. If so, point me in the right direction.
Here's a place to celebrate our bundles of joy and find support for everything from stitches to breastfeeding, partners and sleep and anything else we may come across in the early days to challenge us!

@SnowBambino thanks for getting back to me. It sounds pretty similar amount in 24 hours, think I won't drop a feed for another month or so.

It was the one before the long afternoon nap I was thinking of, but that would have meant no milk for over 6 hours as she usually sleeps for a couple of hours in the afternoon now.

Don't won't to disrupt the nights either!

Hi, I am beginning to suspect that dd's formula milk is making her constipated; every time I try to introduce it (currently breastfeeding), this seems to happen. Anyone experienced this?

Hello!!! My names changed slightly and can't remember what it was but it's still me!
Yes I've got a 13 month old and cannot believe how quick that year went! My little girl is almost walking now just taking 3 or 4 steps is very cute!
How are you all doing?

@vickylou78 Hey, she sounds exactly the same as mine walking wise as she only actually started a month ago as she was just too dam efficient at crawling (she actually really scuttled like some like of beetle).

It really isn't past imagining posting in ten years when they start secondary school!

However I am happy to be done with breast deeding, I did really love it but by a year I was totally done, and luckily she was no longer interested really so just do a couple of bottles of organic cows milk now a day

Yes my little one was super quick at crawling so if she has to get anywhere quick she falls to ground and crawls along instead! But getting way more adventurous each day with walking. Getting across bigger gaps in the furniture now if you know what I mean!

I formula fed but my little girl is now on two bottles of cows milk a day (one first thing and one bed time) so it's much easier that we aren't in the feeding all the time, giving solids in between phase as that was full on!

I'm excited for the talking! My girl says 'uh oh', 'hiya' and 'daddy' at the moment! Does that sound about right?!

The words mine says is the same, she has now added bub-by when she waves people away in the last few weeks too.

The next teeth are cutting this last week, 4 of them coming through now. She has 8 but they are all the front ones top and bottom so although it has been hard work the last week with the teething again i will be happy for her to get some of those further back ones for eating less mushy things.

Just did the the chicken pox vaccine too, but be warned if you have pregnant friends/family members as you cant see them for 4 weeks post jab as its live (even if the woman has had chicken pox the baby is not protected by that)

Ah don't have to worry about chicken pox jab as my little girl caught it when she was only 6 months old! Thankfully she had it quite mildly in terms of illness but had plenty of spots!

@vickylou78 that must have been horrible your little one catching it at six months, unavoidable but that must have been a fairly stressful times.

Anyone thinking about another yet? After my depo runs out we are going for number 3. Only shame is my body has finally recovered and I'm in good shape again so will wave good bye to that.

My breasts however will never be the same Grin

Hi!! Think it's only me and you!!

Yes her catching chicken pox at 6 months definitely not ideal as could have had complications but she was really brilliant and recovered really quick. But she caught Hand, foot and mouth shortly after (also from her 3yr old sister) and that was nasty. We ended up in A&E as she had blisters all over her throat so couldn't drink milk and was getting dehydrated and distressed so effected her breathing was awful! But all good now thankfully!

I am finished with babies!!! It's very brave of you going for a number 3! But go for it. I'm an older mum (41 this year) so my body is knackered and I've got diastasis recti (separated and) so I'm dealing with that and need to do lots more physio to try and fix it.

Good luck with the Ttc! Enjoy!

Hello! OP here. How nice to see some people still checking in!
No more for us. This is DC3 and for many reasons that's enough!
She is utterly amazing at 14.5 months! Walking well and a big talker. So very affectionate and just a lovely bundle of love. We have just stopped breastfeeding this week, and she is sleeping through mist nights, finally!
So I am getting my health and fitness back after a nightmare burth and diastasis recti here too... I am swimming a couple of times a week, and running too...
I am back at work and hating it, but needs must.
I just totally live have 3 kids, and so to those contemplating another I say go for it! Best of luck.

Agh, sorry for all the typos. I'm sure you get the gist!

Ah your little one sounds fabulous @3in4years! They are brilliant at this age aren't they - mostly sleeping through, bit of talking, bit of personality but no tantrums or answering back yet!! I'm loving it.

Sorry to hear about your diastasis recti @3in4years. Hope yours isn't too bad, I'm guessing it's on the mend if you are running. I'm still at stage where running is a massive no no.
