I'm all out of breast milk

That's better his temp is 36.8 now

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 20:36

I gave up feeding six months ago and still have leaky breasts. Wtf?

Jelley · 04/04/2007 20:37

macca

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 20:52

Breastmilk made DS's conjunctivitis worse

Do I just have manky milk?

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 21:01

Must be all the alcohol in it

Going to go watch The Apprentice

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 21:05

Shock HmmGrin

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 04/04/2007 21:26

I could send you some breastmilk pg - with dd being ill she's been feeding several times a day again, as it's all that's keeping her going!

I suspect she might be feeling better now though, as she moaned for 35 mins before going to sleep tonight (in a standing up in the cot objecting to going to bed sort of way) - the last couple of days she's gone straight off whenever I've put her down.

I would've come to Paradise if I'd known, but I have a friend from toddlers coming round in the morning. Maybe macca and I can go another time!

I only get to go when my friend with a people carrier is going, so we can all fit in three cars

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 05/04/2007 08:26

Aaarggghh - dd seems brighter (though still won't eat much - going to have to wean her onto solids all over again!) but now I feel really sick!

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 08:41

Lovely start to the day.

DD got up with DH and was watching tv... DS woke so she went to play with him.

"Mummy!!! He bein siiiiiiiiiick"

Walk in the room, fairly happy DS - covered in sick... all down the side of the cot from where he had been leaning over talking to DD, all over any toys underneath (mainly stickle bricks )

Chucked him in the bath with the showerhead attached, stripped him off in there (lovely poo too), showered him down then left him & DD to play with the shower (very little water coming out and no plug in!!) whilst I cleared the bedroom. Twas that lovely curdled milk stuff too

I was hoping he would be better today - I have to go out, so I am going to have to run in and out and hope for the best

Now curled up in my arms - no idea what I'll do about him sleeping because his mattress is drying

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 05/04/2007 08:51

Lovely flame . Pushchair for sleep methinks.

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 08:53

He won't sleep in it at home

PhoenixGirl · 05/04/2007 10:56

I've got ds curled up on my knee too

We've just got back from the docs and it is conjunctivitus so we've got drops. We're just gonna attempt to get some in, should be fun.

The doc asked if we'd been giving him anything like calpol etc. and i said hes been having medised. He looked at me like i'd made it up and said 'what's Medised?'

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 11:32

Did you make sure you emphasised it was with an S? It could have confused him if you didn't say mediSed

Just cried hysterically at Psychomum Was trying to get kids in the car to go to tescos to buy the replacement easter swap thing - DD threw a huge tantrum and screamed in the street. Psycho called as it was all happening and siad there was no parking at tescos and it was the last straw ... sobbed about the insane DD, DS now has a black eye to go with his sickness (not sure how), the need for the egg, that I'm useless etc. She's buying a new egg, dropping it over, then coming and taking DD away until after tea.

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 11:33

Did the doctor giev you drops or that cool gel stuff that sort of melts into their eye?

PhoenixGirl · 05/04/2007 11:43

Drops. He asked if we wanted cream or drops. I thought with him rubbing his eyes cream would just get rubbed away so went for drops.

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 13:57

Well DD's gone, DS is asleep... I'm off to watch Lost!

(should be doing housework but DH can help with that tomorrow )

mustrunmore · 05/04/2007 15:11

I'm back. Summary please!!

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 16:12

Lots of poo n sick. Gunky eyes. General whinging.

2boysmacca · 05/04/2007 16:40

It's been very quiet.

Flame, I empathise. I never realised just how more difficult 2 are rather than 1!

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 18:15

Hurrah - call from Psycho... gettin DD back tomorrow

2boysmacca · 05/04/2007 19:20

Made it to the gym this afternoon which was a relief but they'd changed allt he equipment round so I was searching for machines and weights . Came back home and had to make myself scarce again as dh working fromhome. I popped the boys in the buggy and schlepped into town. Walking up and down that big hill after a session at the gym was pure madness!

Dh had is interview this morning and he has been asked back next week . How freaky is this though, their offices are in the same building he started out in his first job, 2 floors below! The early days when we met [cue violin]

I'm off out with friends tonight. Tomorrow we'll be up and off before most of you get up . Have a lovely Easter and stay off the chocolate, it's not worth the extra inches!

Flamesparrow · 05/04/2007 19:44

Soupy - 10 tubs of floam going on freecycle - BabyDragon had dinner yet?

mustrunmore · 05/04/2007 20:32

Hang on, where's DD been flame? Evacuated?

Has babydragon actually eaten floam, or is that just a cheeky comment?

Whrere you going macca?

Oooo, Paradise. I miss not going all the time to see that Justin guy who works there He's lovely!!

PhoenixGirl · 05/04/2007 22:39

Where is everyone today, its very quiet.

dh is on nights i'm bored!!!
