Clearly I'm feeling nostalgic! Just think, some of them even had heart beats this time last year!!

OP posts:

Lizzz - ROFL at 'managed to BF' after 3 mohitos. I have visions of you drunkenly aiming a nipple at LO's mouth and hitting his forehead instead!

Galmum - enjoy your drink tonight, sounds like you deserve it.

We moved 3.5 years ago and I said at the time that I NEVER, EVER, EVER want to move house or have anything to do with estate agents in my life (and I still feel that way) so lots of luck to both of you with your house moves

RGee · 27/04/2007 17:41

Galmum and Lizz - house buying is soooo stressful, I don't envy you. You can't trust anyone. Big to you both, and a glass of champagne each..hic...

2Happy - YANBU. I like to think Lizz is right about karma though.

LTH - how's the downstairs flood gates today?

Hattie / Lizz - I introduced the formula over about 5 weeks. Despite my big tits, they were remarkably inefficient and dried up, so am not the best person to comment on it. I never experienced engorgement, even around milk coming in on day 3, and could only ever express 1 oz.
Would love to lose some hair too. I'm surprised I don't have birds nesting in my barnet. I guess I might have and just not notice

RGee · 27/04/2007 17:42

EAH - forgot to ask how the front of house is looking.
Jodie - how's the potty training going?
Wilkie - hope you had a good couple of days. You back yet?

katwith3kittens · 27/04/2007 17:51

Think I must be a slack mum, quite often have a glass of wine (or 2) in the evening and I'm BF

My hair is falling out too.

Eeek - moving house sounds so scary.

Just spent £9.50 on a sun hat from Gap. It is a wide brimmed thing with velcro under the chin to keep the thing on, so he looks like he could be going on safari, but cant quite make up my mind if I've paid about £8 too much. Think its my hormones that are making me do irrational things just to make my LO look cute .

Have a lovely weekend, and dont chat too much before I check back in on Monday

ellieandhattie · 27/04/2007 18:03

Kat Hattie got one of those hats from Gap but she gets so annoyed with the strap

Rgee - pmsl re the bird/hair thing maybe thats where the mouse is????

Galmum/Lizz re house move I dont envy you

Agree re p&c spaces so annoying I even told an old couple once as they took the last one and I had both dd's in the car. They just looked at me and carried on and when getting a trolley saw mw struggling to get Hatties car seat out of normal space without banging someones door

Laughalot will have to look at codes for you and post them later

Drive is finished and looks great, wasnt here when he finished but he had even moved my huge silver containers back by the front door, put my wheelie bin away and fixed the latch on my side gate (it never catches properly so any wind and it blows open!) havent even paid him as I wasnt here he just rang me on mobile and said he'd pop by over weekend to collect money will try and take some pics later.

Ellies appt at speech therapy assesment went well, they are not over worried but will see her again in July to check again and given me some exercises to practice her 'ha' noises as she can say hattie but but cant do harvey (its the haaa bit she cant do comes out as baaa)

Child free weekend from 1.30 tomorrow till 6pm sunday (my mum and dad having them overnight and taking them out sunday so lay in and some time to get a few bits in house done and we may even go out for lunch eeeek I am going to have to 'talk' to dh!!)

ellieandhattie · 27/04/2007 18:09

theUrbanDryad · 27/04/2007 18:09

hey all - well i had my first night without Dh since LO was born. went surprisingly well. actually, it was pretty much the same as when he is here! the only difference was the bed being cold when i got back in after doing the night feeds!

2Happy - YANBU, drives me up the wall too!!
EAH - how was Ellie today? speech therapy can work wonder (i used to want to be a speech therapist but was too lazy to make it to uni!!)
Wilkie - who was that baby??? surely not J - had a pink bow in his/her hair!
Galmum/Lizz - good luck with the house buying. i can rest safe in the knowledge that we are never getting on the housing ladder!!

right, Z has just puked on me, so gotta go...ttfn!!

JodieG1 · 27/04/2007 18:22

Just uploaded some new pics on my profile of Ethan and also showing my new haircut.

Potty training is going well, no accidents at all today! So proud of him He went to pre-school as well. Dh is home so I'm very pleased and won't be on much tonight maybe later on though and will have a proper catch up.

Can't stand the p&t issue either really drives me mad when people without kids park in them.

UD - glad the night went well

LadyTophamHatt · 27/04/2007 18:46

Huh...guess its just me who isn't bothered by the P&T space issue.

