I'm just here, phew, managed to get a sec to myself!!! have read the thread, but not sure I've digested it totally.

Flame, hope you've had a great dd free night hope ds is better for you by tomorrow.

CSWS hope your feeling better too? Is dd fully mended?

Macca, well done on the gym enjoy your weekend away!

MRM have you run today?

Phoenix, for working saturday, just think I'm working all weekend too!

Jelley enjoy the park place! is there a link to it, I've never heard of it?!

Been sewing, juggling kids and breaking mugs today (dd2 did one of them for me, even tho I kept moving it out of her reach outside, she persevered and eventually got it and dropped in on the paving slabs when I was looking at dd1 for a second.....later on I dropped another mug myself in the same spot purely gibbery handed moment! old age I guess?? still not totally sure how it happened!

V happy with self as have managed to rent out friends house today (taken ages this time, wrong time of year) got them on a years contract and it turns out I know them from Aikido!! two of the sensi's so know they'll be sound people to rent to.

Also managed to load car this evening, so just about ready for the off, bar a few bits in the morning, like beakers, 2 x cool bags, toothbrushes, oh and the kids!

Have a great Easter all, cause I'm guessing there'll be no one around for a chat!

Flamesparrow · 06/04/2007 00:10

Just on a sec - DD got rescued by Psychomum...w as going stir crazy.

I think babydragon at floam a while ago...

I am v drunk... back im the morning

Frizbe · 06/04/2007 00:20

happy drunkeness, right off to bed, nite all!

Jelley · 06/04/2007 07:04

I'm sure babydragon ate floam...

Glad you got to relax a bit last night Flame.

Is everyone going to be offline/away for Easter then?
Not me...I'll be going quietly mad, with dp at home for 4 days.

We had a lovely day out yesterday. Stayed til it shut. DS puked all over his bed at 9.30 last nightthough. I'm not sure if it was too much picnic food or what. h's fine again now.

He walked tons yesterday

Frizbe , I'll do you a link. The animals are a side attraction for my kids. They wouldn't even bother looking at then iff I took them, but some of the others wanted to see them, so we did have a brief look. It has loads of play areasthey love. I'd bu a season ticket if i had a car.

Jelley · 06/04/2007 07:06

Paradise Wildlife Park

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 07:15

Morning. I'll be here over Easter.

Wasn't on yesterday as felt terrible. dh had to spend some time entertaining dd whilst I collapsed on the sofa. You can tell how ill I was by the fact that I didn't MN, and all I ate all day was 2 slices of dry toast.

If I feel okay after breakfast (bit funny now, but might just be because I'm empty) then we're probably going to go to Whipsnade for the day.

Hope Lew's eye is improving, and that flame had a good night without dd.

Right, best go check porridge.

Still trying to actually do a proper catch up posting!!
No run last night; had sooo much 'stuff' to do to get sorted from being away (unpacking, washing, reconstructing the boys room after it being painted etc etc), and actually had to talk to dh too.

ds1 had a year pass for paradise for his first birthday, and we used it at least twice a week. It was great!! But we had a friend with a car then, who also had a pass.

On that subject... all you fairly local people... got my Dad on Monday.. with a car... any really good ideas for a day trip for the boys? Say an hour from me as a maximum? And not too popular, else it'll be hell on Easter Monday!! Willows will be too busy, as will Paradise, not sure my Dad will like going to the seaside, did Mountfitchet so recently, we dont have the card for Warwick/Chessington at the moment. And I have no more ideas! Csws, you can tell me how busy Whipsnade was! If you actually make it there, you poor thing.

PhoenixGirl · 06/04/2007 08:48

Morning all,

I'll probably be here over Easter. We've got nothing planned cos dh is on nights (last night, tonight and tomorrow) so he's in bed now and most of tomorrow and Sunday too.

You got a hangover Flame? Hope you had a good night.

for feeling s**t csws.

Yay for walking ds Jelley

Lews eye is still red and swollen a bit but no gunk yesterday, apart from when he first woke up, and none this morning and he seems much brighter this morning. I hate putting the drops in his eyes i wish i'd said cream now lol.

I got some neurofen for the 1st time yesterday. I like the syringe thing, much easier than a spoon

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 10:34

No Whipsnade today. dd threw up into her breakfast (think it was induced by drinking too much milk too fast), and the world fell out of my bottom! Will try for tomorrow or Monday instead. mrm - go there on Monday and we can meet up with you!

OP posts:
PhoenixChick · 06/04/2007 15:23

Lewis is definitely loads better today. No whinging at all and he's eating better I'm continueing [that doesn't look right, how the hell do u spell it] with the drops though.

I've been in to town for a few hours. dh is still in bed and Lewis and the dog are asleep so i'm sat here very much in summer mode with a glass of lager

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 15:29

continuing

Glad to see someone else with an Easter name - thought I was going to be the only one on here!

OP posts:
PhoenixChick · 06/04/2007 15:40

I put it like that first but it still didn't look right

Jelley · 06/04/2007 15:53

I noticed the name change, but didn't even register it was an easter one csws

Jelley · 06/04/2007 15:53

I noticed the name change, but didn't even register it was an easter one csws

PhoenixChick · 06/04/2007 16:03

Lewis woke from his nap and was a bit whingy so i gave him a cuddle and he's back asleep on my knee.

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 17:08

I don't think 'a bit whingy' covers how dd has woken from her nap. She hasn't stopped screaming at the top of her voice and crying since she got up 40 mins ago. Am assuming teething, but worried that it could be ear infection without me realising (2 friends just got over one). Gave nurofen - no difference. Gave calpol - no difference so far. Aaaaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh.

And d'oh at you not realising my name was for Easter!

OP posts:
Jelley · 06/04/2007 17:13

your poor dd csws.

ds was sick again this afternoon Seems fine though.

I've got loads done today. DP didn't get out of bed until 3.30.
I'm giving myself the day off tomorrow.

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 17:29

The day off housework, or the day off all responsibilities

Hope your ds isn't sickening for our bug.

OP posts:
Flamesparrow · 06/04/2007 17:37

wouldn't have had a bloody hangover had I not been up between 4 & 6am with DS - he was miserable and would only sleep downstairs in the armchair wiht me

No time for full post, just thought I should check in

Jelley · 06/04/2007 22:11

Definitely a day off housework. I'm hoping for a day off everything, but this is why I hate weekends. I imagine dp thinking..."I got a lovely lie in today, I'll take all the kids out for the day and give her a break..." and then get disappointed whenhe doesn't read my mind

Where is everyone??????

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 22:19

It is unusually quiet isn't it. You'd think that mrm was still away as she hasn't bothered to come on and chat!

It wouldn't matter if my dh read my mind - he still wouldn't do it!

OP posts:
Jelley · 06/04/2007 22:22

Are you feeling better?

You're right, even when I make a specific request, I still don't get what I want. I need to lower my expectations.

Jelley · 06/04/2007 22:25

And dd?

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 22:31

I'm feeling much better thanks - still a bit of an upset tummy, but not too bad, and improving.

Dd - who knows! Hideous nappies again today, but I'm now struggling to work out if it's diarrhoea from her bug, normal poo for an almost exclusively bf 14 month old (she's eaten 1 reasonable meal today, and one tiny one yesterday, but that's all since Sunday tea), or just teething combined with the limited solids!! Pretty sure it is teething that's bothering her, but she's sleeping ok at night (so far!) which she doesn't normally do when she is. If only she could actually tell me eh?!

ChocolateSucksWithoutSugar · 06/04/2007 22:32

Perhaps you should expect nothing, and then you could be pleasantly surprised sometimes .
