Macc, no! its just a review that they gym offer, every couple of months, they like to sit down with you and chat about your goals! its coucil run one and tis very good, was quite shocked, guess they have to compete in todays markets.

The business is fun, pity is doesn't pay shed loads tho! we're trying to build it up a bit this year, thinking of new ways to take it forward/enable us to make it a primary business rather than a secondary one!

CSWS for the puke.....

Frizbe · 04/04/2007 08:33

rite off to feed the kids, catch ya later!

Chloe55 · 04/04/2007 09:14

Hope the two poorly babies start feeling better today.

Got to go to work in 20mins .....boooooo!!!!!!!!!!

I have managed to rope my cousin into coming running with me so I am starting back in earnest today, after putting weight on again at weight watchers last night! I have to shift another stone before my holiday in August or I will not be comfortable and I can't do it if I sit on my arse and eat easter eggs all day so I need to stop whinging and get back on track.

House is a mess again It was immaculate on Monday, I just can't keep up!

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 09:35

Awww Chloe - this is why I never get it in that state in the first place (immaculate that is )

Had a phone call from a woman wanting advice, asking what I could change in the starter kits etc. Went a bit panicky . Not helped by the fact that I told her last night via email that every newborn needs a swaddlebees because of the cute factor, and she wanted to know what point there was in having just one I sounded insane saying it was just so pretty!

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 04/04/2007 16:19

Where is everyone today then? DD had a long sleep this morning after a bath with me to wash off all the sick. Got her up and bf her, then brought her downstairs, where she pooed so explosively that her entire outfit got covered - lovely! Cleaned her up in time for MIL to visit - actually glad of the company this time! MIL now left and dd back in bed for another nap.

How's Emrys doing now flame?

Chloe - I know what you mean about the old threads. I really should print them all off and put them in a box for future reference, but I'd need soooooo much paper , and the formatting is all horrible now isn't it, which is such a shame.

Jelley - is your house now spotless? I thought you'd be on here loads if you were having a housework day .

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 16:48

I kept an blog type thing on another site of my pregnancy with Emrys - its really nice to have still

He's a bit better - no more poo since this morning, been asleep for the last 3 hrs or so though.

DD has been very neglected - she has played on the computer for ages this afternoon while I slept on the sofa .

Your day sound slike fun

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 17:18

Quick ... just realised that I have only today used a fresh cauliflower for the first time!

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 04/04/2007 17:23

What other kind of cauli is there?

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 17:29

a rotten one

I wish the weather would decide what it wans to do. One minute it's hot, the next minute it's cold

I am absolutely knackered! At least you put her on the computer to have a nap Flame, I use the noddy DVD!!! I fear that is worse He never watched tv for the first 18 months of his life, then I became pregnant and it was a life saver. Now he watches far too much. It's not allowed on in the morning until 7.20 (he has been up a good hour and a half by then) and he will switch it off at 9.00 but it then goes on after lunch for an hour then back on at 3.30 for Peppa Pig, Lazy Town and Jakers. It gets switched off at tea time and it doesn't go back on until they've gone to bed. Too much tv. Naughty mummy!

Oh sounds like someone is having a poop. Yuk!

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 17:53

Frozen

Didn't do much in the way of cooking when I was at home, left home and it was sporadic so used frozen because all other veg went off before we used it. I tend to use fresh for everything else now but the cauliflower I stuck with frozen for some unknown reason.

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 04/04/2007 18:03

Ah that's ok. Frozen veg do make sense sometimes, and good when you don't want a whole cauli. I might even have a bag in the freezer somewhere (poss past its use by, as I buy frozen veg for standby, but then always have fresh!).

You must have frozen peas and sweetcorn too surely - they should be in everyone's freezer!

Still sunny here macca (not that we've made it outside today).

OP posts:
2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 18:06

Peas yes, sweetcorn no! Just threw a load of veg in the compost as we're going away. I throw so much stuff out. Why can't I buy a few beans rather than a huuge pack? I must strat going to the market again, at least I can buy what I want and need.

It's sunny here but the minute cloud comes by it is freezing!

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 18:13

Frozen peas, tinned sweetcorn.

Quick question... what post deliveries are there over easter (eg - is there any Friday and/or Saturday) - completely f*cked up my easter swap and panicking

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 18:44

no post Friday or Monday. Will be a delivery on Saturday.

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 18:52

should get there then

PhoenixGirl · 04/04/2007 20:04

Def no post Friday & Monday cos we don't work (I work for Royal Mail in case you've forgotten ) but we work Sat so there'll be post

Lewis has got conjunctivitus (sp?) He's not well Will be at docs tomorrow.

Hope the other LO's get well soon too

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 20:05

Arghhh for your ds. Luca has now had it for 3 weeks and I am meticulous with cleaning him and me after i have touched him. I think I might be down the Docs tomorrow too!!

Jelley · 04/04/2007 20:13

seems like all the babies except mine are poorly at the moment.

No sparkly house csws I went out for lunch, and invited friends (and 5 children) round in the afternoon. I did get 5 trays of lasagne made for dps lunches though.

We are going to Paradise Wildlife Park tomorrow for the day, so at least it won't get more messy, and I'll have another go at the housework on Friday.

PhoenixGirl · 04/04/2007 20:13

At least i think that's wot it is. Describe it to me cos i don't really know apart from sticky eyes.

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 20:15

Freaky! Jelley, I was supposed to be going there tomorrow too but the arrangements didn't pan out in the end.

Flamesparrow · 04/04/2007 20:15

I tend to go to the docs with anything sticky eye that doesn't clear within about 24 hours - I don't like to leave anything eye related to see if it clears up naturally.

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 20:16

PG that's about it, very sticky eyes and usually quite bloodshot. When they wake they tend to be glued together and there is lots of gunk throughout the day. You can also see a film forming accross the eye.

2boysmacca · 04/04/2007 20:17

Breast milk used to work wonders for ds!

PhoenixGirl · 04/04/2007 20:27

Well yesterday he woke up with a tiny bit of gunk on his eyelashes and was a bit whingy all day. There was no sticky stuff after his naps. Same this morning, just a bit of sticky stuff. Nothing after his morning nap but again he's been whingy. Then after his afternoon nap dh rang me at work and said his eye was sticky and dh said he's been really miserable.

When i got home from work he's just sat on my knee quietly which is unlike him, his temp was 39.4 then 38.9 just after medised and his eye looks a little swollen and constantly sticky. He's gone to sleep now tho. I'm gonna go up and do his temp again in a sec.

Jelley · 04/04/2007 20:28

We could've had a little meet up. There are 4 of us going with 12 children, so you'd have probavbly been scared off!

Agree that breast milk is the best for sticky eyes (and also get it seen fairly quickly), but not many of us could manage enough. I could probably get enough to treat a sticky eye, but not much more. DS has had one feed a week this month