Dragonhart · 27/04/2007 20:04

Lizz- I 2nd or third the whole pmt giving up feeds. I was the same after each one. My hair has started to fall out too. Keep fining it in Ruth's hands and I am scared to death thtat she is going ot eat it!

EAH- E is welcome to come and play on LUke's climbing frame- prob be dark before she gets here though! We are buying it with some of his christmas money and giving him his birthday present from us early so he can enjoy it all summer. You can buy alsorts to go with it and add bits, then it grows with extensions to a full size one when he is over 3. Cant wait! Hoping he will be so tired he will drop every night Glad the drive and E appt went ok.

Rgee- Pic of half a dead mouse. Lovely Couldnt help but look!

2happy- GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! about people parking in the p&c spaces when they dont need them. God it really anoys me. Alway say really loudly near people who do it how selfish it is (too much of a coward to say it to their faces!) when I get the chance. There is a next and boots on a retail park near us and there is always a white van parked in one of the spaces. God it hacks me off!! Does anyone know if a carpark would fine you if you parked over two spaces when they dont have any p&c spaces free/or any p&c spaces at all? Like an NCP one wher eyou pay. DH says they would but I think that is a load of crap.

Kat, I read you thread last night too and I think it is shocking. Also cant beleive they wouldnt do the share the presents out thing.

Galum and Lizz, dont envy you with the moving out. We had such a nightmare just buyin gthis house, really not looking forward to when we move and have to sell as well!

Well, Luke was an little angel today. We went to the library and I have never let him out of the buggy when we have gone before but he was so good and kept wanting to play with a little girl there who was older and a bit shy so she kept running away from him. Then off to asda (oh joy) but he was good there too. Tried on some sandles on him and when he ran off when I asked him to walk so I could see if they cam off, I told him to come back...

...and he did!!

Then when I got home, DH had cooked chilli for tea (mmmmmm chilli).

After finished on here off to watch desperate housewives and eat choc (my idea of a treat has certainly changed!)

theUrbanDryad · 27/04/2007 20:06

Jodie - very cute pics. i love Ethan's hair, looks like he's got a little quiff!

LTH - if you were any more laid back you'd be lying down!!

Dragonhart · 27/04/2007 20:24

Ooh! Forgot to look at the pics Jodie. Gorgeous! He looks really like Luke did at that age (and looks just as big!). If he is anything like Luke then you will have muscles like a sailor by the time he is 21 months!! (sorry cant remember if you other los were big or not)

I have to say that I am finding having a featherweight girl very nice. Although she is also growing out of all her lovely outfits too quickly.

LadyTophamHatt · 27/04/2007 20:28

it does bug me to see emoty cars or vans in p&T spaces but as soon as i've dirven passed the spaces it's done.....I coan't exctly move the cars to get un one so I just park eslewhere.

Although I have to admit whenI was massivley Pg, with just days to go I did complian to the poor gilr on cust services about vans etc in them.
Notthat she could do anything about it but being PG, and going shopping with 3 ds's jsut sent me over the edge.

Dragonhart · 27/04/2007 20:35

That all sounds far too rational for a lady with 4 boys!! Before you had them you must have been reeeeaaaalllly laid back!

I mean, seeing a situation that you can do nothing to rectify and just accepting it! Why thats just...thats just rational!

JodieG1 · 27/04/2007 20:37

UD - thanks, it does look like that hehe

DH - My dd was very small and only weighed 9lbs odd at 3 months but ds1 was about the same as Ethan. My muscles used to ache a lot more than they do now so must be adjusting!

RGee · 27/04/2007 20:48

EAH - am loving all those discount codes. Payday on Monday (half pay ) so maybe go shopping!! If anyone shops online at Tescos, there was a code in a magazine this month - get a fiver off when you spend 50 quid by using code XX-FNHY (exlcudes formula and valid til 3 June).
Hope Ellie's appointment went well today.

Anyone doing anything exciting this weekend? I'm off for a girls weekend to Nottinghamshire (watch out Laughalot ), but bringing dh with me to babysit whilst I get leathered. Hurrah!!

RGee · 27/04/2007 20:51

2Happy - hope you're thinking of a new thread title.....

LadyTophamHatt · 27/04/2007 20:51

Ds1 birthday on sunday so will be doing something for him

RGee · 27/04/2007 20:55

Ohhh what you doing?

laughalot · 27/04/2007 20:58
